Slimy chicken that was under cooked. The top of it was seared, but the inside was really mushy very slimy

I have not made a review in a long time, however, this one really got me I should've known to come here. There's better options of food elsewhere. I just got a simple panda bowl simple with teriyaki chicken. Well the teriyaki chicken was mushy and slimy undercooked very unhealthy. Very disturbing how I could've got sick I would not have spit it out. I would not affect something like that to my dog so here I am sitting here writing this review before I leave, in the parking lot, they deserve beyond one star and they're still serving it to people how can they not see that

I come to this store regularly, there always seem to be some issue, that needs to be addressed at this location. Why are your chicken eggrolls now always seem to be over cooked, and nearly burnt? It doesn't take that much, to fryer eggrolls golden brown, instead of burnt brown! This means that whoever is frying these eggrolls, is not paying attention to what they are doing or don't really care how they come out, which is very disheartening and disappointing.

    Super nice inside

Panda Express is a fast casual chain that serves Chinese food. Panda Express in Irving happens to be one of nicest restaurants in this class. It features a great interior space, feels upscale, and even features a Tea Bar. This review focuses ONLY on the Tea Bar. My Overall Rating - 3 1/2 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Not only is this is nicest Panda Express I have been too, it's the nicest casual restaurant I've been too. There are nice wood seating, comfortable couches (for tea drinkers), and even features flat screen TVs that separate the Tea bar from the main dining area. The entire space features tasteful Asian influenced design. Kudos to whoever designed this space as it's an awesome way to differentiate them from other restaurants. 1 Star. Service - There is a separate staff that manages the Tea Bar, and on our visit they were very welcoming and helpful. We were invited to sample a number of teas, the recently cooked boba, and the lychee. We were also given a tour of how the Tea Bar works. They were very helpful and friendly. 1 Star. Food (Tea) - First & foremost, be sure you adjust the amount of syrup they put in. Let me start there because our initial samples were way too sweet. We ended up reducing the syrup to 50% and it was still sweet. That being said, their fruit teas (mango & raspberry) were very fragrant and had enough tart to balance out the sweetness. The oolong & milk teas were a bit bland for my tastes. I didn't get as much "Tea" flavor as I would have liked. Both boba & lychee were great additions - I will saw the boba was cooked perfectly. Bottom line is the fruit teas are good but a bit sweet and the traditional teas were a bit bland. I didn't see an option for slushes. 1 Star. Will I Return? - Maybe. I still prefer Fat Straws for my drinks, but this Panda Express is super nice. They really did an incredible job with the space. Not sure I'd come back for the drinks specifically, but if you live or work in Irving you need to check them out. 1/2 Star. My Yelp Rating Scale (Sum of all parts): 1 Star - Atmosphere - Is it a cool dive? Perhaps an upscale place? No matter the type, atmosphere plays a big part and I'll give a star if I like it or thinks it has great charm. 1 Star - Service - You can have a great meal with bad service. But that's also what can make a five star joint drop to four. It's important to the dining experience that service is great and on point. 2 Stars - Food - I'll award up to two stars for the food, since this is the main reason we dine out. Sometimes the extra star is given for value, but it's really all about the food. 1 Star - Will I come back? - If I know for a fact I'll return, I'll give this a star. A place has to make an impression for me to return. Each Category can be given up to 1 star except food (2 stars) because I consider all these categories important to the overall dining experience. I will sum them up to provide my final Yelp score.

Got this mess that's supposed to be Beijing Beef...it's like deep fried leather.

In-N-Out Burger - Travel Day Redemption…read more Yesterday turned into one of those travel days where everything that could go sideways... did. We spent the morning finishing up a job and wrapped around 1:00 PM. From there it was straight to the Cleveland airport while trying to make flight reservations on the drive. Lunch? Not happening. Through TSA quickly, but then came the marathon walk to the gate. Houston was the same story -- another long trek between terminals while passing what felt like dozens of tempting places to eat. Unfortunately we had a short layover and no time to stop. By the time we landed in Dallas we were hungry, tired, and running on nothing but airplane snacks. Then came the next adventure... rental cars. None available. Finally Avis saved the day, but not before we stood outside in line waiting for cars to be cleaned and released to renters. Just when things couldn't get any stranger, the airport announced an evacuation alert. At this point we just looked at each other and laughed. But I had a plan. I told my traveling partner, "There's an In-N-Out about 10 minutes away once we finally get a car." Now that's motivation. We finally made the short drive and pulled into burger heaven. The drive-thru line was wrapped around the building (of course it was), so inside we went. No line! It was about 9:30 at night and the order was easy: * Double-Double Protein Style * Fries well done My buddy went classic with the Double-Double on the bun -- no shame there. One small disappointment... the shake machine was down. But a few minutes later the burgers arrived and all was forgiven. There isn't an In-N-Out anywhere in Oklahoma, so whenever I'm in Texas I take advantage. And after a day of airports, delays, missed meals, rental car chaos, and evacuation announcements... That burger tasted absolutely perfect. Of course the adventure wasn't over yet. We still had a three-hour drive home because tornado activity had temporarily shut down Will Rogers Airport in Oklahoma City. But at that point none of it mattered. Full bellies. Smiling faces. Happy ride home. Sometimes a great burger is exactly what the day needed.

I have never lived near one u til I moved to Dallas and yesterday I had a prime opportunity to try it out. I got the double double and tossed the bun. We always get the [Jumbo] Hot dog, which is not as big as you'd expect, but it's tasty. We enjoyed eating the Jumbo Chili Cheese Dog, Char-Grilled Maxwell Street Polish Sausage, and the Char-Grilled Polish Sausage. These are all the hot dogs we typically order. We're not fans of the Italian Beef Sandwich nor the Big Beef Sandwich; they typically have a lot of gravy in them. The Char-Grilled Italian Sausage Sandwich wasn't worth it. If you side the gravy and don't add peppers (an extra charge), you'd literally just get the bread and the sausage. The fries and onion rings are usually mediocre, but it's good served as a meal. On the other hand, the staff has always been kind, both in-house and drive-thru. The place has never been too crowded.

It was one of those places you just kept going back to because the food was consistently great and it felt like a true Chicago institution. So when Portillo's finally came to Texas, I was thrilled. Let's start with the star of the show...the Italian Beef with hot peppers. It's incredible. Order it dipped and you will be in food heaven. And if you really want the ultimate Chicago move, make it a combo by adding the Maxwell Street sausage. That combination is absolute perfection. Messy, bold, and ridiculously good. Of course, the Chicago-style hot dogs are outstanding too. Just make sure you order it the right way and "drag it through the garden." That means the full lineup of toppings, just like they do in Chicago. It's the real deal. The sides are fantastic as well. The crinkle-cut fries are always solid, and the onion rings are super crispy and addictive. If you're trying to behave a little, the chopped salad is my wife's favorite. It's fresh, loaded with flavor, and honestly one of the best salads you'll get anywhere. And here's the surprise for people who haven't tried it...the hamburger is fantastic. Big, meaty, juicy, and full of flavor. I'll say it plainly. It's better than just about any fast-food or fast-casual burger out there. Bottom line...Portillo's isn't just another restaurant. It's a Chicago legend that delivers every single time. I'm glad Texas finally got the memo.
