Several times now, delivery orders never include the drinks we ordered!!!! And no one will answer the phone!!!

Too many people behind the counter. Food was barely warm. After reading other reviews, I see I'm not the only person reporting food is not hot. I'm unable to believe the health dept hasn't been notified of this issue. Dining area was so cold we had to keep our winter jackets on to eat. Dining area was a mess with only 0ne person trying to clean and take out garbage, (through the front door), while at least 4 people behind the counter goofing off. At least 'look' busy, wipe counters, help in the dining area. Panda Express in Machesney Park is a disgrace to the chain. We won't be returning to this location. read more

I would only order inside the store where I could see the food being prepared and have it made for me as that is the only way you can ensure that you will get what you were hoping for. This picture looks all right but what's missing; there's no Beijing beef here it's all grizzle and sauce it looks like there's a lot but there's nothing. The shrimp was all right just no walnuts and that's in the name and then when I ask them about it they're like oh we only put a little bit on there and it's like wow this is not how I remember ordering. I got teriyaki chicken all fat lukewarm no teriyaki sauce on the side like I asked no sweet-and-sour sauce with my veggie spring rolls. They didn't even have Coca-Cola in the bottle or you know it's gonna be good quality instead they gave me crappy Coca-Cola that's been cut with too much water so that said I would never order anything from this panda express again. These sort of key mistakes I assume are trickle down effect from management. It's a little things that count because when all these little things add up you have a complete disaster and you get crap instead of the good stuff they gave you in the past. They're just like petty thugs I like to rip you off; Lots of places are becoming like this. read more

Absolutely terrible experience. Did an online pickup order for 8:15pm. Got there at 8:17 and Jacob told me there is no order. I showed him the receipt and told me we don't have any of the food ready. Then he told me im gonna have to wait and deal with it in the absolute worst attitude possible. Proceded to storm off and completely ignore me. I had to get a manager to complete my order 20 mins later. Not a good experience at all. read more

Easy cheap american made chinese food that is better than most fast food places in the area. Service has always been worth the wait if any. Glad they are part of the community. read more

Good experience for the price. I had never been ordered at a Panda Express before. I was curious, hungry, and decided to visit. The food portions are fit for the price. The food tasted like how I expected. It's not as fresh as a sit-down Chinese restaurant but that's expected with fast food. The store is a little dirty but I don't mind. Since I had never been to a Panda Express before, the staff helped guide me through the ordering process. I feared what I was getting into from looking at other's reviews but overall I had a pretty pleasant experience. If I'm ever in the mood for Chinese food again and have a time constraint, I will definitely visit again. read more

I haven't even taken a bite! I asked for half noodles and half rice and this is what I got. Almost no noodles, it was all cabbage. I don't have teeth can't eat cabbage. Also wanted teriyaki chicken, nope! Nothing like spending money to throw it out!!! read more

I tried going through the drive thru quick before my daughter's dance class. First, I tried ordering bottled water. No bottled water. Everything else at the screen went fine. Paid for my food then was told to pull up because they had to make chow mein. 20 minutes later still no food. I ended up going inside and there's plenty of chow mein flowing. Not to mention I counted at least 8 people working there. If you're not competent enough to run a drive through don't have one. Will not be visiting this location again read more

I've ordered from this location multiple times. Never had an issue until now. Currently stuck at home due to doctors orders. Ordered food from here through grubhub to be delivered. Obviously couldn't see who was handling my food. But here I am, almost 24 hours later, sick to my stomach. This was the only thing I had to eat yesterday. Someone obviously didn't wash their hands or there was some sort of cross contamination. WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC! WASH YOUR HANDS AND WATCH FOR CROSS CONTAMINATION read more

Order was wrong. ZERO orange chicken in my sons entree box. I repeated 4 times, double chowmein and orange chicken. I paid $8 for CHOW MEIN ONLY!! My string bean chicken was inedible. I got what was left on the bottom of the pan. It was burnt and gross. I am really upset. And will not be returning to this location. I've had more problems here than any other. The lady that helped me tonight was very rude. Just tired of them being so unfriendly and obvious about hating their job. Spent $33.75, and most of it was trash. AI J, nothing in my DM.,,, read more

