Was a little hesitant to try out Panda as there were some other Yelpers that left less than favorable reviews, but I've ordered lunch specials here now multiple times and haven't been disappointed yet! Their lunch specials are $5.99 and they aren't stingy with the portion you get at all. 2 meals minimum from one lunch special. My wife and I can easily just share one for lunch. They have fountain sodas inside and plenty of seating if you want to eat in. South Carolina Board of Health rates them an A, so you can rest easy that it's a clean establishment. I've found the counter help to be friendly every time we've ordered and my order has always been ready in 10 to 15 minutes. So far we've tried their chicken lo mein lunch special as well as their sesame chicken. Both were keepers, especially at say 6 bucks for lunch. No WiFi, but I was expecting that. The chicken wings are tasty but very small for $9.00 you get 3 whole wings but today they were VERY small in size. I alway order the wings but today I was very disappoint in them. We have lived here for two years and have bought from here regularly since our first week. Nine out of ten times the food was excellent but the customer service has always been a little lacking. Typically, that's fine. That is until tonight when she screamed at my husband because she made the wrong order and the one correct had egg shells in it. Screamed and hung up the phone. I'm a little in shock but I must say not completely unexpected. I get that she probably deals with a lot of complaints and the restaurant business is hard but that... That was over the top. My husband brought the food back to have it fixed and she accused us of stealing an egg roll (we did not eat but accidentally left at home) and would not give his debit card back. Of course, he offered to pay for the egg roll but she said no and that he needed to get in trouble by the police for stealing. She went bat crap crazy yelling while they waited for the police to arrive. They came and were just as confused. The solution? She return his money and he paid for the egg roll. What a great solution! Lol You can't make this up! What a bizarre situation. My husband is a first responder and a mental health counselor (a possible patient in the future?) not someone that is going around causing trouble. So strange! I hope she gets the help she needs. I say that with sincerity. Also, she was very racist. I am sitting down to eat and what a disappointment. After paying over $ 20.00 for our meal it all tastes like food cooked the day before. The chicken sticks were tough and you can only eat the insides. The rice is hard and flavorless and had onions, which I requested to be omitted from the dish. I guess she was too busy stocking more containers and talking to the cook. Finally she looked at me from the back area and said " what do you want?" I responded I would like to place an order. She walked up to the front and said" what is your order" and while I was telling her she didn't write anything down and ran my card and said " 15 minutes". I guess that is why my rice dish had tons of onions in it. I will take my business back to the restaurant by the Conway Hospital in the future when I have a craving. This place is bad and that's good. We were in the market for this and hit hit the spot perfectly. The prices aren't bad, on par for what we expected, and the food was good all around. We ordered take out so I don't know what the shop looked like inside, (the lady picked it up) but they got the order right, it was fast and the food was good so all around we were satisfied. Again this place has good bad Chinese so if that's what you're looking for then check them out.
