This location has went downhill, I ordered broccoli beef as one of my entrees and did not get not one piece of beef.

They always forget to add the sauces and for the teriyaki chicken no sauce as well. Its always the same thing even if you ask for it.

This is my usually spot to go to but today was not plesent. As I was on my lunch break and they had a hand written sign stating they will open at 12pm to pick up inside. Drive thru was an option but ridiculously long. The store didn't open the door till minutes after the fact. I had called in attempt to place an order and was redirected to an out of state number. I called the store to kindly tell them about the store open being delayed and got sent to voice-mail. read more

DRIVE-THRU DEBACLE AND UNSATISFACTORY MANAGERIAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. Ever order drive-thru and arrive home only to discover that your order had been botched up?!? Well, that's me. Extremely dissatisfied with the managerial service. Drive-thru order for 2 plates, 2 kids meals, and one bowl. Both kids meals was missing the teriyaki sauce that was ordered on the side and the chocolate chip cookie that comes with each meal. I had to walk in to get them. Arrived home and opened up both plates to find them completely wrong, as well. I'd phone the location and insisted to speak to a manager; who never came to the phone but seemed to insist for the staff to handle my call. After being "disconnected" and having to call back again, I'd asked to speak to a manager again to request that the plates be refunded and the order be replaced. While the staff placed me on hold to inquire with the manager, I could hear the manager exclaiming, "Again?!?" Manager refused my request, refused to come to the phone and insisted on only refunding the cost for the plates OR replacing the plate orders...at my convenience. read more

I really like the orange chicken and cream cheese rangoons from here. The line always takes forever though. Also, I tried ordering ahead online and when I got to the drive through speaker I told them I had an online order to pick up but they said it wasn't ready, even though it was already at the time it told me it'd be ready by. The woman was short with me and a little rude when she told me I'd have to park and come inside later to pick up my order. I was disappointed they didn't have it ready and then that I had to wait another ten minutes to get the food. Food was good but they need to extend the pickup times online when you order if the food isn't going to be ready when it says it will. read more

Panda Express - The simple order - Chinese Near Me - Chula Vista, California

Very poor customer service, lines too long both standing and drive thru. Waited 15-mins for my order it's ridiculous.

Horrible service. When getting there after 9pm if its not a chicken dish it ain't ready. Beijing beef 10-15min wait, any shrimp dish 10-20min. Asked for chow mein and there was a 7min wait. At this point didn't even ask for egg roles. I then ordered a lemonade...... sure but they didn't have ice.... The person taking the order felt frustrated with me and my friend as well for not being able to order quickly. I mean how could we when half the menu is not ready for order. I hope they make the small changes to improve their late night experience read more

Back today and it was right on!! Fast service and good portion. See you guys soon! Old review: It's always hit or miss with this location. Today was pretty much a miss. Only had 6 little pieces of orange chicken in the bowl... definitely not a scoop like there should be. Long wait in the drive through, then the crappy bowl. Think I'm going back to a different Chinese fast food again! Bad, Panda, bad read more

Got food poisoning from the honey walnut shrimp and had to call off of work. My boyfriend also felt sick after eating here.

I hate coming to this location for TWO reasons. 1)Drive thru line is always long as hell! They slow to make your order so the line is always 6 plus cars. I like that they have a drive thru though, one of the few places that does 2) WHY DO YOU OFFER ME A "SAMPLE" and then when I pull up to the window I HAVE TO REMIND YOU TO GET THAT SAMPLE!! I would rather you not offer it at all! Does this happen to anyone else? I've been here over 20 times and EVERY time they offer me a sample when I'm ordering "Hi, welcome to panda, would you like to try our new Shit on a Stick?" "Sure" "Okay, what can u get for you?" As I pull up. "Here's your order, thanks and have a good day!" "Wait, I was promised some shit on a stick? Can I get some?" And as she pulls away to go get me a sample I leave, cause screw it, I ain't got time to play games. Plus hopefully the person behind me gets hooked up without waiting. Other than that, the food is the same as every other Panda Express read more

I was waiting in the drive thru and it started to rain and the speakers stop working and told me that the drive thru was close and couldn't take my order in the window. I ask the the female employee for the phone number of the complaint department she told me to look it up on line I ask for her name and she close the windows doors on my face. That's why this Panda Express has a low review. the managers making $90,000 per year for this read more

Got my order wrong Monday called and they took down my info spoke to Miriam the manager on duty she asked for receipt number and info she said She will write name down and I can get replacement great. So I show up with receipt and her name in hand so the employee tells me I'm not on the book so she forgot never wrote name down and I was embarrassed already at that point I think as a manager you have a job to run a shift satisfy customers and take complaints/compliments and fix. Only reason I'm giving it 5 stars it's because Celia the manager on duty I spoke to today told me she will take care of me I had receipt and name of manager who promised to fix the issue. I'm satisfied and thank you Celia for doing your job and fixing your co workers mistakes otherwise I would of gave it 1 star due to order being wrong and Miriam not writing down my name and leaving me to go thru embarrassment with employees and customers. Thanks again Celia 5 stars for you read more

Never been , first time Ever and last.!! my mom couldn't find the correct entrance and she tried getting helped by employees and they laughed instead of helping her out! STOP DO NOT EAT HERE. The food was old, cold and horrid. All broccoli and no beef. The chow mein was all broken in small pieces, cold, very sloppily served. The order was incorrect, although they charged for premium items, no premium items were served. The egg rolls were frozen, hard to bite through and mushy inside. There was a super long line both drive through and walk in. They were overwhelmed and were staffed with high schoolers and tijuanese read more

