SLOW!!!! After I finally got my food after 20 minutes (c'mon it's Panda Express, not some fancy Chinese Cuisine) the cashier had the nerve to tell me, not ask, tell me to 'hold on just a sec' - instead 'thanks for waiting'. And didn't really have made what I wanted. We finally get these awesome food places in the Arlington area - but then it gets blown by terrible customer service, or low to none sense of urgency read more

I absolutely love this location, it's been consistent and delicious every time we visit. We always get the family feast and it always satisfies. The staff is friendly and the open kitchen concept is wonderful. Fresh, tasty and worth the wait in line. My family and I dine here often; it fast and fresh food that's reasonably healthy for a great value, now you can't beat that; especially for a family of 6. When it's busy, it's busy and their slammed, but you see them working and you see them hustling... It's a popular and busy place because it's fresh and the healthiest choice among the surrounding fast food establishments, like I said though, It's worth the wait. read more

I wanted to let someone know that the employees are not following safety guidelines. The cooks were wearing face masks. Sounds great Right! Nope The masks are on their chins not covering their mouths and nose. The person taking payments had gloves on but was not changing them between customers, therefore creating cross contamination. I usually enjoy coming to this place for a quick meal but I won't return till this Covid virus is done. They need to educate their employees on the proper procedures for using gloves and masks. read more

I stopped in today for lunch and I had the fastest service I've gotten at any panda, the cooks honey walnut shrimp was exceptional and I was really happy with the energy I got from my server Kristen, she had a warm welcoming smile and great positive attitude! read more

There must have been some turn over in employees here. There is usually a line but they work hard and get people through as quickly as possible. Never had an issue with the food. I'm pretty sure its cleaner than the alternative fast food in the area. read more

Pretty good, clean bathrooms and clean tables which is pretty impressive with the quick turn around in customer traffic. Employees were friendly and the food was better than I remember. My kids had the panda Jr meals which were actually hearty portions for kids meals and the kids really liked their meals followed by the yummy chocolate chunk cookie. read more

Panda Express as a whole is pretty decent. This particular location is not. When the owner/manager guy is in there, you definitely get less food, and most of the more expensive stuff like shrimp is not hot and ready. The cleanliness of the establishment is pretty poor. They never seem to give you fortune cookies, you have to ask for them, and they are usually out of singles, so they make you buy their small packs of them. The food is usually just barely warm at best, so I assume its been sitting there for some time. read more

The customer service is great. The food is good. They have more selections than any Panda Express I've been to! If they don't have it out they can make it in 5-10 mins!! read more

Service is slow... after you finally get though the line they tell you they are out of the items you want and tell you 20 min to cook.. always a line out the door prepare to wait at least 35 min to receive food.. worst and most rude Panda Express I have ever been to read more

I love this Panda Express. I'm a regular here along with all my friends. They know me by name and are very friendly. Sometimes they can be a little snappy during a rush but we all go days like that. I really congratulate the servers for how well they deal with the a******s that come in they always got a smile and are very sweet even tho you can tell they're upset. Food freakin great and always consistent read more

I hate to be redundant but I am here to agree with most of the recent reviews. This place is awful. Besides the common complaints below, when they run out of food they tell you the wait will be "5 minutes" then it's more like 20-30. And yes, they pile up your food and let it sit there getting cold while you wait. I showed up one early afternoon to find a sign on the door saying they had no cook and wouldn't open until later in the day. I have been in the service industry and that should never happen. That's when the manager picks up the phone or throws on an apron and gets busy. I can't say I blame the staff though. I have never been there when they seemed like they had enough people. Who'd wanna get out of bed for that fresh hell? These days it's more of oddity to get the orange chicken when it tastes the way it used to. You're more likely to get the pasty , gross version and let me be clear..that dish never sits for hours like their other ones. So the product issue isn't caused from being left out too long. The problem is with prep or what corporate is giving them. Seems like the are in the process of ruining a good thing at this location. You can eat cheaper and better in Arlington. read more

