Got food through the drive thru. They parked us because the food was being cooked. We parked waited 5-8 minutes. Another customer came to our car window and said "hey you might want to go in and see if your food is ready my food was just sitting there" so we went in. Our food was of course sitting there. They were going to bring out the food until ALL THE DRIVE THRU ORDERS WERE DONE so they can take them all out at the same time. Bigger orders were being filled while the smaller orders sat there getting cold. We waited inside another 15 mins STARING AT OUR ORDER, the lady grabbed the orders to take to the cars. Before you question my 5 stars for a fast food place,....... I am basing this on exactly what this is and what I expect when I go to a fast food restaurant. We went early on a Saturday evening. The drive thru had lost of cars, the reviews on Yelp were mixed. I had low expectations. The crew on this shift were rocking it. Food was hot, plentiful and we didn't have to wait for anything to be cooked. We had the new almond chicken and the fresh veggies. They had to make the veggies but it was also fast. They packed our to-go containers full. The cook jumped in to help with the queue in the store. Great experience, service, food. And it was not just us. Another guest getting up to leave asks the manager if they could leave a tip. Give it a try!!! read more

This is by far the first time I finally received a proper ratio of meat to veggies! So super happy! Everything was delicious! 1st time to order the Super Greens bc I always thought it would be dry but the broccoli, kale, cabbage mix were covered in a tasty light sauce that will be my go to. The veggies were crunchy and fresh. Both entrees had a good portion of meat not the 80/20 veggie/meat ratio I expected since we went @ 4:00pm and that I've received in the past. First time I returned since my last review in Sept 2020 bc I had another gift card. If this is the standard meat to veggie ratio I may eat here way more often. The food is usually good once you get it, but there is always a wait for super greens. And typically the entrées we order have a 15 minute wait. They seem annoyed that we don't just order what they have, but how are we supposed to know? If it is on the menu, you would think they would have it! The last time we went, they said there would be a 10 minute wait for super greens and then they did not have the black pepper steak either. So there would be a 15 minute wait for that. We just said never mind and went to a different restaurant. The lady never apologized. She just seemed smug and pleased that she had gotten her way. read more

I started this review a while back and forgot to post... The drive-thru line takes forever. We usually time it just as a game. We have waited for at least 15 minutes and was told the kitchen was closed. They offered to take our order after the gave us a long list of what they were out of. I just saw a review I did 3 years ago on google where I said it was 8:10pm. They close at 9:30 and we were told they were out of orange chicken for the night. Now on 11/25/19 at 8:00pm with the same 9:30 close time we were told they were out of steamed rice for the night. You can't make anymore? I have eaten here at least 30 times. (Both inside and take out) honestly, I have never been disappointed in the food or service. I do prefer going in so I can see which entree is the freshest. I have had my take home order messed up a couple of times, but I told them about it and they seemed genuinely concerned about the errors. This place was terrible and I am a Panda Express fan in San Diego CA. The food was tepid at best and the staff was absolutely disinterested. They didn't talk to you or each other. I don't think they want to work there! Although we arrived just as they opened, the food wasn't fresh and tasted like yesterday's leftovers. I ordered fried rice, mushroom chicken and black pepper chicken. The rice was old and crunch. Pretty sure that is not normal. And the chicken had a weird taste. Then when I asked if they did military discount the rude woman at the window wouldn't even let me finish my question and just blurted out "No" in a rude manner. Bottom line second review and this store once again does not deliver. With the current affair I place an order online and it does not post to the store. It tells me to go in and place my order. This is confirmed that the order was not received, as they did not have my order. But it did charge my bank account the $16.92 at 3:30pm. So the store employee directed me that the manager would address and return my call, he'd be in after 5:30-6. Hector is his name. 7pm rolls around no call. So I call the store ask for the manager. In short, he said he would have to look it up which made no sense because it didn't register into their database. Nor did he have any card information. He told me not to come in he'd look it up. I reminded him of the previous lack of information he did not have. So I then proceed to go to the website to log a complaint as there is no customer svc number to call. It would be the store calling me back. So you know that's gonna go no where. Come to find out I've filled out the complete complaint card and it will not process my complaint. When I walk into an eatery for the 1st time I tend to check out everything. That probably has to do with having managed and supervised so many eateries in my younger years. So, when it is 95 outside and 85 inside my antenni go up. Looking at the ceiling I see that no one has been maintaining the tiles nor the vents. Dirty! Then I stepped up to order and asked them to help me because I have never been in Panda Express. The young lady was apparently lethargic from the heat because she and the other 2 behind the counter moved so slowly. Heat will do that to you. I ordered the bowl of Beef Broccoli, which I soon decided should be called Big Amount of Big Broccoli with Little Amounts of Little Beef- like things. The taste was not bad, once I added enough soy sauce to suit my taste. Why two stars? A place must appear clean before I ever rate 3 stars. When employees respect the bosses and the business they will keep up appearances, if for nothing else so friends and family will be impressed. If you dont show pride in yourself and where you work, you should look elsewhere. Lot of places in town that excel. Until management changes, pick another place. read more

Won't be going here again. I ordered a plate with double orange chicken and half fried rice half noodles. He gives me my food in the drive through and I realize it's a bowl. Give it back to him and say it's not right then instead of him making me what I ordered he just gives me a tiny side of orange chicken (along with the wrong bowl he just gave me) then proceeded to tell me it's the same amount of food as the plate I ordered. We went to go get panda express at 9, they close at 9:30, first of all, they shouldn't have been cleaning up until they closed the store and stopped allowing people to order food. Not only am i having to wait 15 minutes for our food, but we also had very poor customer service. i have never been interrupted while trying to order as many times as the employee did tonight.
