Came in and noticed right away the veggies were low and that is what I wanted. Right away the server asked if I wanted to wait for the fresh veggies which was cooking and should only take a few minutes. I told her that would be great. About 3 minutes later she had them out. The food and service was great. I asked for it to go. I was heading to a hotel about 30 minutes away. The food was still warm but the container they put it in now was very soft and floppy so I had to make sure it wasn't going to fold up. Also, no napkins in my bag. No biggie but when something is to go they should put some in. read more

7 employees working behind the line. No one greeted us . No one smiled. After a little time and a line forming behind us we were finally asked "what can I get you". Food was subpar at this location. This has not been our experience at different locations. read more

I'm allergic to shellfish, they have warnings posted and all that. However I eat at many many restaurants that serve shellfish without any issues. I got sick here twice, the third time didn't happen because I watched their staff use the same serving spoon for beef, chicken, and shrimp for the people ahead of me. I just got out of the line I had been waiting in, and left. If you're allergic to shellfish or vegan/vegetarian skip this place you're definitely getting a little of everything. read more

Bug in food and incompetent workers. After finding a bug in my super veggies the girl at the counter (I believe he name started with a "Y") seemed not shocked and had very little reaction. She said she would remake it at after the third time repeating the order I thought I would wait for my meal. More than 15 minutes later in an almost empty restaurant still no food, I go to ask for a refund and she had fully forgotten the incident. Another 10 minutes all of them scrambling like chickens with their head cut off I finally got my refund leaving annoyed and ignored. Save yourself the trouble and possible poisoning and go to Chipotle instead read more

Inconsistent. When I ordered online took 20 minutes longer than it said it would. This place no longer has black pepper chicken. They don't have fresh black tea unsweetened. Maybe the drive-through window is faster, even with the continuous long line. read more

I've gone to the Medford Panda Express quite a few times since 2018. All other times it was good but tonight was totally unacceptable. We went just last month and it was good. The Sweet Fire Chicken was NOT Sweet Fire Chicken. It was like they put some orange chicken in sweet fire sauce and called it sweet fire. On top of that it was crunchy like a potato chip, not joking. Totally over cooked. The noodles were cut up to about 2 to 3 inches long, not the normal long soft noodles. And tasted like they were three days old. They were grey, not golden. My daughter wants to make sure I mention the dark grey boogery bits that looked like lint in the noodles. My wife wanted to go to In 'N Out but my daughter and I wanted Panda. What a mistake. 09/02/2023. Update - on 9/6/2023, manager gave me replacement meals. The restaurant had a full complement of employees and the food is what I expect from Panda, very good. Not sure what was going on the night of the bad food but I'm still going to eat there since they made good on the food. Of all the times I've gone to Panda at many locations I've only had this one bad experience. read more

Backed up line of cars that moved very slow. I ordered my two entrees and was told one of the entrees was still cooking, would I like to switch? Said "Yes, please" . Switched out my entree #1 to my # 3 choice . When I got to the window I was told my #2 entree choice was also still cooking. They asked if I wanted my order (which is a pretty weird question) and I said, "No, I'm hungry." I was asked if I wanted to switch my #2 entree to my #4 choice and I said "No, thanks." I was told I would have to wait. OK fine. I only had a $20 in my pocket and they didn't have enough cash and coin to make my change. Swell. I pulled in front and waited and waited. Finally got my sack, got home after a 35 minute ordeal, opened the sack. They gave me somebody else's order. Personally, I probably won't be back for another, oh, 75 to a hundred years. read more

While not perfect every time they've stepped up their performance markedly. Serving sizes are inconsistent but quality is way, way up. Most of the servers are friendly. Some not as much as others, but it is really about the food. I've been back multiple times now and each time it's between 60-80%. Not quite four stars yet but about 3.75 regularly. read more

It's Panda! What really made me write this review is that they use paper shells instead of styrofoam for the plate size meal - that's AWESOME!! It's not the case with all Panda's - so I commend the owner on this amazing choice. I appreciate it. The bowls are still plastic - but any Drive thru that uses less plastic is a win!! Someday I hope the bowls go paper too. read more

