It's amazing that they always remember the fortune cookies and always forget utensils and straws.

well it was my 3rd and last visit here, I typically go 3:45-4:00 and they were about 2/3 of the dishes and no one was in kitchen. I saw three employee's outside smoking and then saw them come back in and go right in kitchen without washing hands. They one guy actually took a metal container of sliced chicken out of frig and used his dirty hands to put in skillet to cook. read more

This location is absolutely garbage. Everything was old and nasty. Staff was rude and knowledgeable. Would never come back. The egg roll was less than half the size of one at any other Panda Express. The cashier couldn't figure out how to use a gift card. Just overall a horrible experience. read more

Every time I go there they say they are out of stringbean chicken my favorite entree why advertise something you don't serve

First time try of one of these locations. Tried the orange chicken with the fried rice. The rice did not have much flavor but pair with a bite of the chicken was really good . The entire transaction and food was good. Will be going back again one day. read more

Concerning the quality of the food, I don't have much to say that reflects on the individual location. While the staff has been friendly and accommodating, the end results of the service have been frustrating and disappointing. I have ordered carry out on two separate occasions in the last month, and both times I have had to return to the store to pick up the correction to my order (notably with sincere apologies and fair accommodations). Additionally, each time I placed my initial order I have had to wait 10-20 minutes for the menu item to cook. OKAY BOO HOO I had to practice some patience, but that seems to be common feedback on here so I figured I would share as well. All in all, for the inconveniences that a customer is faced with at a business that is designed to be convenient, there is no competitive edge that Panda Express has in this area other than their Beyond Chicken option-and that shit slaps. read more

Panda Express - Beyond Orange Chicken and Chow Mein - Chinese Near Me - Monroe, Michigan

Sunday evening 6pm, sesame chicken sounds good for the family, of course, there out, just like they were out 2 days ago at dinner time. I seriously wish this place would just close there doors. Every time I pull in here, it's a 95% chance they will NOT have what my family wants to order, I wish zero stars was an option read more

My Togo place for fast food Chinese. Only one request please cook your fried rice longer.

The food is good however, every single time I have to wait. One time I had to call them and remind them that I was out here waiting. They did end up giving me free coupons. It's just ridiculous how they can never have food ready. read more

Our first big box Chinese restaurant in town. Have to say I was excited to see it being built even though we have 2 or 3 Chinese restaurants in town already that I like and several more I pass on. I was disappointed with Panda Express. Did not care for Sweet and Sour Chicken. Egg rolls were good but I like all egg rolls. This will be placed on rare visits for Chienese food. read more

I wish I could give them a higher rating. The restaurant is clean and service is friendly. But the last 3 times I've gotten take out the food has been awful! It didn't used to be like that. Maybe my taste buds changed, maybe the food was undercooked. I'm not sure. Also they don't automatically give you sweet and sour sauce for the sweet and sour chicken. The size they do give you when asked is small and is barely any sauce at all. read more

Why do you people close 15 minutes early every single f ing night it's ridiculous for people to who get off at 8:30 pm and need to eat after work. Like either change your time online to 8:45 or get to making my goddamn beef and broccoli you idiots read more

I ordered from door dash because we are quarantined. I ordered $30 worth of food for 3 people in our house. I got 2 grilled teriyaki chicken entrees and there's not a drop of teriyaki sauce anywhere. They didn't give us any sauce at all. And then we paid extra for extra chow mein noodles and we got 2 things of rice and no noodles. This is the second time I have ordered and not gotten any sauce. None. So this time I called after ordering to ask the store to put the sauce in the bag or on the chicken and they picked up the phone and immediately put me on hold without saying a word (which is fine. I get it if they're busy.) but then they took me off of hold and set the phone maybe on the counter or something and walked away. For 10 minutes I was on hold like that before I gave up. Now my food is here and no sauce. No noodles. Store won't answer. Door dash gave me a $5 credit on a $34 order. I'm so disappointed ): read more

Let's try this garbage place out again tonight apparently they shut the grill down an hour before they close they lie to you about the cook time on the item that you want saying it would be 25 minutes to wait for the grilled teriyaki chicken when it's way less than that any other time I've been there and had to wait and then they say the grill is off an hour before they close read more

Been twice before and they never get your order right in drive thru. Came today and the lady ringing us up wiped her nose. Snot stringing from her nose to her hand as she's opening up the food to figure out what we ordered. Gross! This is the worse Panda Express I've ever been too in America. I've been to alot. Save yourself the disgust and money. Don't eat here. read more

