Love this place. I always order steamed veggies with teriyaki chicken and kung pao chicken. I never gain weight with this order and it never ruins the Dr. Ooi diet. read more

Sometimes their good and sometimes not. Went through drive-thru and never got our sample, she almost forgot one of our drinks, she forgot to give us our fortune cookies and she forgot an entree which we had to go back for. We're glad we checked before heading home but we will not be going to Panda Express for a while, not the first time drive-thru messed up either. If you go through the drive-thru make sure to check your order before leaving, you just can't trust that you got what you paid for. read more

The worst Panda Express I've ever been to. The two bowls we ordered were almost half empty and the staff was very unfriendly. Avoid this one. read more

My mother LOVES the orange chicken, and orders it every time we go here. I however am disappointed that the don't have Won_tons and the fortune cookies often taste old. Still a good choice for asian food. read more

We had EXCEPTIONAL service from Rhiannon tonight at the Cohasset location in Chico, CA. She was helpful, quick, and incredibly personable. She took our order, maximized our time while we waited for the next batch of orange chicken, and charged us while we waited, so that we could just leave when the order was up. She made conversation with us, we learned about her and she learned about us. We think she deserves a bonus for providing genuine service and making us feel like we were family. Thank you Rhiannon for being such ray of sunshine, even in the time of year when people are typically stressed and rushed, you were fantastic! read more

Panda Express left out part of my order not once, but twice. It was the same exact order, and both times, the same part of the order was left out. Basically, this amounts to me not getting what I paid for. The first time? An honest mistake. The second time? Unacceptable. There will be no third time. read more

No white rice or fried rice. Always seem to be out of something when we show up. It's not that hard to please our family, just make sure you're consistent with the food in stock. read more

Why do I ever go to Panda? I ask myself that question each time I lie to myself and say "this time will be different." It never is. Always beneath expectations no matter the location or town. Next time I get the itch for chinese while on the road I need to permanently shut down any thought of the Panda. read more

I'm not much of one for writing reviews, but I had to write about my experience at this particular Panda Express. I went there this evening to buy some dinner since I was having a busy evening. I always walk in, and never use the drive thru. I want to see what I am going to pick, because I really don't want the last of an item that has been there for too long, and all dried up. In this instance this evening, going inside paid off. I ordered the two item plate, and I was going to get half fried rice and chow mein. Upon walking in I was about the third person in line. By the time I got up to the counter about to place my order they were bringing out a fresh batch of fried rice. I was thinking, awesome I will get some fresh made fried rice. As I am watching the employee put the tray onto the steam table the corner closest to me slips out of his hand, and the tray falls into the water. Some of that water made it into the tray of the freshly made fried rice. The employee pulled the tray and set it on the counter behind him. I thought I herd him ask for more fried rice. As I am watching this employee grab a smaller tray to put the fried rice in. The employee is taking rice from the side that didn't touch the water. I know rice is very absorbent, but how does he know the water didn't make it to the other side of the tray. So after scooping rice out of the larger tray into a smaller one, the employee puts the smaller tray on the steam table for serving. Now I am not sure what the temperature of the water in the steam table is, but even if it were close to boiling, I don't think that should be any reason to serve this tray of rice. The water wasn't clear either, it was a bit cloudy. So I ask you Panda Express, do you consider this sanitary? Is your policy to keep a product on the steam table after water from the steam table gets into the tray? Would you have eaten this? Would you feed this to your children? I certainly hope not. I considered asking for a manager, but judging by the people working there, it would have fell on deaf ears. I doubt the main manager was there, so I didn't want to waste my time talking to someone that really didn't care. So maybe I will return tomorrow to let the manager know what I saw. Bottom line, what I saw was unsanitary and disgusting! read more

This is THEE WORST PANDA I/we have ever been too. After countless, and I mean literally countless, lets give it "one more chance"'s, my girlfriend and I are boycotting Chico,CA Panda. The portion sizes are beyond petite and never compare to other Pandas'. I don't go to a fast-food Chinese food restaurant to spend $35 because I have to order extra sides OF EVERYTHING in order to get a full plate. The drive-through employee (usually the same rude female) attitude's is sour and the front of house employees must have cement cinder blocks on their feet because the word/attitude of "hustle" does not apply in this store. The small amount of food you do get is decent in quality, but when comparing it other Panda Express restaurants it is highly disappointing. For months we have talked about leaving a poor review, but never have because we don't want to taint the reputation of a restaurant but after tonight's visit I have had it with this location. Tonight my girlfriend literally got 5 pieces of orange chicken in her dish, 5. read more

