This place it's getting worse and worse. They should change the name to vegetable express, because they don't serve any meats anymore.

If you are in California and enjoy Panda Express, the Castaic location is the place to go. We asked for extra cream cheese ragoons and egg rolls and they were served up quick. I love Panda Express and all the employees helping us out today were great. Alex helped us when we first ordered and he had excellent customer service. Brenda checked us out with our order and she was awesome as well. Brenda made sure we got everything we needed at the restaurant. Also, Jose was quick with our extras that we needed cooked. I didn't catch the other employee's name, but they were quick and reliable as well. I will be sure to visit this location again in the near future. Keep up the great work Panda employees. read more

Arrived at 1:30 headed home to Bakersfield. Was surprised at how empty the food in the line was. Had to wait almost 10 minutes for Beijing Beef, orange chic and chow mein. Beijing beef was over cooked and chow mein was bland. Lemonade and iced tea both empty at dispenser. Surprised at how dirty the location was also. The whole 45 minute experience, not one crew member cleaned the dining area. Will never patronize this location aga May 6, 2018 I appreciate the response from management. I'm not looking for a free meal so I politely decline the offer. What I simply want is for the issues in my review to be addressed. I have been to several different locations and the Castaic location is by far the worst. read more

Panda Express - Chinese Near Me - Castaic, California

Came for dinner when I was in the area working. Very clean inside, plenty of seating. Free and fast WIFI. The staff is very friendly and accommodating here. I gave Four stars because they don't offer hardly any meatless options. Only one shrimp option. But the mixed veggies and rice & noodles were very tasty. read more

The service and communication wasn't so great here and food quality wasn't very well wont be coming to this location anymore

This is the second time they completely mess up my order I know they try to get ur order fast so ur not waiting long but that's when mistakes happen I ordered two bowls half rice half chow main with honey walnut shrimp and a chicken egg roll they asked me to park anywhere in front because the walnut shrimp was going to take a few minutes so aside from them charging extra for the honey walnut shrimp they gave me two bowls all show main one honey walnut shrimp and one teriyaki chicken that was very chewy I hope I don't get sick .. the egg roll they gave me was burnt cold and hard I just threw it away .. and to add insult to injury they put the honey walnut shrimp bowl on top to make it seem as if my order was correct was this done on purpose??? Ppl if u decide to come eat here after all please please! Make sure they got ur order correct and check ur food! I think I'm going to be sick read more

We got there 15 min before closing on Christmas Eve and Phillip was great. They didn't have a lot left so he was putting things together to make a whole plate. Great service and good food. read more

Alex at the register has the worst costumer service I asked for the manager and he wouldn't get them for me.

I admit, I'm addicted to Panda Express... this week alone I've probably been almost every other day (yikes!) the firecracker shrimp just has me! Each and every time I've come to the Panda Express in Castaic, the staff has been extremely amazing. Most the time I see Steph and Maria, they are sweet and positive, helpful and wonderful customer service. They apologize for any inconveniences and fix any problems. Tonight, I had Steph, Maria, Gerrikah and Ethan helped me (hope I didn't miss anyone). They were all so friendly and I appreciate their customer service so much. Thank you and you all make a really great team! read more

Why go to a restaurant where the food bowls are always empty and then wait forever to get less food with a highrer price. If Panda's new policy is to chase all the customers away it's working. I'm gone and won't return. read more

Came in two weeks ago and was given a honey shrimp to try prior to purchasing. Today no to trying the angus steak which I purchased. Not a lover of it. Definitely not the best Panda Express read more