Panda used to be my go to spot some chow mein and orange chicken what more can a girl ask for but last couple times I've driven the 20 minutes to get there from my home at close to noon and the store still isn't open which is crazy considering they have an opening time of 10:30. Also the times that they are open the wait times have been over 45 mins and the orange chicken has been like a darker color sauce pretty sure it was made with the teriyaki sauce tried to tell an employee and they didn't even bother fixing it. Won't be wasting my time at this location anymore maybe they should take the express off their name read more

Sat outside for a half hour waiting just to be told at 10:30 they didnt have anyone to cook the food. How is their an opening manager who cant cook? Why couldnt anyone come out and at least say they coukdnt open on time while we waited that long. Terrible service and we didnt even make it in the door. read more

Don't ever go at dinner time an expect to get out of there in under 25 min. Consistently out of orange chicken an no drive thru makes for super long lines. Poor workers r way under staffed an always frazzled due to lack of leadership. read more

The place looks clean but there isn't that many tables to eat in.

Eh. There ok I feel like I can get a much better bang for my buck elsewhere and whenever I'm there the service is below average to mediocre

Its okay if your in a hurry. I find it a little over priced for what you get. their chow main is not like regular Chinese restaurants as it is very dry. They also have no sweet and sour items. read more

PE has lost my business. Today I went in at 11:45 am, my lunch hour and they were out of rice. Then as I looked for something else Chicken products were out as well. Ended up leaving with no lunch today. Good luck PE. read more

Highly disappointed in this store and management should be ashamed. I went to buy dinner for the family and there were several people in line waiting for their food which was stacked up in the Styrofoam containers. A few people had already left the line and told us we should just go ahead and leave as they had waited for 40 minutes with no food. A gentleman who had paid was waiting for his meal and when they tried to give it to him he was concerned since it had been sitting there for so long that it was cold. One of the employees and then took his Styrofoam containers and emptied them back into the bowls in front of us waiting in line. So while the food was not good for that one customer apparently it was fine for the rest of us. My family has visited here many times and the food quality and service has just been going downhill. read more

I've been going to this location for a long time & never had a bad experience until today. After bringing it to the cashier's attention that there was a hair in my food she proceeded to get me another bowl made up while showing the dirty container to her coworkers. What really made me upset was how all 3 of them kept laughing at the situation while looking at the food like it was my problem that there was a hair in it. It was really disrespectful to be laughing & rolling their eyes in front of the customers. After getting the new bowl the fried rice had a burnt kerosene type of flavor & when I took that one back they all proceeded to roll their eyes again & even the manager in black uniform rolled her eyes and said "oh my god" with an irritated face. It's upsetting to have been treated that way for food that had hair in it & that didn't taste like it normally does. They acted like it was my fault & for them to be so obvious that they were annoyed and never once apologized for it, even the manager didn't apologize she just rolled her eyes. Also, before all the food fiasco went down when paying for my order I noticed that 2 of the employees were handling the green beans by hand when breaking them in half WITHOUT wearing any gloves and directly touching the food. It doesn't matter how well an employee washes their hands, food should never be handled directly without wearing any These new employees and manager are the worst crew that I've seen in this location and we've really enjoyed the previous employees. read more

Our family has been coming here for over a year and we have never had a bad experience. I have brought staff here for employee morale lunches and have always been pleased with the food and service. This week I chose this location to cater a business lunch for 30 people. Then, I read their reviews and were shocked. Well too late, I was already committed! And I'm glad I did! The food was great, party tray portions were amazing and the service spot on! Great job! More importantly, our employees loved it too! Got lots of compliments for the lunch selections. We'll be coming back. read more

Worst Panda Express ever!!! This is the third time I've tried this location and I'll never go back! The line was out the door, my orange chicken was "fresh" and it was nasty!!! My food was cold. My "beef" and broccoli didn't even have any beef in it!!! If I didnt wake in line so long I'd go back and return this nasty food, cuz I'm not even gonna eat it. Don't eat here! read more

I love Panda Express. DO NOT GO TO THE SMOKEY POINT STORE. 3 out of 3 times I've gone it has been terrible. TERRIBLE FOOD. Extremely greasy and no flavor. If you want a gut ache you should eat here. read more

