Not wasting my time anymore with this location. By far the slowest Panda Express I've been too. I've had way to many occasions that my order is wrong, they are out of something, wait 15 mins in the drive thru line, get to the window and tell me they are out or it will be another 5 minutes. I sure love teriyaki chicken without teriyaki. If you do decide to wait 10-15 mins for food, make sure to check everything before pulling away!! The food is good when it's open, why they post a 10:30 pm closing time baffles me. The first two times we've driven there around 9:30 pm they were closed, with workers cleaning. The third time I had the sense to call around 9:40 pm and no answer. Change the hours!!! They're misleading and driving halfway across town to be disappointed is frustrating. If you're looking for food after 9 pm don't head here, you'll just waste gas. Outside of the issue of their hours, the food is good; just like any other Panda Express. read more

I appreciate the fact that they sent a $10 card after the first review. While waiting for that we tried the exact same thing as the first visit. After receiving the card we went back tonight and ordered the same items again. We ordered the Noodles, Kung Pao, Broccoli Beef and Vegetables. Unfortunately all three visits were pretty much exact replicas of the others. The service is slow, employees are not very engaging, disconnect between the front staff and the cooks. All three times they were out of Kung Pao and we had to wait an inordinate amount of time for it. BTW, tonight there was nobody in line but there was one guy waiting at a table for his food and another waiting in his car for his. So the food itself was pretty much the same. Props to the vegetables for being al dente but on the mild side seasoning wise. Everything else was still not what we expect of those dishes. Now do I think they should taste the same as the places in China town in San Fran or Seattle? NO I do not. But the dishes just seem as one would expect from fast food Chinese, muddled and boring dishes. I wish it wasn't so and I didn't expect it to be great but that is the way the noodle bounces. I would rather pay the $7.50 or so at the local Chinese place for all you can eat vs this for $12.10. It actually blows me away how there came to be so many of these places. Panda Express - Fast Food Near Me - Missoula, Montana

This place needs help! I had never been to a panda express before they built this place and I went here when it first opened, I was not impressed and decided I didn't like panda express. Recently while I was in Phoenix Arizona I went to panda express with a friend because she wanted to go there, and found out that I love panda express! While I was in PhoenixI visited two different panda express locations, neither of these have a drive-through, which was not a big deal. Upon returning home to Missoula I decided to go try panda express in Missoula again. That is when I figured out why I thought I didn't like Panda express. This place is in bad shape, to begin with it's dirty, would somebody please clean the glass doors so that there are no greasy fingerprints all over them. Also how is it that you're out of two main entrées at 3 o'clock on a Saturday, the two panda express I visited in Phoenix constantly were refilling their entrées, in fact they were super fast about it because I waited for one. However in Missoula they just tell you they're out, how is that! Also I got mixed vegetables which consisted of broccoli and squash, no beans no carrots no cabbage, and the reason! You guessed it they were out of those other vegetables, however I did not know this until after I had ordered it and they cooked it, So it was mostly just a container of Broccoli, and I had to wait for that, they only cook vegetables to order, what's up with that! In Phoenix the vegetables are there and ready to go! Maybe they should close the drive-through if they can't manage both the inside and the drive-through. Because they need to get it together or they're going to be closing their doors permanently and it won't matter whether they're cleaned or not. I will not be visiting this panda express again, however when I go back to Arizona I will definitely visit those because their service and their food is fantastic, and their clean! read more

Get your freaking hours right! If it says 10:30 learn to tell time or change it. Your a fast food restaurant and all I care about is When you are open. Ive always been a big fan of Panda Express, however this location is slipping. lately the food has been alright. The rice is always undercooked and the flavoring on the noodles just isnt what it used to be. From several orders of getting home to open the bag to see sauce has completely soaked the inside of the bag and other containers of food. I dont ever recall having to ask for teriyaki sauce on the teriyaki chicken as they used to always give me a side. they must have stopped doing that for some reason. the teriyaki chicken doesnt even taste like teriyaki. Today i had a DoorDash delivery to work and the bigger plate was missing its 3rd entree, i have tried calling the store but they dont answer the phone. Dont know if the staff needs a re training or what but every experience is worst than the last. really am starting to feel like i dont want to waste my money here anymore. read more

I do enjoy having more chinese food options in Missoula Montana. The food at Panda Express is inexpensive & satisfies the fast food version of this cuazine. The problem that I have is the property is constantly a mess. I can only imagine how clean they are with our food & will not go back until something changes. For example; this summer when I visited, the weeds were almost as high as the drive up menu. I have attempted to revisit but trash was scattered across the parking lot & their trash area was open for everyone to see the disgusting mess inside. Now when I drive by this morning....they are watering the snow. Please at least ask this location to check their sprinklers, winter is coming! read more

I wish I could give a negative star. I went in today and they were out of vegetables as a side. I cannot eat the other sides for medical reasons. I ordered the bigger plate 3 entrees and an extra entree of teriyaki chicken with no sauce. The girls behind the counter COULD NOT grasp the concept that I couldn't eat their side dish options and therfore were going to charge me for 4 separate entrees(which is more money), instead of the bigger plate meal and 1 extra entree. So....if you have dietary restrictions, Panda Express in Missoula Montana will try and rip you off. I'M NEVER GOING BACK. Nice business practices you got there. Tonight was the third time we've been to this Panda Express. I remembered why we don't go very often while waiting in line. The way the place is run makes me cranky. Three employees talked in the drive thru area while one employee helped the family of five in front of us. She filled one persons order at a time until all five people had their food. Mean time the line behind us grew. When it was finally my turn to order two of the three entrees I was planning on ordering were empty. So I waited and only ordered 2 in stead of waiting for the third. The broccoli beef my husband was going to order never was refilled. The one cook that was working couldn't keep up. I think the way orders are filled needs to be changed in order to be more efficient and have more satisfying customer service. read more