I'm sitting outside a Panda Express waiting for my order it's been 25 minutes the manager was rude and then I watched an employee open a packet of product with his mouth and then continue cooking I'm so grossed out I don't even know if I want my meal now I'm in Medford Oregon I'm just totally disgusted I went to the drive-thru and they're always out of everything and now he opened product with his mouth and no gloves either I'm disgusted read more

I've been to this location a couple times, and each time is the same. Old, dry food and rude, young people working. I asked if I could get fresh egg rolls because the ones sitting there were quite dark. The gal working said they were supposed to look like. I've never had any that dark in color. I'm trying to choke down my noodles, but they are dry, like they've been sitting too long. So much grease in the bottom of the well holding my Kung Pal chicken. The larger pieces of sweet fire chicken have some good chicken, but the smaller pieces are rocks. I can't believe food is this bad at 5:30 in the evening. I expect fresh food due to it being dinnertime. This may be our last visit to Panda. read more

I don't even want to give a star. The worst experience ever! It was like I was in the Twilight Zone! Went through the Drive thru and was told to drive around and they would bring out my order in 10 minutes. Waited 20 and nobody came out. I went in and asked what was going on and they just asked what my order was said sorry for the wait and turned around and I thought they started preparing my order that they forgot. I was wrong. They still hadn't started cooking it! I then asked for my money back and Ozzy could care less! It was so beyond strange and at 9:45 at night he said have a nice day!! I was being totally patient. Not ever going back there again read more

Usually Panda Express is our go-to on the road food. I order the green bean chicken entree with fried rice. I was amazed? intrigued? nah, just disappointed by the small amount of chicken and green beans. The taste was good, but the portion was 4 bite size pieces of chicken and approx. 10 green beans. Really? So disappointing. The Bakersfield Panda Express is waaay more generous. Will probably go back to eating at Fred Meyers if we go end up stopping in Medford. read more

This Panda rocks it out of the park. Fast drive through, good prices, and made sure the condiments where with order.

I came in around 6:30 on a Friday night, I usually go to the Delta Waters location, but it was more convenient to come in to the alternate location in S. Medford. My main reason for going to Panda Express is always for the honey walnut shrimp. I enjoy the fried tempura and the crisp glaze that finishes the shrimp in a wok. They were out of shrimp, but they explained it will be ready in a few minutes and I agreed to wait. I observed the gentleman who was making the dish, and noticed he very briefly let the shrimp be in the wok before plating (it was less than 5 seconds). I still ordered what he made, as well as the orange chicken and fried rice, took it to go. As I feared, the tempura was lacking the flavor I'm always looking for, tempura felt soggy. The orange chicken I was given was only little nuggets, none bigger in diameter than a nickel. The fried rice was dry and pale, and lacked the soy it needed to not be where it should. There were lumps of white rice scattered throughout. Overall, worst experience I've had at any grab and go Chinese restaurant. I strongly recommend hitting up the N. Medford location if it's convenient. Friendly staff, excellently executed food, and great atmosphere. read more

I realize that this is a fast food restaurant so I don't expect to receive any special treatment or upscale food when I visit a Panda; however this Panda was a lukewarm mess...notice I did not say HOT mess. We pulled up to the drive thru and the speaker asked me if I wanted to try the new spare ribs, I said yes and she asked me if I wanted a three entree plate...yes again. I told her I wanted all chow mein and walnut shrimp. She then told me I needed to wait for a minute. So I sat in the drive thru for about ten minutes and the girl comes back on the speaker and asks "what can I get for you today? " My husband told her we were in the middle of our order when SHE told us to wait. "Oh okay". I said spring rolls and kung pao chicken would complete the order, but could she please add teriyaki/mandarin sauce. Ok. Then I noticed my spare ribs were not listed on the order..."you'll get them". We paid and drove back around the corner to our hotel (literally three minutes away). I opened my bag (my fault for not checking there) and I had no napkins, no fork to eat with, 1/2 a serving of chow mein instead of a whole one, and sweet and sour sauce. To top it off my food was cold. Save yourself the trouble of eating chow mein with your hands and go somewhere else because this place sucks. read more