Today, I decided to come to this specific location hoping to get a better experience from the Chula Vista, on Broadway, but the food quality is poor, the veggies I got, all the broccoli was already looking yellow-ish. The chicken had a hard texture, the new Steak-shrimp had a greasy-thick sauce feeling, no unique flavor. Service on the other hand, hard time to follow the instructions, spent an extra 10 minutes at the window clarifying and ensuring I got everything. It was just basic request, such as; no ice on the drinks, 1 extra Teriyaki sauce, one sweet and sour sauce, 4 chili sauce, but were out of this one. I understand we are still working on leaving COVID behind, but 3 workers were at the window and all seemed lost. If they were training, something is not right on the way they train new associates. read more

Watch out! the afternoon crew serves spoiled/dry old food. I did my order thru the drive up. I went back to work to eat my lunch and to my surprise the food they served me was disgusting. (Drive thru) Getting worse. It was 2 plates!!!! We ordered 2 chicken egg rolls and got one and we got charged for 2 also we asked for fried rice and got white rice!! It's obvious its two plates and we NEED 2 FORKS!! The sweet n sour was spilled in the bag and we asked for hot sauce and soy sauce and got one of each, and for the stupid cookies we got one (when its 2 people). Their employees are polite, their food is good and they get the order correct. However, the drive through line is a nightmare and the management needs to seriously figure out how to improve the lack of customer service. We went through the drive through, line moved at a decent speed. We ordered a family feast and were told they were out of fried rice so we'd have to wait 4-5 minutes and to go park. When we got the parking area there were multiple other cars also waiting for their orders. We watched as employees ran food out to the cars. Then it stopped and we waited. 20 minutes later my husband went inside to check and our food was on the counter with three other bags. Employee said they were waiting to get several orders ready before they took anything outside! We won't be back. read more

We usually go thru the drive thru if there is a long line and have had good customer service. Not today. I was trying to order and was interrupted while talking. Ordered 3 panda bowls and 2 orders of the vegies egg rolls. I told him I wanted 2 orders. I repeated it because he asked me how many. Went to the window to pay a girl had repeated my order I said yes. She asked if I had ordered rangoons I said no just the 2 orders of vegi eggrolls. Behind her was who I believe was the boy who took my order initially. I hear him say she ordered them. As I am handing her the money I said to them and to him I did not. He was arguing that I did. It was not on the receipt so there was no problem. I just expect better customer service. Then when we all ate our bowls they were bland and it was very salty all of us are very dehydrated. read more

What happened to this place.? The last few times service has been mediocre at best. This last time they sent my wife home crying because they made her wait 30 minutes for her food then gave her food away to the wrong person she requested a refund they didn't know how to do the refund stated that there was no manager on duty and sent her home without any food. I have been a restaurant manager for 15 years it's restaurant 101 basic customer service. I get it comps and returns are not a good thing but losing customers is definitelyA bad thing. Never again The panda feast is 35 bucks they sent a 10 dollar gift card. I was even more insulted. As a manager my goal is for people to leave happy and come back without hesitation. A lot of room for improvement at this company. Fix the what's wrong not shirt change the consumer. read more

This was the worst costumer service ever!!! I went to order 2 plates and one club meal to go. I asked for 2 plates and 1 kids meal. The second woman that took my sides had all Of them wrong after I had told the first guy that asked if I wanted rice or chow mein whay I wanted. She grabbed the kids plate and put orange chicken instead of Teriyaki and I told her that I didn't want that that I had asked for teriyaki. She told me it didn't say that on the plate and rolled her eyes and just dumped the orange chicken back and left all sauce stained on the plate to add the teriyaki chicken. Second plate, she only added orange chicken and closed it. I told her that I would like a second side and she was absolutely rude!!! She talked back Infront of all costumers waiting in line. I honestly dealt with the worst manager ever! I caught her whispering something about me to her partner. Her name was Esperanza. I asked Grecia the server who charged my order what her name was and told me she was the manager! Just horrible attitude! read more

They took my name down and said they will give it to me next time. I let this mess up slide since it was the first time. Well today i ordered chicken Terriyaki and when i arrived at home no teriyaki sauce thats like getting orange chicken without the sauce. I wasnt going to drive all the way back for the sauce. I had to write this review because you guys messed up my orders too many times in one month. I want to give you guys my business but its hard when you guys constantly mess up my order. My favorite part of this place is that it has drive thru .. It is located behind the Shell gas station and Soup Plantation in Chula Vista .. Right off the 805 freeway and Main Street... Food was good and warm. Staff was decently friendly. Not anything to rave about. We ordered for here. My husband ordered the Beijing beef, but they didn't have a full serving available. The lady said it would be ready in 5-6 mins and she would call him. They took his name, we sat down to eat the rest of our food. We both kept looking up front but didn't notice it getting full. 30 mins later, I'm not exaggerating, he finally goes up and sees the Beijing beef half full she completely forgot. Mistakes happen I totally get it but she could have at least apologized. Also in general the staff was quite busy talking amongst each other, even while serving our food so I'm not surprised they would have gotten their minds mixed up. There was also a lady who came in for an online order and they didn't have it ready. I saw her wait 8-10 mins between waiting and then waiting for them to dish it for her. read more

We just came from Panda Express and found a cockroach in our food. I'm not sure how it got there but it's probably because the rice and chow mein had been sitting under the heat lamp for a while. This is probably the worst thing that has happened to us in a fastfood restaurant. Two stars for the service, but the quality and cleanliness might be something to consider putting more effort on. From now on I'm going to have to go to trader joes to get something similar when I crave panda. Oh well. =( read more
