During one visit, while my family was dining, an employee repeatedly approached our table--six or more times--asking if we were "doing okay" and attempting to initiate conversation while we were actively eating and spending private family time. I eventually had to assert a firm but respectful boundary, asking to be left alone. On a separate occasion, this same employee later admitted that he felt "connected to our energy" and was hoping to connect with us personally. While I later chose to receive that disclosure with grace on a different day, the initial conduct was intrusive and crossed appropriate professional boundaries. The most serious and unacceptable incident occurred when my entire family suffered food poisoning after eating at this location, including a young child. This was not a minor inconvenience--it was a direct health consequence resulting from improper food handling and sanitation. We paid approximately $50 for that meal and were effectively poisoned. No financial compensation was offered. No meaningful customer care was provided. No accountability was taken. This constitutes a serious failure to meet basic health and safety standards. Despite these issues being brought to attention, management failed to address the situation adequately. The lack of response, remediation, or concern reflects a broader leadership problem. This establishment could do better and should do better, but that change must begin with competent management.