Sadly as much as I love this place I can only give them 3 stars, sounds weird? Lol I love the food... ? YES! Service? Ummm.... it's lacking.... it's hit or miss... sometimes the servers come across like I'm doing them a favor for eating there.... hmmmmmm Not so good! But I digress... back to the food, most the food is very good, many times a few items were on the cold side, noodles almost always thus also the 3 stars... also many times you come expecting to see your favorite dish ready....Nope! Another pet peeve a majority of the time NO chop sticks??? What? Yeah! On the plus side the place is new and genuinely always clean! read more

The people at this Panda Express were so kind to both myself and my mother. The woman working there came over and made sure that we were enjoying our food and they were continuously cleaning after guests when they left. Very good service and very kind employees! read more

Stopped in for lunch, had never been here before. Got the plate, two entrees and a side. Got the orange chicken and a chicken roll with fried rice. Nephew got just orange chicken and fried rice. We both thought the fried rice was flavourless and had a strange oil taste. The orange chicken was ok, not crisp though because it's all made in advance and sits getting soggy. The chicken roll had a really strange flavour, only ate two bites. Not sure if it was just me, some strange seasoning that I am not use to. We won't be be back. read more

Stopped in for an early lunch with the family. Not bad for fast Chinese food. Items could have been hotter temperature wise. By the time we left the dining room was full. Everyone left full!! read more

I LOVE going here! it is delicious and the staff have always gone above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience.

The food was delectable but service was atrocious. We went through the drive thru and the girl was rude and just didn't seem like she wanted to be there. Just wont go to this one and take my business to the one on west rd. They treat you good and are very curious. read more

Even though it's called "Panda Express", what they offer isn't quite Chinese food. The food I received here looked as if it was prepared by a high school home ec class. The chicken looked like the deep fried chicken nuggets from the bar down the street. The vegetables looked old and limp and the egg rolls were stuffed with a mystery cabbage mix with some frozen vegetables added for color. I ordered some white rice with my meal and that was okay, hence the extra star. This simply isn't Chinese food? It's fried food served on some rice? There are much better options in Monroe? Lichee Gardens downtown has been there for at least 50 years and their food is phenomenal and consistent. I'm disappointed I even tried this place. read more

I was out and my girlfriend messaged me saying she stopped and got us some food at the Panda Express...sweet of her for sure as I have never tried this place before...it always made me wonder why there are very few cars in line there. My food consisted of 2 little egg rolls I would call them...something called Pepper Chicken i think it was called...and something that looked like LoMein. The chicken was tasteful....the egg rolls were just....ok sorta...and the LoMein was...wellllll.....again just ok...the fortune cookie was just fine!! :) Another place I think will fall by the wayside in the city of Monroe...replaced by another Pizza Pie joint!!! read more

Love Panda Express. We drive from Ypsilanti to find it. Always fresh and tasty. I had everything on the menu. Need the steak.

My husband and I don't usually eat Chinese but figured we swing through the Panda Express drive through and give the new place a shot. We checked the menu online and had our order picked out before we pulled up, as not to waste time at a new place. Unfortunately, we ended up waiting in line for about 20 minutes and didn't see any reason for the wait until the server took our order; we weren't allowed to place an actual order because they closed soon (we were in line 30 minutes before close) and they would only sell us what was already prepared. Now, I've never had Panda Express so I don't know if this customary and standard practice but it's very disappointing. We were ready to never go back but the late night left-over food was unfortunately (or fortunately) very tasty. read more

If you haven't tried Panda Express, you're missing out on some great Sweet & Sour Chicken with fried rice. They also have other meal choices & they offer different portions of all their meals. Sweet & Sour Chicken is not on the menu board, but they do have it. I didn't care for their egg rolls, they are made with chicken, I had to deduct a star for that. The drive thru is pretty quick except one time, I went when they were about to close & there was a long wait! But they were so nice about it that they gave me a card to get 10% off my next 5 meals! I recommend this place! read more

They where out of 5 different things and still had over an hour and a half till closing. Told the costumers behind myself they where not going to make any more either because it takes too long. Seriously how can a Chinese food place not have white rice. The store was also not the cleanest, trash cans full, wrappers and dirt all over the floor. read more