I know the sign says Chinese food but in reality it is not. Protein quality is abhorrent. Rice and noodles are always cold. They will not allow any special requests like hold the onions or adding extra anything. I believe it's because food is not actually prepared in house. They merely warm up bags of different dishes and then serve them. Service is usually slow with many people waiting in line (only God knows why). We've since switched to a locally owned business and haven't missed this fake Chinese restaurant. read more

I've been to many Panda's, I do not notice a difference. I ordered orange chicken with white rice. The worker gave me double rice without me asking and argued about it. I wanted two servings of orange chicken. Since when is rice a side? And I didn't ask for extra. I gave up. Customer service lacks, the chicken was not fresh...it was hard and had been sitting awhile. I give it three stars because, I still love their orange chicken, even unfresh. read more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Never been talked to so rudely as today.

long black hair in my food (second time within 2 months ) DISGUSTING!!! always missing things from my order, Made me come out of the drive-through to use the card machine inside instead of walking over and using it themselves... Always running out of things, dirty tables dirty floors, teriyaki sauce not made by lunchtime, Will go out of my way to avoid this location. read more

Just got back from Panda Express. Not happy. Don't come here if you want a decent edible meal. Workers seem to have the iq of a 3rd grader. Forgot my drink and mixed up both of my meals. Not coming back! read more

I went into panda express today and was greated with a smile and positive attitude. The young ladies name tag said izzy. She was very friendly. The food was great. Basically a Chinese semi-buffet with food sitting a long time, and you order a meal. The servers give you what you order to eat there, or take home. Slightly quicker than ordering from a regular Chinese take-out place (one just down the road by US-2). Not a buffet, like the Hibachi Grill, a couple of blocks west, and only slightly cheaper. The sign says "Chinese Gourmet Food", which is a severe stretch of advertising hyperbole. Another chain restaurant. With two other Chinese places within 1/4 mile, why bother? read more

I went there and had horrible service. One time I went through the drive through and I told them not to round up my total when they asked if I wanted to donate and they did it anyways! Another time I was waited on by a girl named Megan who had a horrible attitude towards customers. Other than that the food was decent. But I will not go back after the poor service I've had. read more

The food is passable. The reason that we will not come back is simple. When you order, you are asked to donate a dollar. If you say no, then you are asked to "round up." I always say no, but sometimes still get charged the "donation." This is just theft. read more

Sometimes the food here is good and sometimes it's not. I've found out that if I go through the drive-thru the food is a little on the cold side. It's better if you go inside and eat. Always friendly service and fast food. For the money the food has always been very good. Decent portions and I love the fresh vegetables and also the fact that when I order I can see the calorie intake I am consuming. Wish the string bean chicken had more chicken in it. At times it has an abundance but when it gets down to last serving it seems to lack chicken and they serve it anyway. New Firecracker chicken is now my favorite and I hope they keep it. One complaint I have is their tables are always dirty no matter what time of day you come in the store. I frequent this location at least 3 to 4 times a week and it never matters, tables are dirty. Until the tables are clean my rating stands where it is. read more

Panda Express - They have a Flat Screen. - Chinese Near Me - Machesney Park, Illinois

For those who do not get out of a 3 mile radius much, Panda is a pretty well known chain that is remarkably consistent regardless of location. My standard selection is a 2 entree plate, though I'd swear, getting it in a to go box results in more food Pros -Its going to be better than most fast food options out there both in quality and healthiness -Always loved the selections of sides whether it be veggies or rice. I'm more partial to brown rice. I know they do chow mien, but I've never gotten it -Never had any kind of issue with the service and most of the time drive thru turnaround is acceptable Cons -I've always felt like I've wanted a "little more" out of their entree selections. Options in my opinion feel too similar -Premium options are sold at a higher price. Normally I can deal with that, but with the fewer options I find it very annoying. -Speaking of annoying, if I order a double of any entree, they usually won't have enough resulting in a wait. It's petty on my part, but still a real gripe Bottom line: I've always considered Panda the school lunch option of fast food Chinese, even compared to Happy Wok. I've never had a bad experience so this falls into a good but a great lunch option if you want something simple. read more
