This particular location had a pretty low rating, and I wasn't eager to go there-- but my kid insisted. Just before heading to this Chipotle, we weng into a Mom and Pop taco shop downtown, which looked like it had a very similar format and set up to that of a chipotle and seemed like it would be high-quality to me. However, she demanded chipotle. I drove out of my way to take her to this chipotle and, even though I didn't go inside, she got exactly what she wanted and seemed to really enjoy her meal. So, I have no complaints; food was good. I just didn't give five stars because I didn't go inside, and I feel like above-and-beyond (5 stars) is something I would have to be able to demonstrate with an example. read more

Love this place! Especially love that they have Mr. Pip extra in the fountain. Their food is made fresh in front of you all day long and they cook it fresh behind the counter and you can watch them cooking it so you know exactly what you were eating. This place needs to close. Let's start with our first encounter. We are first responders from out of the area and we frequently come into town for work and we were told to come here for dinner. We were told by a local that they support first responders and so we decided to go. When we check out, we asked if they had a first responders discount. They straight up laughed and said " Nope, only for cops". Well that was embarrassing. We sat down and ate. Our meals were soooo salty my partner couldn't even finish. Before we left we wanted to hit the restroom before we left but there was a tweaker in the bathroom for so long we just left. Few months later back in town and decided let's try it again. Absolutely will not be returning to this location. I've had Chipotle in nearly every state, and this was by far the worst experience. From the moment I walked in, the service was unwelcoming. The employee behind the counter barely acknowledged me, and when I pointed out that the fajita vegetables looked badly burned, she served them anyway--without even asking if I still wanted them. The person at the register just stared me down while I paid and didn't provide a receipt. As for the food itself--completely flavorless. The fajita vegetables, which usually add some depth, were overwhelmingly charred and bitter. My meal tasted like smoke and ash, with none of the freshness or seasoning I expect from Chipotle. Overall rating: Taste: 1/10 Burned vegetable flavor: 9.5/10 (not a compliment) This was my first and definitely last visit to this location. Male worker was aggressively chipping dirty ice out of the lettuce bin with my food sitting 4 inches away. Ice was flying everywhere, into my food, into his face, into the ingredients in the line. I asked him to pause chipping for two seconds while the girl finished putting salsa in my bowl. He said "sure" gave me a look and kept going??? And then made a face at her and shook his head like I was so annoying for not wanting filthy ice spraying into my food. I worked in food service for years (including chipotle) and know what a health code violation looks like. On a positive note, the two girls working with him were very sweet and had great customer service skills. Good food, fast service, and very clean to dine in. Their food is always fresh which I appreciate, and their prices are reasonable in comparison to similar food chains. While I really do enjoy their food, I wish their tortillas were house made like that of Cafe Rio. Instead, they used pre-packaged tortillas that take away from the taste a bit. Overall, you can get full on little money here which is always a plus for me. I suggest ordering a burrito bowl instead of a burrito. I love chipotle I have gone to plenty of chipotle across the us, but every time I come to this one they are careless with how they put your food together as in there's more food on the counter than in your bowl. They also never give you enough of anything especially the extras that you pay for like guacamole and queso they are also in so much of a rush all the time but yet somehow we wait in a line of three people for at least 15 minutes. The service sucks they are always so rude and it's nothing like another chipotle I've been to. Today was the last straw when I got a burrito and they just threw all the things on it I got guacamole and they gave me less than a half of a scoop, I really dislike paying extra for something especially when they don't even care to give you your fair share. Myself and a friend were there July one at about 8:30 PM. They were out of chips. They were out of pinto beans. They were out of cheese and one other thing I don't remember my friend had never been to a chipotle. I was so excited to take her there, I love chipotle And have always had a good experience however, this chipotle, everything was dirty and messy around where the food items are I understand running low on things late in the day however, while making my burrito, they asked if I wanted queso since they were out of cheese I said sure that would be great. He said it will be $1.70 More. I said, but you're out of cheese could you not just substitute the queso? He said no it's an inventory item and we have to account for it which house black beans and we really wanted pinto beans she had wanted chips but that's OK. We made a burrito. I find it very discouraging when you cannot Substitute something else when you are out of something that you should have in stock and in inventory very very disappointing. Regardless that is not what this review is about, this review is about TONE (Or I think it is TONI but my husband begs to differ). Some of the BEST customer services my spouse and I have ever received. There was a line and when hangry, my poor husband can contest, that my rbf and attitude is subpar at best. Can I just say what