This place is usually awesome but ever since they take online orders it seems like they can't get that together. They stop the entire line to deal with the order. I waited 30 minutes in line while two online orders were put together. It's really frustrating as a guest who is trying to get dinner and being backed up from the online orders then they attempt to take your order and mess up what you want because another online order is jumping in the line and they have to get that done first. First, this review has nothing to do with the food. I got my food correctly and utensils to go. This is for the manager there and two employees. The manager Robert I believe is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and rude. He needs to get more training or gets days off to chill. As I waited in line for my food, he told the lady before me, "Lady I have been working here. I'm writing this even before I finish my meal because I am so disappointed and frustrated. We visited on 9/20/19 around 7:50pm. The manager (wearing black), "Connie" possibly, was serving the sides, she became easily upset when I asked for protein only on my bowl. I guess because asked if I can have 2 proteins only. I had to re-explain no rice, no noodles. She said "ok, same charge as bowl". As we moved up in Lomé to pay, "Connie" kept eying our bowl making sure it was not overly served with food. She then signaled the cashier to charge us for 2 entree's. Our 2 bowls came up to be $20+! I immediately informed the cashier of the pricing posted on the board for bowls, she said "yes, but I was told to charge you for 2 entrees." She called over, "Connie", who said she didn't say that and made a body gesture, that we were holding up the line. This is a very standard fast Chinese food take out at this location, 1 block away from my doctor's neurology. The consistency of the food was good and rapid. The Teriyaki and Orange Chicken were good for me with rice and Chow Mein. The overall food was disgusting for me but fresh. Panda Express was somewhat craziness for that location because the customer service was somewhat slow and the bathrooms are little dirty. I have been coming to this location for the past 20 + years. The food is very good and never had a problem with their customer service, until today. I always order the same thing, I get served 2 scoops of orange and sometimes 2 or 3 por pieces, depending on the size of chicken and 2 good size pieces of teriyaki chicken. But today only 1 scoop of orange chicken, really!! I asked her to add some more, she gets more in the serving scoop and try's to get rid of some, she ends up giving me 3 little pieces seriously She wasn't very happy I had asked her for more, I asked for Teriyaki chicken as my second choice, she gave me a medium size piece and the second piece was half the size of the first piece; you got to be kidding me I look at the plate the person behind me ordered, he ordered the same as me, but he got more food. He got 2 large pieces of teriyaki chicken and a lot more orange chicken; what the hell !!! Who is this women??? I have noticed over the years that the food portions are getting smaller, but today was the worst. Probably one of he cleanest and fastest Panda Express' I've been to. The staff was friendly and they made sure I got fresh veggies (since no one probably orders veggies). I came close to closing time and everything was fresh. I came on a Wednesday night. Hope the managers read this to acknowledge the staff. Nice location and atmosphere at first glance, but when my group and I ordered we had to repeat our orders over 7 times and they still got it wrong! All of the crew members were not paying attention. I'm not sure if they were rushing or just not really interested in really knowing what we all wanted in our order. We waited 10 minutes for a fresh batch of orange chicken and they still served us an old batch. We had no problem waiting 10-20 minutes at all.... but why wait only to be served old food? I don't usually leave a horrible review but this location would have received ZERO stars if I could. One star is too much. I asked why people behind us got their food before us? He just said "printer broke" and walked away. Then the cashier asked, "Show me your receipt!" I told her that the manager took it and it's in her hand! She finally handed me my food and I asked her if they put in dipping sauce for the spring rolls? She snidely responded, "You didn't order any!" It took me 25 minutes to get a take-out order. No one said "We're sorry it took so long," nothing! No free drink or free meal, nothing! Not a word.