This is my second time back in a while, and the management has gotten WAY better. The Manager there, I believe his name was Tai if I remember correctly. He was extremely polite and very out going so my lunch was fast and easy, and not to mention his customer service definitely brought my mood up! The store itself seems like it's improved with service and quality from the first time I went. Will definitely be coming back, thank you Tai for making my experience way better than my first time! read more

Coming to Panda Express is a real treat. The staff greet you with a smile, quick to ask if you want to sample anything, and are very polite and professional. The food is delicious but it is the staff is why I always return. read more

Very possibly the worst Panda Express ever. Almost ALWAYS out of pretty much everything. And there's always a 10-15 minute wait for things to get cooked. Must have a terrible manager/owner. Business in general is very unorganized and seems to be without any kind of immediate oversight. Not sure how they stay in business, but they are just horrible. So sad... read more

I am a fan of this place, friendly servers, greeted us when we opened the door, asked if we wanted to taste anything before ordering. Food was great--will go there again. read more

Ordered four meals last night that took 47 minutes to be ready. Ordered 3 chow mein and 1 rice and got 2 rice and 2 chow mein. The rice tasted like so stale I had to throw it out. This food was so terrible I will never eat panda express again. read more

treated very badly very rude i walked out since want to serve everyone but me who was first in line, food is crap anyway

came in yesterday, food was good but an employee was extremely rude and when i corrected my order to her she threw things around and was saying things under her breath the cashier was very sweet and nice. read more

They recently change their plates to take out. I normally order 1 to go but they made them so much smaller I had to get 2 plates to go. All the other panda express still have the original white big plate never going back to this location read more

Im staring off im gonna say the 2 stars are for service not for bad food.this panda had a hard time keeping the entrees full .It seems no matter what I feel like that trip they're either out of or scrappin the 20 min go bye im 20min later and saying they we're to busey. Today they had it then when it was my turn to order,.... Yep,you guessed it. Remains, bits n' pieces. I asked how long till more is ready then I hear it 15 min. K well I guess Ill wait! 20 min later. Well at least its fresh. read more

Food tastes great, most of the time. Evening dinner service is generally better than lunch time service, aside from the wait. Food is not prepared when they open at 10:30 so you basically have to be prepared to wait until 11, even when you order ahead online and it says it will be done at 10:30 / 10:45. If you open at 10:30 for business, your employees should be in at 10 / 10:15 preparing the food so it's ready to be served at 10:30, but I guess that's just my opinion. I am on a time crunch when I take my lunch at work and the wait kills me every time. I've also been served some pretty mediocre food at lunch, and I've had my order screwed up at lunch also. That has never been the case at dinner. Dinner is delicious every time, but the wait times are ridiculous. I have seen the line wrap around the entire dining area to the second entrance on several occasions. Obviously staff are preparing food fresh to order and most people are ordering more than one entree at a time in the evenings, but more staff should be hired to meet demand. At least one more person is needed to prepare food and at least one more person is needed at the front counter to expedite. The staff do the best with what they have and most are very proficient. I have waited in very long lines because I know I'll get delicious food. But I have also turned around and gone somewhere else. Sometimes circumstances just don't allow for waiting an hour at a time for food on a Friday night. It's also not a pleasant dine-in experience when the line is that long, because it's snaking through the tables right next to you, and there are usually impatient children waiting in line with their parents, making a fuss. I don't blame them. But I no longer dine-in when the line goes into the dining area. All in all, if you're willing and able to wait, the food is good at dinner time. I really don't blame the staff for the wait and hold no resentment towards them. But more people are needed to make this place as great as I know it can be. read more

I have never had a worse experience! I went in at 8pm and there were about 6 families and there was NO food! Every family was waiting for something of the order. They let the rest of the food just sit in containers for everyone while we all waited a the least 15 mins. They took our money before we even got our food so we felt obligated to wait. They didn't even have sweet an sour sauce. There was one particular guy that was doing nothing while the girls all rushed around and the other two guys were rushing to cook and he just stood there talking to anyone who walked by him and to one guy who was cooking about video games. I was so disgusted by the lack of service that we were given. The food that sat in the container was old and gross especially the chow mein. I then tried to call to speak to the manager and the phone number just went to a fax each time. read more