a refreshing experience this place was! Restroom was clean The crew was incredible. We have been driving cross country and decided to stop in Missoula before our final stretch home. We haven't had leave for a year and half so are very excited to get home! There is no rating on the door and its a mess. The blonde girl is the manager and she was prepping food in a mess of food all over the counter. Brandon was at the register and when I said that's weird that a Chilpolte gas no Guac he stated oh its because the ants are eating it and was laughing. I told him thats clearly not okay to say. When i purchased the order he slid it over to me with out a try or basket that were clearly in site so I grabbed on after he dlid my food order through all the food from other orders GROSS!!! I went in for lunch, and when I walked in to begin they were out of steak and I had to wait 5 minutes which was fine, next they were completely out of hot salsa at 3:30 in the afternoon, and finally I had a free chips and queso to redeem and I was told they were completely out of chips when in fact they were still giving chips to to go orders and I saw a whole rack sitting in the back, now this is not the first time this has happened, I have been told in previous times they were out of guac when in fact they were not it was just in the fridge or they had for to go orders, this is very disappointing to see this is continuously happening, and very hard to continue to frequent this establishment if every time I walk in I have to question if they are truly out of something or not. read more

This isn't a review; this is a manifesto. I've patroned this place enough times and extended the very limits of my grace to the point where I am no longer going to sequester my rage. I'm choosing the nuclear option for the Chipotle on Reserve Street. To say this particular Chipotle is the miscreant, stupid, child of a set of rich parents who care little about the continued reputational assaults is the most charitable statement I'm willing to cede. Time and time I've visited this location with each time feeling more flagrantly disappointed than the last. They are ALWAYS out of some ingredient. Which ingredient? It depends on what you are craving the most that day. Did you want extra guac on that bowl? Too bad loser, they're out. Did you just crave a tasty burrito and were even willing to mix and match fillings based on availability? Well guess what idiot, they don't have tortillas and haven't had them since 11am and it's now dinner rush. Or maybe you simply just need to mercifully run to the restroom after consuming too much tomatillo hot sauce. Too bad stinky pants, they're out of toilet paper you're just going to have to blast off in your britches. They hate you and they want you to know it. I've been charged for items I ordered but somehow never made it in the to-go bag. I've been informed that the chips were for online orders only and told I couldn't even log on to my app and order the chips I have so desired. If they do have chips, it's a toss up whether they're stale or not. The rice has a 35% chance of being crunchier than the chips. The queso is only for left-handed people. The drinks are only for migrating waterfowl. It's always something. I've never been to this location and not been angry when I've gotten home. This Chipotle location is single handedly responsible for shaving years off of the back end of my life. If I could sum up this location in one word (that isn't profane) it would be incorrigible. This place is irredeemably abysmal, incapable of improvement no matter how many chances you afford it. They have a sign in the backroom for all employees that reads "If you're not doing it wrong, you're not doing it right". And none of this matters. I can't make them pay for all of the anguish they've cost countless sorry souls like myself over the years. I can't make Big Chipotle feel it where it counts. Just like with the airlines we're all just going to sit there take it while asking politely for more because we don't have a choice. Well friends I'm here to say that I'm making my choice. Just came here today and was excited to eat here with my daughter. One of her favorite places to eat. At noon they were out of brown beans and barbacoa meat. I decided to just eat chips. I took two bags back and got new ones because they were stale. The next two bags you could bend the chips in half without breaking them. This place is horrible. Chipotle in general can be hit or miss sometimes but this one is so bad. We stopped by here on a road trip. For starters no one on the staff said anything about there being any issues with their rice. We ordered two bowls and one burrito. The two guys making our food were very nice and had good attitudes. The girl who cashed us out had the worst attitude. Anyways we went to eat and right away noticed our rice (white) was completely uncooked. It was inedible. We went to the front and let them know and they offered to remake one of our bowls but not the rest. So we had our kids food remade. The remake tasted the same. We asked for a manager and she told us that their white rice cooker hasn't been working so the rice hasn't been coming out completely cooked. They were well aware the rice wasn't cooked and were serving it anyways and not letting people know. That blew my mind. She then told us the brown rice "wasn't as bad" and she could get us a SIDE of brown rice for our troubles and to hopefully make it "taste better." We declined and asked for a refund as none of us ate our food. She refused and said she would refund ONE of our THREE meals and that's the best she could do. We threw away all three meals in front of her face and walked out to eat at chick fil a. We literally spent money on food we DIDNT eat and were refused a full refund.