Not very organized takes forever in the drive-through they are always out of their most popular items such as teriyaki chicken so if that's what you're going for be prepared for it to not be available. 9 out of 10 times I go here they are out of teriyaki chicken. Threw the to box in the trash and started slopping food on the plate. I told her the to go box was a pain to eat out of. Did not seem to matter to her. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Arguably the worst meal I'd ever had. The orange chicken was over cooked, and the food tasted far from fresh. The egg rolls were burnt and flavorless. This place just opened here and we decided to try it out. I ordered the big plate with 3 entrees and a side. I chose orange chicken, general tso, and kung pao with a fried rice side. The fried rice was pretty flavorless until you add other sauce(soy in my case) but the orange and general tso chicken were pretty good. The kung pao was not good, too many overcooked vegetables. This place is new to Missoula so expect long lines until the hype dies down. We went around 7pm and the line was about 30 minutes long inside. Drive thru was extremely busy too. For around 8 dollars, you can get a heap of decent chinese food here. Go with the orange or general tso chicken and you will be good to go. read more

By the looks of the other one stars there isn't much reason to speak out, but I wished this place would get better. Being a manager of panda years ago in Colorado, I know the expectations are really high while this place under performs. Seems like truck orders are low or suppliers screw them a lot or could be just lazy to make "special order" veggies and other things not only late at night, managers always having "meetings" in the lobby with DM's and other employees during rushes, and don't know how to send people "around" for big or confusing orders to get others through the drive thru line efficiently so I and everyone else don't have to wait for 30-40 minutes in a car... stuck. I know the town brings average workers, but maybe pay the managers more or something to get them to care more. Only thing that brings me back is the over portioning and being so close to my house and no other options. That being said, I will be back, but hopefully this will get fixed by then. read more

Extremely pissed off. Ordered the feast. Drove 45 mins home to Stevi only to find they did not put all 3 entrees in bag. Only 2. So I called. They asked if I wanted to come back and they would give me a free large entree. I told them first it it isn't free. I already paid for it and you didn't give it to me. First of this review is for this specific store, NOT the Panda Express chain. I love Panda Express i general, that being said I have been postponing writing a review for months in hopes that speaking with the manager MANY times would fix everything. (we eat at the restaurant 1 or more times per week since they opened here, we were waiting for them to come to town) Issues we have been dealing with since they opened and have never figured out. 1. Huge wait times... this seems to be getting better. 2. Out of what we want. Really? They need someone to manage the food supply better, this has been a major issue, noodles out, kung pao chicken, teriyaki chicken etc. We has to wait 20 minutes one time (even though it shouldn't take that long to cook) 3. Seems either management or owners of this store have a HUGE issue with food cost, they feel it is better to run out and piss customers off instead of making sure there is enough of each item. 4. Food consistency is very poor to this day. Have received Kung Pao Chicken with basically zero chicken, all veggies, no peanuts either. Sometimes no peppers at all, so VERY random. 5. Noodles have had the same issues, we went about a month ago and it was all cabbage and onion, almost no noodles...how is that even possible, I mean like 10% noodles, did they run out of noodles and tried to fake it with a bowl of cabbage and onion? - noodles also are sometimes extremely rubbery or dry. If done right I love them, but they can go from a 10 to a 1 very easy. 6. This store is typically give VERY low portions compared to the other Panda Expresses we have been to. Tonight we went and all was good except the insane low portions, got 3 item plate and it looked barely like a 2 item...how about the extra box the 3rd item comes in normally? Is Kung Pao Chicken a "premium" item? Especially like stated above sometimes your lucky to get much chicken and it varies soooo much. Maybe make it correctly and have it in stock before making it more valuable. Maybe win people over when you come to town instead of getting instant bad reviews, as seen here on Yelp. I wonder if they care about staying open honestly, it seems they don't "really" care about the customer here. They need to take a field trip to the one in Kalispell to see how it is done, I am more than happy to revise my review if they ever fix the problems. Panda Express is USUALLY a 5/5 for us. read more

While trying to get to the IHOP I had missed my turn and ended up in the Panda Express parking lot. My husband and I decided, "What the hell. We're here so let's give it a try." Unfamiliar with the place, we needed some time to look over the menu. The servers were really rushing us, despite the fact there was no one in line behind us. They kept asking what we wanted, while it was apparent we were still trying to decide. After hurriedly making our choices we sat down to our lunch. I had in front of me chow mein, black pepper chicken, Kung pao chicken, and mushroom chicken. My husband opted for the fried rice, broccoli beef, orange chicken, and Kung pao. My first observation was how oily and greasy EVERYTHING was. My chow mein was incredibly chewy and under cooked. The Kung pao had so many soggy overcooked vegetables and the flavor was not fresh at all. The mushroom chicken had a decent taste, but again, SO OILY. The black pepper chicken was also not fresh tasting at all. I really don't recommend eating here. The best part about the experience was when it was over...and also the fortune cookie. read more
