This panda is okay. I've had better. This one usually has a long line, and the workers keep it moving. It's a popular dining choice. The servers were nice also. I went here recently and got a plate with walnut shrimp and orange chicken with steamed rice and a chicken egg roll. I also got a small drink, and was told there is no free refills on small sized drinks. If you order medium or large, refills are free, which I think is BS. The rice again tasted like 2 day old rice and was dry and crusty. I would not trust it. I got 1 tiny scoop of shrimp and a slightly bigger scoop of the chicken. Both tasted okay. The chicken was actually decent. There is plenty of seating in front of the shop, but keep in mind the dining area is shared with other shops. I'm giving this Panda Express a good but not great rating. The food, service, and prices were acceptable, but not memorable. There was a bit of a line when I arrived, but only three employees working. One was cooking, one was preparing orders, and one cashiering, so they seemed a little overwhelmed. It slowed things down for customers waiting to place an order. Some of the food, like the shrimp, looked kinda tired and dried out. Sort of like a Palm Springs retiree who spends too much time out in the sun by the pool. Besides the old drived looking shrip, there was some broccoli beef, and tray after tray of chicken dishes. I literally looked up and down the steam table and thought to myself chicken, chicken, chicken, and more chicken. It was like I made a wrong turn and stopped at a "Chicken Express" instead of Panda Express there was so much poultry on the menu. I wasn't in the mood for broccoli beef, so I tried the mushroom chicken and another chicken dish made with oragnes. Along with some fried rice and chow mein on the side. The food didn't have that fresh plump feel of a meal hot off the grill. It was more like something old and limp, kind of like an elderly person who moved out to Palm Springs for their arthritis. We just got the family feast, 2 large sides and 3 large entrees! I mean where else can you get food that feeds a family of 5 for $40?! Nowhere! My son loves orange chicken, I wanted the walnut shrimp and my husband wanted the broccoli beef.. everything was delicious. the beef was soft and not as chewy as some Panda Express.. the shrimp was yummy and not soggy, the orange chicken seemed a bit more spicy than yesterday (yes our second day getting the orange chicken for my son lol). The food court is great for casino fast food service, especially when cafeteria line visuals are available. We have been here a few times now and are happy with the service, food and environment. I decided to try Panda express again given the limited options they have in the food court at Thunder Valley. They have plenty of seatings all around the food court. Not much to describe on the ambiance since the foodcourt is located inside the casino and surrounded with slot machines. I ordered the two entree and one side with half fried rice and chow mein. For the entrees I ordered the sizzling shrimp and kung pai chicken. The chow mein tasted above average however the fried rice tasted too dry. The rice was also all clumped up together and tasted more like sticky rice than fried rice. I am impressed on how they did the kung pao chicken. The chicken was perfectly cooked (not dry at all) and flavoring was perfect and met my expectation. They included a bunch of vegetables with the kung pao chicken which I liked because the majority of the entrees did not really have any vegetables. The sizzling shrimp was not sizzling but tasted decent. Overall I do not have high expectation for food at Panda express but I am very impressed with the kung pao chicken here. read more

I was in line debating what to get and had been seeing the lady, name is Maria (I think) was very generous with the portions so I was like, ok ill do half and half too since it's a lot... but it was my turn and it was totally different... I even questioned like, that's the bigger plate portion? She said regular plate. I said oh ok cuz I asked for the bigger plate and she just asked me what other entree I wanted. Not at all like any other Panda. They pile high with the rice and noddles, even spilling over into the small portions of the container where my entrees should go. I got maybe a 1/2 a cup of each entree. I stay at thunder valley alot. So I'm a usual at Panda. I've been to many everywhere. I got in line at 1125. Knowing they close at 12. I got to the front at about 1140. All the food was gone. So I waited for 15 mins for my options of white rice. Some chow mein and Kung Pao chicken. If I known the food would ran out I would of just got in line somewhere else. Which I love....well when I am able to drop a fee coins, well let's allowed. So what I liked about this particular was that the people seemed nice, especially this one guy working. He greeted me and asked what I wanted with a smile on his face. That was nice and professional. So the food was fresh,tasty and good. I smpleased with the service.They are prett quick too. Typical Panda Express. This place used to give you decent portions but nowadays they give you very little. I always enjoy eating the Walnut Shrimp here. It doesn't taste like your usual Walnut Shrimp you would order at a Regular Chinese Restaurant but still pretty good. I've never had an issue with the food, (mixed up one order one time out of the many many times I've been here, understandable). I do have to say though that the drive thru wait is the most horrendous experience I've ever had (EVERY SINGLE TIME!!) This is not fast food at all unless there is no line. If there are 2 or more cars in the drive thru, expect to wait over 20 minutes. 4 to 5 cars has taken easily over 30 minutes. I still go through the drive thru knowing it will take forever if I want to call a friend and chat for awhile or use this time to have productive conversations with my kids knowing they can't escape lol. read more

Secondly, the service of this restaurant is so poor. The manager of this restaurant has taken the lead in the poor service, repeating every sentence or even complaining many times. Third, because there are so many casino players in this restaurant, they come from all over the world. As long as the customers speak English, they can't hear or understand, they will immediately appear discriminatory expressions, and other employees will belittle the customer's reaction by joking! Rotten service. I went over to get triaki chicken and they said it would be a 15 minite wait so i ordered a rice bowl with beef instead and the server overfilled the bowl with rice and put 4 small beef pieces on top so i said that it was not near enough and he said that was more they they normally give !!