I was not terribly impressed with this Panda. To be fair, I came for food around 1:45pm, which is a little past the normal lunch rush, but not by so much that the food should be a bit stale ... which, sadly, it was. I got a 2-entree plate, and the white rice was totally fine. No issues there. Had to get orange chicken as one of the entrees, right? Yep. It didn't have that subtle crunch or softer interior. The pieces were just sort of chewy and unimpressive. The beef with broccoli was worse. The beef seemed like it hadn't been moved around in a bit. I'm wondering if that dish isn't as popular as it used to be, and the turnover wasn't enough to get me anything close to fresh. I've been to at least 8-10 Panda Expresses in my life, and this one needs to do a bit better on the food side. The service was very good, so at least there was that! read more

the staff at this place is truly amazing and professional during these times of a pandemic especially Araya she was really nice and wonderful she sets a great example for panda, It sucks to see those angry customers always yelling at the workers and causing altercations but i guess the "customer is always right" but anyways KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK read more

I encountered a rude worker at this location! She was screaming over me asking for teriyaki sauce! She was extremely aggressive that I contacted the corporate office. They have NOT responded and it's been past 2 weeks! Never had this happen, but an aggressive worker shouldn't be allowed! read more

Stopped in to grab a bite on a long drove home , it was pleasantly clean and cool inside ( its 93 today). The restrooms were clean and stoked. I was greeted as soon as I entered the restaurant by a very polite young man - Bryan. I got a 2 entree plate - kung pao chicken & teriyaki chicken with veggies - Bryan was nice enough to offer fresh veggies if I didn't mind waiting . I didn't mind .. he finished putting the rest together and completed the transaction .. I waited only a few minutes ... and boy was it worth it ! read more

Panda Express - Chinese Near Me - Castaic, California

Have been here several times and regret it afterwords almost always. Several times ive gone drive through and ordered items (during middle of day. Not close to closing or anything) and been told it will be 5 min wait and then asked if i would rather have something else. After 3 or 4 items being a 5 to 10 mins wait i finally just give me orange chicken and whatever else you have. Then i pull up to window pay and end up sitting there for 8 mins. I watched the clock!might as well have ordered what i wanted and "waited" . And to top it off lady at window was rude. After handing me,my food she imeadiatly walked away and i had to wait another 3 mins for her to come back so i could ask for sauce and napkins. This was similar experiance on almost every visit. Going inside was slightly better ecperiance. I wont be going back here . en read more

Yay! We finally get something new in Castaic. I can't believe how bad the reviews are on here. I'm pretty picky when it comes to Chinese food and this Castaic location consistently serves a pretty tasty meal. My whole family, including 7 and 10 year old are down with the Panda They even have a drive thru AND are open late! read more

I'm a local and try to support local businesses so I frequently pickup food at their drive-thru for lunch but the last 3 visits have really been off the mark. The first time, I ordered two-item plate and got no sauce on the teriaki chicken even though I specifically asked for extra sauce on top of chicken. No problem. On second visit couple weeks later, ask for plate again with Beijing beef and a bowl with String Bean chicken for wife. Got home and had 4 small pieces of dry beef on plate and bowl was half full with had lots of string beans and only 4 pieces of chicken. Didn't bother to complain - too lazy. Finally, on last visit, asked for half-and-half fried rice and chow-mein, with honey walnut shrimp. Got home: it had steamed rice and 4 small shrimp in much smaller portion than normal. Got all my receipts to prove my orders. Seeing other similar complaints lately, I think the location has a workforce and mgmt problem that's affecting quality control. Sorry, but will now go to Valencia to pickup my Chinese food. read more

Awful service! Forgot/messed up half our order & no utensils or anything. Really need to get it back together, had to go back through the drive through & still didn't have everything we needed! read more

I was very offended on how Josephine at 5:03 pm on 5/3/20 responded to us when we walked in. Despite the quarantine situation and each restaurant dealing with it differently, this person was rude and obnoxious, she yelled at us and failed to explain the changes in thier service. I have visited thier restaurant many times but this will be my last, no need to give my money to rude fast food chains there is a dime a dozen. I hope the manager sees this and addresses this. What happened to kindness and customer service? clearly Josephine (Josie on her name tag) has neither why is she there???? read more

