Where do I start... came in to get a quick meal for the kids and tried to sit down, but ALL the tables were filthy along with the floor. I kindly asked if they could do a wipe down b/c we had no table to sit in bc they were ALL dirty. She said she would and headed over to wipe down the table, but her idea of wipe down was throw the food that's on table to floor, and the table was STILL dirty. I asked for the rag bc she just walked away and continued wiping the other tables. I told her excuse me but can I borrow that rag, the table is very dirty still you didn't wipe off the food. She came back and said oh sorry I was on break and nobody cleaned the tables and rushed off saying she had to help in the back. I said, but all these people won't have anywhere to sit, and the floor is full of food and you want us to sit here? It's okay we will have to take our food to go then. Then we went to the Hawaiian place to order something just so we can eat there. The panda food was cold and the rice and noodles hard as a rock and dry and the veggies in the meat plate raw ‍. The chicle was dry and my kid could not eat it. This place needs to be shut down. I saw the bathroom definitely needs a surprise visit from health inspection. I might have to report this place. If the bathroom & dining are that bad how must the kitchen be? Health risk, Don't eat here. Not until it's got better management or what not. I want my money back that's how I feel. read more

I would say one word HYGIENE !! the girl who was cleaning the tables she left all table tops wet (soaked) and not clean, I cleaned it with a napkin and the napkin was all dirty. Went in 2 hours before closing time and was told that the chowmain they had out was the last batch for the night I looked at the chow mein and it was literally small pieces of noodle with a bunch of cabbage I asked how it's possible that that is the last batch if they are still 2 hours away from closing was told that that is all they have. On 08/08/2015 Sunday afternoon around 6:30pm I went in to one of Panda's Express restaurants located at 2130 Daniels Street in Manteca, CA. It practically took me 15 Minutes to order. It seemed as though the restaurant was short on staff that day. So I ordered a 2 plate entree with vegetables with teriyaki chicken and chicken mushroom. I noticed there was not any vegetables and the worker there said that they would be up soon. I payed for the food, sat and waited for my order. As I am sitting, I notice other customers receiving their food promptly and as ordered. So I waited patiently and assumed the vegetables were in process of cooking. After 30 minutes of waiting I impatiently got up and asked the manager Karin what was the hold up with my order. I saw her instruct the chef that customers are waiting for vegetables and I noticed he was just barely preparing the vegetables. Are you kidding me......! Waiting a full 30 minutes plus the 15 minutes waited to order and the chef just now started making the vegetables. That infuriated me. It is irresponsible and no lack of management. The restaurant itself was filthy as I had to sit on a dirty table and floor while waiting for my food. So when the vegetables were ready, guess what happened next. The food they served for me on standby was on the counter away from the heat lamps while waiting for vegetables. After the vegetables were done, one of the workers proceeded in serving the vegetables to the same food which would be my plate of teriyaki chicken and mushroom chicken waiting on stan-by. Unbelievable. I guess the workers figured It would be ok with me eating cold chicken and hot vegetables. I asked if they can please serve me another plate since the stan-by plate was cold and the manager agreed. Well, guess what. NO Teriyaki Chicken. I you kidding me. At that point I just wanted to get out of the restaurant so I asked to refund my money. The worker at the cashier had know idea how to refund. It was soo un-convenient and discouraging. Very displeased and as I walked out and calmed down. I did not know what to think. What upset me most is the manager did not seem to care of the disfunction in the restaurant and did nothing about it other than give me the refund and rush me off. The cooks at this particular Panda Express are extremely lazy and dirty! They keep refilling the same serving dish from the steam table over and over again... all day long! They probably do this to save themselves the work of washing dishes, so this may be more of an understaffing issue, but nonetheless, it is disgusting. I have been here many times and not once have I ever seen them serve food in a clean dish or use a clean serving spoon, as they do at any other Panda Express. My last visit was the last straw. The fried rice I had was sour. This was probably due to the same old serving tray being refilled so many times that the old rice at the bottom was going sour from being down there so long. Also, the server didn't have a spoon for the broccoli beef so she pulled a dirty spoon out from under the steam table and served my food with this dirty, used spoon. Who knows how long that spoon had been down there, since the sauce was all dried and crusty. Nasty! read more

