I went to Steve's Burgers and ordered a large chili fries for about $10. Honestly, it was really disappointing. The container wasn't even filled all the way, and the fries were soggy and some didn't seem fully cooked--they should've been way more crispy. They poured a lot of chili on top, which I didn't mind, but barely added any cheese. The onions were just thrown in the middle and didn't seem cooked enough either. Overall, it just didn't taste good, especially for the price. I've had better chili fries at other places for the same cost. I went back politely and asked if they could remake it, but the worker told me the chili is what makes the fries soggy. I explained that the fries themselves seemed like they had been sitting out, not freshly made. Instead of remaking it, she argued with me and said I'd have to pay for another order. Eventually, she gave me a small fries, but she seemed annoyed about it. The small fries were actually crispy, which just proved my point. I ended up throwing most of the food away. Overall, I wouldn't come back here again and will be taking my business somewhere else. read more

The prices here are great! I'm a huge sucker for Zucchini fries/sticks so I looked up zucchini fries and Steve's Burgers came up. I ended ordering a combo, double cheeseburger, zucchini fries (6 of them) and small drink for about $13. I'm todays economy, I think that's a pretty good deal. Only thing for me was the zucchini sticks were mushy on the inside, although the coating was crunchy. I think the zucchini fries would be perfect for they weren't as mushy. The double cheeseburger was fairly cold by the time for home only 5 minutes away; but it was a decent burger. All in all a decent experience. If. I grew up in Burbank, CA. It's a small town with a contentious debate about which local spot has the best breakfast burritos. Let me just say, I was quite spoiled growing up surrounded by so many delicious options. When I moved to MoVal I was looking forward to finding a great breakfast burrito spot. Many locals have recommended Steve's Burgers so I was excited to give it a try. Burgers wise, they're known for pastrami, but that's not my favorite so I tried a chili cheese burger. It was decent. The fries were delicious. I love that they have horchata as a beverage option. I don't recall what my husband ordered, but he liked it. We returned another day to try the breakfast burritos. I ordered a bacon burrito with the bacon extra crispy. My husband ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito. They're each served with salsa. I believe they're very reasonably priced. I enjoyed both burritos, but nothing compares to home. As for the salsa, I'd say it's good, not great. Don't expect good customer service. The first time I came the person taking our order seemed annoyed. The second time I came (not sure if it was the same person) the woman misheard me when I ordered 1 chorizo breakfast burrito and 1 bacon breakfast burrito. She thought I ordered, "a chorizo burrito, add bacon" and then proceeded to criticize me as if it was my fault. I just let it go since it's nothing to get upset over, but it rubbed me the wrong way. What can you say about Good old Steve's burgers. I mean it's a classic burger joint and has been my hubby and I's go to spot for pastrami for years! The service is cool they get you in and out no messing around. Love that. They also don't have a lot of places to sit and eat so it's more of a joint than it is a restaurant. You get ya food and get out. Quality hole in the wall burger for a decent price. Plus they give you a good amount of fries that can last the car ride home. Please check your food before you leave. They forgot 2 items and then when i came back to adress this concern. The lady asked foe my receipt. They dont give receipts they use number tabs. Waited 30 min for them to locate as she mentioned in her cash register orders and everyone around placing order noticed they were just not helpful or wanting correct the mistake. I ordered to go on the phone. There must be a new cook and he's mad. Salsa had a lot of pepper and tasted old. It used to be yummy. I got 4 extra salsas & it's not good anymore. The breakfast burrito was questionable, too. The eggs weren't scrambled up. The cook put over-hard eggs in my burrito. Like he had them from another order ? I've probably had 30-50 breakfast burritos from Steve's. This was awful. I got a big bite of white egg. Couldn't cover it up with the salsa. I was a regular customer. Let me start off by saying I hate Moreno Valley. The people, weather, and food. However, Steve's Burgers is a shinning light in the darkness when it comes to a good ol' fashioned 90's style burger. The food is great....but like I said the people. The lady at the window was frustrating. I tried to order the New York burger with turkey patties, you would have thought i asked her to cure cancer using an apple core, shoelace, and a square battery. This was more annoying than usual because the lady at the window was taking phone orders priority, instead of prioritizing the line that went practically around the building. Furthermore, the New York burger was absolutely amazing. The burger was Juicy and dripping, which is exactly what I love all over my mouth. The onion rings, fries, and zucchini fires were fresh, hot, and crispy. I really love the food at Steve's. The seating is outside and around the building. It's normally clean and hopefully you aren't sitting next to an unhoused person screaming about their conversation they had with Barack Obama on Instagram because they're friends . When I get there, they tell me that I owe $3.91 when I ask they couldn't explain why I owe $3.91. However, I solved the mystery and after a lengthy investigation (5 minutes),I found that it is the restaurants fault for not updating the prices and not correctly updating food descriptions on their menu. I was anticipating the usual order your food via the app or online, etc.. You go to the counter give your name and pick up and go. No you can't that you owe $3.91. The food was alright. Nothing to get all excited about out. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger WITH thousand and there was no thousand. Chili cheese fries and onion rings weren't the best either. I usually get good food here. But this one time, I ordered a plane carne asada burrito (no veggies, beans, nor rice) I ended up getting a greasy ground beef burrito. This has never happened to me before. I guess new or lazy employees were cooking that day. read more

The service is quick but depending on the time you visit, sometimes it's busy or they have a line.