At this Panda, they have decent customer service. My only complaint is that the serving portions are fairly small. They aren't generous at all with their serving sizes. read more

This place sucks. I went through the drive-thru at 830 at night and ordered string bean chicken and they said they were out of it for the night. With 2 hours to closing they could have made some like all the other pandas would do and it would have been ready by the end of my 20 minute wait in the drive-thru. read more

Last 3 times I've been here "3 different times of the day" I've been stopped ah the drive through because they don't have the food ready....

First time here and it's pretty good, they were very busy but still managed to get out stuff in time the only issue I had is that they kept running out of stuff. I got half of my order and had to wait for the other half. While waiting they had a big amount of people come in and I was forgotten about, waited about 15 minutes before I asked if my food was ready and they had totally forgotten. read more

Once a week I treat myself to time with my book and lunch out while running errands. I didn't want to go out of my way and I didn't want a burger, so I decided to give this a try. It was my first and probably last time. The cowmein was very so-so, the honey walunt shrimp was pretty good as was the pepper chicken. My issues are with temperature and price. With a small drink and the 3 items mentioned (no left overs) I spent $10.....my bad, but would have rather had Hula's for that price or Tong Fong Lows where I'ld have leftovers. My main issue was the temperature of everything. Barely luke warm. They were reasonably busy, so I waited until I could talk to an employee, figuring that they would want to know that their steam tables needed to be turned up a bit. The response was, we temp test and as long as it's 140, it's fine. No, "I'll have the kitchen check that or mention it to the manager." She even admitted the food wasn't that hot. I wasn't looking for a refund... just a friendly heads up. Pluses: entrees okay, fast service Minus: Food not hot enough, expensive for what it was (1/2 paper plate was very plain chowmein noodles--dry noodles and cabbage) read more

I love the food at this place! It may not be cooked right in front of you like at Hulas, but it is delicious all the same! Also, I have never waited longer than 5-10 minutes for my food. The only thing is to make sure you get your order right the first time because it makes it very hard for them to change an order with how fast they go. read more

These people are so stupid. The company spent MILLIONS promoting sesame chicken breast. I ordered it around 2:45 and was told they were out. FOR THE REST OF THE DAY. Wtf? They can't make it??? And how stupid can you be to not have enough in stock. They have 4 signs on the premises promoting it lmao. read more

Horrendous customer service. Every time I go, me and whoever I'm with catch an employee roll their eyes or huff in annoyance, at either another customer or myself. I went through the drive-through today for lunch, and was extremely rushed, there was no one else in line in front or behind me. When I got to the window I gave her my money she basically threw my change in my hand losing $.27 and then after, handed me my food and shut the window I then sat there for two minutes before she came back, which when she did come back she opened the window rolled her eyes and said, can I help you, I then told her yes no one asked me if I wanted any soy sauce, and I kind of need a fork to eat my food. She didn't apologize or anything she continued to proceed with attitude. The inside restaurant and drive-through were not busy at all. I know panda express is a chain restaurant, and you can't really expect fine dining customer service, but we're still people and you work with the public so if you don't like your job maybe you should find another read more

I am a huge fan of Panda Express, but I have to say, this location has hands down killed my liking for this place. So one time I came to this Panda Express through the drive thru around 10:45, and they left me waiting in the drive thru for 35 minutes. My roommates and I eventually walked in and they obviously had forgotten about us. The most annoying thing about this situation was that they still charged us full price and everything, but I let that one go and didn't even bother trying to say something. At least back then the food was good. But the last few times, the food was absolutely repulsive. The orange chicken is soggy and a pinkish color inside. I was disgusted. I'm actually so disgusted with it that I'm going vegetarian. There was no excuse for it to be that disgustingly soggy because I came in the morning because the last time I came at night it was disgustingly soggy. I don't know what's going with this location, but I know that I wish it wasn't the only Panda Express in Chico. I wasted money and couldn't even eat the food. Advising everyone who considers having Chinese food for lunch or dinner today to not come to this place. Very disappointed and I will not be returning. read more
