One of my plates that had the mushroom chicken had way too many mushrooms and not enough chicken. The temperature of the food wasn't the hottest so I had to warm it up. Quality: The recycle food containers they use are not made of good quality. It sweats really bad and water droplets are pouring out when you go to open your container. I also would love to see another method of jotting down the orders on your food container. Writing in ink pen on a card board box is unsanitary in addition to the condensation inside of the box. Ink dye and everything could seep into the food. Why not use a sticky note or something? Recommendation: I would say it's good when it is and when they're having a bad restaurant day, it shows. read more

This was my second time at this Panda Express location. There is ample parking because it shares the parking lot of a small shopping center. Inside was orderly. It wasn't crowded nor noisy. Only two tables were occupied. Staff wasn't welcoming. There was no greeting upon entry nor at the register. I had scheduled my order for pickup via the app to avoid any potential lines at 1:00pm. I had the Chili Crisp Shrimp with steamed white rice. It was very tasty. The portion was good for lunch serving. I wish the rice had more sauce on it. Went on tonight to order eggplant tofu. Was told by the gentleman that it would take a couple of minutes to take. When he asked the cook to make the tofu, the cook stated we do not have it. The gentleman again inquired and the cook stated, we make it no more. The guy serving us stated wow, that is new to me no one told me. As we checked out we asked when was it officially discontinued as it was still listed on the menu behind the register and on the front entree as a selection. The guy checking us out said well maybe about two or three days ago but I asked my other coworker and she said we just didn't make it today or we don't have the ingredients. This establishment was not close to closing and if you are lazy and just do not want to cook then say that instead of lying to our face. What if that was the only thing one could eat. Returned to a popular spot that I frequent when I'm In the area. Service was fast and friendly. This location has had the teriyaki chicken in stock for some time. That used to be a problem. I got a take out consisting of teriyaki chicken with honey sesame chicken and noodles. Lots of teriyaki sauce. One of my favorite combos. Hit the spot. My daughter went there last Friday, April 4, 2025. She got an absolute horrible case of FOOD POISONING that lasted over 2 days, with stomach cramps and vomiting the whole time. She finally had to go to the ER as her symptoms were only getting worse, not better. You get what you pay for. The service was fast, and ordering online was simple. They asked for your name and then give you your order. The food was nicely packed. My only complaint would be the shrimp. We ordered the family feast and had to paid about $3-4 extra for shrimp, which was fine. The shrimp entree compared to the other meat entrees was sad though. I expected stringy beef and was not disappointed but stringy chiken (with gobules of fat attached). ? I thought at least the broccoli would be cooked and no white rice. Brocoli was crunchy and for every teaspoon of brown rice there was half a cup of white rice. I do not want to sound prejudice but I am always suspect about what I eat at Chinese restaurants. Always well prep food. A great fast food Chinese take out that is very tasty. We all enjoy the food we get here. The place is very clean,organized and staff are always polite. Food displayed in woks are labelled, choices were tasty and prepare well. Line do get long during lunch and dinner hours. Only issue I have is the serving. There are days that they scoop more then some days less on your containers. I don't know how can they solve that but always watch how they scoop the entree and ask for more if your not satisfied with their serving. Highly recommended Panda Express. read more