This restaurant's food quality went from so so to terrible. Where do I start. Let's see. Meat. If ordering dish with sauce, you'll hardly notice the quality. Try ordering the chicken teri-yuck-ki! awful. I think they grilled the chicken while frozen so it's soggy and the texture is awful. Then the Rice. If it's under-cooked, it's over-cooked. How about those Veggies. They looked expired and they're still selling them. Anyway, there's a few eateries around Castaic, eat there and avoid this place. read more

Come here almost weekly to get food for my father and they're always friendly and wee-stocked. The drive-thru is also convenient and you can even call ahead of you'd like. read more

***** Attn: Owners - YOUR STAFF SUCKS ASS! ***** This has to be the slowest Panda Express I've ever been to in my life. The two girls working could care less about helping customers. They are more concerned with who went on break next. Both of them needed swift kick in the ass from a customer service specialist. Both of them had crappy attitudes as well. As for the food, well it's Panda Express. They always taste the same no matter where you go. This is one of the main reasons I like Panda. You can bet your sweet ass I'll never stop at this one again. read more

Panda Express is what it is...fast Chinese food. It was good. My black pepper chicken was spicy because of the pepper. Kids liked their kids meal that consisted of teriyaki chicken and white rice/chow mein. read more

I've been coming to this location for about a year but I've noticed service has gone down recently. The last two times I ordered food at the drive thru left me greatly disappointed and tonight was the final straw. Ordered the family feast with Kung pao chicken, Beef broccoili and Honey walnut shrimp. Paid extra for the shrimp but that's ok. Told to park in lot as one of my items would take a few mins. Ok, no problem. What was a problem was finding out 45 mins later after I drove home my Kung pao chicken wasn't included. Urgh. Tried calling the store directly but only go a busy signal. Tried over a course of an hour and a half just to see if I could get through. No such luck. Did they leave the phone off the hook intentionally? Update Oct 2014: Received a call and apology from the gal who took my order with a promise to replace my missing food. Appreciate the response and offer. I also received a call from corporate with and apology and offer for three 2 entree meals with drink. Wow. They made it right 2x. read more

This is my favorite Panda! Enthusiastic, Polite, friendly and cleanest that i have been to and being in a traffic free zone helps a bunch! Always fresh food and it's not a drag to wait for an item because they get on that right away. I am extremely pleased because It is not easy for me to eat out I'm always so happy to find a nice spot which I can return to I highly recommend this Panda Express!!! read more

Usually acceptable quality food. However, today, the worst. String bean chicken breast stale and tasteless. String beans were tough and dry. Chicken also dry and tasteless. Broccoli beef looks like it was sitting there for hours. Very disappointed in this restaurant. Actually i have a stomach ache now after eating there. Again, VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!! read more

I was having a BDay party for my 12 year old today. Wanted to stay local and help out local businesses. Soooo with that I called in a "catering order" a month ago. I asked for 1 tray of orange chicken, one tray of KungPao, noodles & 20 egg rolls. 1 MONTH ago. I come in today and they have a 2 item entree for me ... yes a single person 2 item entree. Now I know why people don't stay local and go buy food elsewhere .. BUT come on doesn't the manager care enough to ask why someone would order a 2 item entree a month in advance ... now I'm having to wait an hour more while everyone is at the party. I don't have problems with the food here BUT DO NOT ORDER CATERING FROM HERE !!!! read more

Panda Express - Kung-pao chicken, Beijing beef, half and half combo - Chinese Near Me - Castaic, California

We waited 5 minutes for chow mein and they completely left it off the plate. The rice on the second place was dry and hard. I have been dissatisfied with this location several times before. Shame on me for thinking things may have improved at this store. Panda Express should be ashamed to have their name on this location. I love panda and will return to other locations but I will NEVER return to this one. read more

Make sure you ask for teriyaki sauce when you get the grilled teriyaki otherwise you'll have to go home and eat some dry ass chicken.