This is the worst panda express food I've tasted. I was very disappointed. The teriyaki chicken was dry. I asked for sauce on the chicken and on the side and just got it on the side. The orange chicken was hard and had black burnt marks on it from when you don't clean the skillet. Won't be going here again. read more

I pre ordered the family meal online and when i showed up to pick it up I was met with very poor service. 3 employees stood around talking while I stood at the counter for several minutes before a cook finally asked if I had an order. Got home and pulled out the egg roll and it was almost black, I can't believe they actually sent that home with us. They need a new staff! read more

Panda Express - Doesn't look very appetizing! - Chinese Near Me - Medford, Oregon

We come here often, the past 3 times the portions are small and tastes different every time. Our orange chicken had a rock like and was extremely spicy. The teriyaki chicken was over cooked and hard. The last time we went we called the manager because there was no orange chicken so I asked when it would be ready and the server said 10 minutes. Ten minutes later I come back but there is no rice and I see the manager scooping what's left of a burnt onto a pan from the drive-thru side being put into the empty container. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice shame on me. We won't be coming back read more

WORST FAST-FOOD EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my f***ing GOD! How can one fast-food restaurant screw up our order not once, not twice, but three times? We ordered all noodles, orange chicken and teriyaki chicken - NOT A HARD ORDER by any means. We got our food home 3 times and it was WRONG! I asked for the regional managers name and phone number and could not get it. Why not? When you screw up the customers' order 3 times you should provide that information! This location has been horrid the whole time they've been in Medford and the employees don't give a crap. read more

Came for lunch today. It was just after 12pm, there was only one person in front of me. When I got to the counter, the last of the Honey Walnut Shrimp was dished out. I asked how long it would be for a fresh batch. The girl said just one or two minutes. I proceeded to order the rest of my plate, and after she offered me a sample of another dish, the shrimp was ready. It was s pleasant visit, not my first to this location. The only downside is the dining room is a bit small. I like more room when I eat. But other than that, friendly, clean, and good food. read more

For the second time this month (November 2020) I went thru drive thru. Because of pandemic, no one is allowed to enter this location. I give my order and they hand it out through the window. I get home and find the portions REALLY skimpy. This is the SECOND time that this has happened. The strange thing is that - this time - I said, "could you please make sure you give me a full portion? Last time I think I got cheated a little." Ummmm -I think they actually punished me for that comment. The portions were tiny. I will never go there again. The Delta Waters location gives generous portions - because - of course - you watch them put it on your plate. - Kaye P. read more

I come to this Panda Express because it's close to home and a fairly convenient location. I usually go the drive through, but today we ate inside. All the food was fresh and there were no dry old looking selections. So we got Kung pao chicken and noodle chow mein. It was hot and spicy. The employees are all young and just seem indifferent- not particularly friendly, just basically asking what we want and putting it in the container. The restaurant is clean, the utensils and condiments were all full. So- decent overall. If the employees would have just had a smile and maybe a bit of personality then I would've given them all the stars- but not this time. It's not hard to teach a staff to smile and be friendly- so maybe next time they might improve. read more

I love this place, my family of 7 eat there typically once a week or so. However, the portions have CHANGED! Way smaller. I understand where in the middle of a pandemic, and the drive thru is the only option right now but the wait is ridiculous! To just get 5 minutes down the road to sit down and eat and your food be cold. We visited from out of town and chose this place because the kids wanted it but...... bad decision. First they had 20 people working but really just sitting around eating and talking. We were totally ignored by every single staff member but had to stay because we ordered using the app and had to prepay. Once we recieved our order everything was dry and tasted days old, we didn't received the sauces we requested and to top it off the shrimp meals were very skippy giving us 3 shrimp and a few veggies, I mentioned this because the shrimp was an upcharge and very disappointing. Thankfully we never have to visit this horrible place again. read more
