There was one little chili in the mix, but it didn't add any heat. The amount of celery made it unpleasant to eat because it was all I could taste. Peanuts and chicken were hard to find in this dish. The lo mein noodles were so overcooked that they were almost mushy. I expect lo mein to be slightly chewy and springy, but this was close to well-cooked spaghetti in terms of texture. The flavor profile was very much soy sauce and oyster sauce and not a whole lot of depth or complexity. The sweet and sour chicken was fine. I appreciated that the sauce was on the side so the chicken wouldn't get soggy, but it actually was not crispy to begin with. Having the sauce separately did allow it to be reheated in an air fryer and get crispy. This is our second disappointing experience with China Palace. We won't be patronizing them again.

I really enjoyed the soup. The lo mein was good, although I couldn't describe it as great. It had good flavor, but toward the bottom of the container, I began to come across noodles that seemed over cooked. I have to say that the dish could have benefitted from a few additional shrimp. The shrimp were fine, but a bit on the small side, and there didn't seem to be much of it. I think I got about 6 shrimp when it could have used 8 or 10. I didn't ask my son about his beef, but he is usually fine with anything edible. I think I would order from here again to try some other dishes. It was good for the price.

I have never been more disappointed in a restaurant. I normally love Panda Express, I've never had issues with this place until tonight. I ordered $50 worth of food, I received my 3 large drinks and 1 bag with 2 meals in it, I pulled up to check the bag, I was missing 1 meal, 2 sides, Rangoons, and 3 egg rolls. When I pulled around to the window to explain that I was missing more than half of my order I received nothing but ignorance from the employee, she stated "what didn't you receive because I filled the order!?" As I told her what was in the bag I was asked to pull around to the other side of the building as they fixed my order, I sat there for another 30 minutes to have the same employee come out to my car to tell me that her manager had watched the tapes and saw that they handed me the bag with the rest of the food in it, when I told her and showed her the bag I received she called me a lair and shoved the bag in my car with an open container in it getting rice and sauce all over not only me but my whole vehicle, when I asked for a manager she ignored me and went inside yelling and called me names. I will not be returning to this restaurant ever again. I'm a very patient person but I do not appreciate being treated the way I was tried. I understand times are weird right now due to Covid but that is NO EXCUSE to be an ignorant human and treat other humans like crap.