Husband and I stopped at this location yesterday for lunch. I had the Kung Pao chicken and he had the mushroom chicken - both delicious! I always love the orange chicken (a staple) and topping off our bowls with their teriyaki sauce. Yum! Customer service was great. It's so nice to be greeted with a smile and have someone who actually starts a conversation with you. You really don't find that anymore, sadly. Their restrooms and restaurant were also very clean. Getting in and out of this area can be a hassle. It's very congested since it's in a busy part of Laurel. I'd recommend going when it isn't prime hours. I definitely recommend! This Panda Express is one of a row of stores in a lot between the northbound and southbound lanes of US-1. I've never had trouble entering or leaving this kind of lot but left exits and left entrances are potentially dangerous. My first impression of this Panda Express location wasn't so good. On a 85-degree day in the late summer, why was the air conditioning so weak? Also, service seemed a bit slow, causing the line to go all the way to the door. Those issues aside, I thought the food was good enough and the portions were generous. Close to 2000 calories, mindblowing fat and sodium content, and a free sampo if you're not convinced this is where you want to eat. This is Panda Express. If you've never tried Panda Express, you probably don't live in America, as PEs are in just about every mall I've ever been to...well, maybe they're not available in REAL America. In fact, you'd have to completely avoid the food court in order to miss the lady standing in front of the PE shouting "FREE SAMPO!" And if you can resist ordering the orange chicken after your sampo, I admire your self control. Food - the food here is standard PE fare, that is, greasy but strangely intoxicating Chinese food. $7 + tax will get you a 3 entree plate, which comes w/ a choice of steamed/fried rice or chow mein or veggies and 3 entrees. I recommend the orange chicken, the mandarin chicken (make sure to get extra sauce on it), and the black pepper chicken or broccoli beef. If you see that the ladies (for some reason, all the front workers are ladies) add some freshly cooked food, make sure you get it b/c it's so much better when it just came off the wok. I'd recommend passing on the soup(s), which is usually just hot & sour, b/c 1) they must be afraid of food poisoning or something b/c that soup is scalding! and 2) it doesn't taste that good. The spring rolls can tend to be soggy. Location - this is a standalone PE, located next to a Five Guys and CVS. The interior is actually very bright, the decor is clean, and there's plenty of seating. It's also located in the center of the worst & best intersection in the world: the worst b/c both Rte 1 and Rte 198 are split and that can mean some headaches, but the best b/c there's an Exxon, Shell, and Sunoco, all on different corners, and all of them w/ the cheapest gas prices this side of the Bay Bridge ($1.95 this week). Service - Despite being a standalone location, they'll still give you a sampo. In fact, they'll give sampos of multiple items, though the glare with which they pierce through your very soul increases with each. I've found the rather burly Chinese dude, who I assume is the owner, is a tight-wad when it comes to the portions he dishes out, which upsets me just about as much as the ladies at Chipotle who give me barely a spoonful of meat. The Chinese ladies are no better. The Hispanic ladies on the other hand, could care less. ¡Me Gusto! It's not the best Chinese food, and in fact, most Chinese people would likely be appalled that this is considered Chinese food, but that doesn't change the fact that this place is good. 3 stars for the food, 1 star for always giving out free sampos! read more

I really like Panda Express, especially the ones that are consistent. This one is pretty good with the food and having it available. The seating seems a bit uncomfortable if you have to accommodate more than 4 people in a party. They also need to turn up the AC. It was oppressively hot and humid today (starting the summer heat), and although there was some AC on, it was inadequate. I noticed the inner door was stood open, and I wasn't sure if that was contributing to the problem. But this location definitely should look into increasing the AC and/or taking measures to reduce the amount of heat entering the building (shade on large windows, doors being left open, etc.) read more

I know people that swear by Panda Express, and can't believe that where I'm originally from we don't have these. Truth be told though, I just can't fathom why you'd want one? Pros: + Instant Chinese, fast, and warm. + Under a ten-spot, good amount of food. + Unbelievably consistent quality control. Cons: - Which of course means, the quality is consistently pathetic everywhere. For example, the crispy beef dish, isn't spicy, isn't overly crispy, or flavorful. A bit salty... an odd complaint for Chinese in this area as near as I can tell. The chicken is similar. Vegetables seem a bit undercooked and lack flavor. - If you're dieting, avoid at all costs. A top of the line plate can easily crack 1,600 calories. Add an eggroll to fire the buttons off your pants or blouse. Also, this doesn't include a soda. - Location, this isn't really Panda Express' fault, but this strange divided road section of Laurel does nothing to help the already poor drivers, add a parking lot with a fast turn in for additional trouble... The staff and the decor are both unremarkable. There's just nothing about this place worth eating at. House of Peking Choice isn't as fast or cheap, but it's miles better tasting. read more