Portions were small. Did not include sweet and sour sauce with egg rolls, like what every other Asian restaurant includes by default. Also, confusing ordering system (see below). "May I have Kung Pao Chicken?" "What size?" Noticed the sizes, and I got the "plate" which is medium. "What side?" "Egg roll" "Egg roll is an entree, not a side. Side is fried rice, chow Mein." On what planet is an egg roll not a side?? Every Asian place I've been to, you don't just order egg rolls. "Fried rice I guess" "What entrees?" "I get two?" "Yes" "Egg rolls" "Both?" "Sure" Reads back and I notice the lack of mention of kung pao. "That's the kung pao meal?" "You want two orders of kung pao?" "No, just one" "So you want an extra egg roll?" "No. Kung pao meal, plate, fried rice and two egg rolls for my entrees." This goes on for a while. She finally figured out what I wanted. I get to the window, she asked if this is my order, and fails to mention the kung pao again. "With kung pao?" "Well yeah!" Why didn't she say so when she read it back??!! read more

Terrible! We had enjoyed Panda Express at other locations and were excited that this new store was opening near our home. Our first trip to the drive thru and they were out of some entree products at 6pm! We settled on ordering beef and broccoli for one of our entrees. We didnt get any sauces or plasticware in bag, unfriendly staff, and to top it off when we opened the meal with beef and broccoli, it didnt have one piece of meat! Just broccoli! There are better choices in Monroe so we will not go back. Sad that this new restaurant will not be here long due to poor quality! read more

Went through the drive-thru. I placed my order and paid for it. I was hungry but waited until I got home. I was not pleased they only gave me about 1/8 cup of the main entre. I'm very disappointed and won't be going back. Save your money. read more

My first and last visit to a Panda Express and I was very disappointed. I have never had such dry rice that it crunched. And the two entrees I got were tasteless. I felt the proportion of food to cost was way too high. They don't provide utensils or even a sauce. A sauce may have made the meal more palatable, but we'll never know. The employee in the drive through was very courteous and friendly but that is the only positive thing I can say. I was really looking forward to the opening of this business and now I think it was just a waste of space. read more

Panda Express, 1710 N. Telegraph Road, Monroe, MI 48162 (02/05/2018) Franchised Premium Chinese Food My wife had a taste for Chinese food so she decided to bring dinner home from this newest Nationally Franchised Chinese restaurant in Monroe, Michigan. If you have even experienced Mall Food Court Chinese this is similar! Servers work behind a cafeteria counter and dish up your order from vats of main courses and side dishes. Counter and serving areas were maintained in neat, clean and orderly fashion, if this was not true my wife would have turned around and left immediately! Waitstaff were pleasant, courteous and patient when explaining the ordering process. We appreciate restaurants that go to great lengths to give their customers a pleasant dinning experience. Each Entree included two sides. If you want egg roll or spring rolls they are extra. Our entrees consisted of: Honey Walnut Shrimp, Kung Pao Chicken, Orange Chicken and Mushroom Chicken. Sides included: Chow Mein Noodles, Mixed Vegetables and Steamed White Rice. Appetizers included; two Spring Rolls and one Egg Roll. My wife dropped $24 for this carry-out order but brought home enough food to easily feed 4 people. This would equate to about $6 per person which is a great price for dinner. You can't make it at home for this price! It is a far better choice than a Big Mac meal for over $6! We have to admit that virtually everything we ordered was delicious. The Panda's signature dish of honey walnut shrimp was over the top great! The orange chicken and mushroom chicken were fantastic and the Kung pal Chicken had small dried szechuan peppers throughout and was incredible. Even my wife loved it and she does not like spicy Chinese! The chow mein noodles were some of the finest as was the mixed vegetables and steamed white rice. The egg rolls were nothing we would order again. They seemed overly processed and probably frozen beforehand consisting mostly of cabbage making the texture inside overly dense and mushy and they were heavily seasoned with five spice powder giving them an unpleasant metallic flavor. The spring rolls were also unimpressive! As a note, we love egg rolls that contain all mung bean sprouts and nothing else. It is not that Panda Express has bad egg rolls and spring rolls! You should definitely give them a try, you may love them! Over all, Panda Express is a great place for Chinese. Not quite as good as the local Chinese Buffet, just down the street, but much cheaper and far better than any P.F. Chang's! We plan to try everything on the menu! read more

Went here about 2 months after they opened. Ordered just one simple "sweet & sour chicken" meal after looking at the poor excuse of a menu (very little to offer). Was asked to pull up and park as they were just making chicken, and it would be about 4-5 minutes or they would just give me a refund. No biggie. Fresh is always worth a wait. I sat there for over 20 minutes and ended up having to go inside and it still wasn't done. All I got was a "sorry" and free entree coupon that I had to buy another entree to use. Food was mediocre. Kind of bland and small portions for a Chinese joint. read more
