The pork fried frice was delicious. The rice was properly cooked with onions, bean sprouts, and fried egg. They made it the original way, no short cuts. The scallion patties were new to me. It was a little greasy and could have used a little seasoning. I heated them in the microwave on a paper towel and seasoned them with a little salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder. Orders are always ready for pick-up within 15 minutes. Service is very friendly. I haven't used the online ordering system because it is so easy to just call in my order.

The Woodbridge area is not a hotbed for authentic Chinese cuisine so even though they offer some dishes that sound on paper to be less Chinese American like wonton noodle soup with roast pork (a Cantonese classic), it ended up being a mishmash of leftover stir fried veggies with lo mein noodles rather than the signature thin egg noodles and the wonton filling used a cheap cut of minced pork. The only saving grace was that the broth was not laden with MSG, which would have been expected to substitute for a well simmered broth. My advice is to stick with the Chinese American classics like lo mein, beef and broccoli, general Tao's chicken, etc since they execute them well and give two scoops of rice with a lunch special proving $7.95. I think they keep their costs down since it is curbside pickup without delivery or dine in, a consequence post-pandemic which they never decided to reverse. An excellent option if you want solid Chinese -American fare at below market price in the style of a drug deal pickup.