So, where to start... My wife my son and I went out to grab Chinese food fast before we settled in for the evening on 5/26. We went into this location and it was semi-busy so we were not surprised they were cooking and out or nearly out of a few popular items. We ordered our usual order. Jocelyn who right off the bat told us they had run out of white rice struck me as someone having a bad day but I dismissed that and we continued to order. My wife and I almost always have the same thing chow mein with Bejing beef and orange chicken. Both of these items were nearly empty so instead of asking us if we wanted more Jocelyn tried to split a half portion between both of our orders before I spoke up and let you know we were happy to wait for more food. She sighs makes no eye contact and drops the serving spoon and turns around. This is where the story gets good.... While trying to help the other person making dishes she drops some meat and vegetables on the ground look to her left and her right then bends down scoops it up with her hand and tosses it back into the cooking pan! ( I really hope she is new because of floor food...) I clearly saw her and call out her name and ask her why she put food from the floor back into the pan. She turns around and says well it's still cooking so it won't hurt you... At this point I'm pretty much done with Jocelyn and this whole adventure so I request a refund she comes over to me and says "don't be fing ridiculous its one piece of meat." I explain that though it "won't hurt me" I did not pay to eat food off the floor. She then gets a bigger attitude tells me off some more ( why bother including that) So I reached out to corporate and am waiting for a response but I would also like to see this franchise owner take some responsibility so here I am. read more

Sorry, but we've recently dined at a few different Panda Express Restaurants and they've all been terrible! We used to really enjoy the tasty food, but lately, every time we go, (and we've tried different ones, in an attempt to give the company the benefit of doubt), We've been very disappointed. The rice is dry, the egg rolls and spring rolls are over cooked and everything pretty much tastes the same; broccoli beef, chicken chow mein... it all tastes the same. Excellent service and excellent food. Just be prepared to wait in line for 20 mins. If there are more then 2 or 3 people in front of you your going to be standing there for a while. They are very nice and the food is great but they move very slow. So if you don't mind the wait then you shouldn't have any issue. read more

First time to eat on this branch of Panda Express. I ordered mushroom chicken and chowmein and my wife ordered the walnut shrimp with chowmein. My stomach got upset because everything is SUPER GREASY especially the chowmein. Literally the oil was like dripping from your food. I live in Tracy, CA and the Panda Express here in Tracy is not like that. Probably the cook here in Tracy knows better and cook better. My wife and I went there to grab some lunch. I did not wear a mask due to having asthma attacks, although I do maintain social distancing when out in public. I was in the restaurant for approximately 10 minutes with no mask on. I had my wife put the order in to maintain social distancing. After the lady taking our order got both of our plates done, she asked me to wear a mask. I told her that I can't because I can't breathe and have asthma. She just told me again, "you have to wear a mask." I also pointed out that one of the other cooks was not even wearing her mask properly covering her face, yet she was asking me to wear a mask when I told her I have asthma. I felt disrespected and that they had complete disregard for my health as I have asthma. I attempted to call the corporate office, but wasn't able to get through. No Stars as this won't post anyway. Why would you always ask a customer that it's a dollar more to some of your Beef/Shrimp dishes when we already know as we've been repeat customers? It's annoying, Why don't you just add the dollar to your menu price list instead of asking us repeatedly every time we come in? And then at the cash register, we would again be asked if we wanted to donate to a certain charity. Hello...we went there to eat...not to donate! If we could just donate instead the "additional dollar for the beef/shrimp" we were charged for, we would gladly do so! Deal? I just tell "I already donated" just to expedite the process so I can eat my food peacefully. Plus the portions you give are "stingy", not appropriate for us Americans who are used to "piling it up" portions compared to other Chinese Deli to-go. Just my honest opinion. I was in the mood for Chinese Food. There was a solid line to the door. The service was fast. The staff was friendly as friendly as you can be with a rapid line increasing with every minute. I tried the Sweet Fire Chicken and the eggplant with Tofu. Happy with the chicken but the eggplant dish tasted like it was under the hot lights for too long. Dry and a bit hard for my taste. The service is hit or miss. Some of there workers are really nice and another half don't know nothing about CUSTOMER SERVICE. The manager needs to pay a little more attention on how there workers treat the customers. The food is typical Panda Express... if you like Panda Express, this place is just about the same. The food was tasty and seemingly fresh... no complaints there. The service was friendly, but I've docked a star for speed. This place was inexcusably slow. As far as the restaurant itself, it really needed a good cleanup. It was quite a mess... food and trash all over the floor. A 5 minute sweep job would have made a huge difference. My sister, her 4 year old son, and myself all have food poisoning from this establishment. I tried contacting them just to inform them that we got sick and to look into what it could be. The server offered a free sample. I tried the new steak item, and although I really liked it, I chose 2 chicken choices. I choose fresh vegetables as the side dish, vs. rice, based on calories. The food was excellent. It had just the right amount of spices. My food was very fresh, appropriately crunchy. I felt the meal was value for my money.
