I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Beijing Express. The food was completely lacking in flavor; bland, under-seasoned, and honestly some of the most tasteless Chinese food I've ever had. The dishes looked fine, but once you actually tasted them, there was no depth, no spice, no seasoning nothing that makes you want another bite. For the price, I expected much better quality and flavor. Unfortunately, this was a total letdown. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend it to anyone looking for authentic or even moderately flavorful food. Very disappointing experience overall. read more

Called ahead for pickup and was surprised how fast it was finished. I even made a mistake and quickly called back to fix it. Owners changed it super fast for me. I'm a regular customer and yesterday I order 2 shrimp fried rice my first container had a few shrimps but my second had 2 shrimp in my container. My first time going to this place. I tried the chicken wings and they were perfect; but expensive. J went a second time in same week and brought more wings this time for my son and he ate them all! Will go back again for wings only. I'm not sure if I want to buy anything else after reading some of the reviews about other food items. But the wings had me at first bite! Lol! Most things we've had we enjoy. They are quick and accurate, and fresh. They have ALWAYS gotten our order right. We like anything with stir-fried shrimp or beef here / they are really good at cooking shrimp properly (we often get shrimp with broccoli and Szechuan shrimp (nice mix of veggies in this), shrimp fried rice) and use quality good tasting beef (beef and mushroom and hot crispy beef are favorites.) Husband likes their chicken with broccoli. Also like their egg drop soup. Singapore noodles could use more spice but are good. General Tso is standard, pretty good with some crisp. Love their crab Rangoon. Their French fries and chicken tenders are really good too! Wings are plain but fried well - tasty juicy meat, very crispy skin and they are BIG. Fried rice is ok, but kind of weird like all fried rice we've had in Southern md - seems to be no soy sauce in it (if you put it on yourself it's better but I much prefer my soy sauce cooked in) it's just colored yellow with sprouts and onion and has no egg, doesn't really seem "fried". Avoid their Kung pao chicken - it's all celery and only like 5 peanuts, and flavor was way off. Hardly any nuts in cashew chicken either. Hot and sour soup was just not good. Wonton soup is super bland. Lemon chicken was sooooo bland. Also gyro meat tasted really weird to me, couldn't finish it (it's like 4 thin granola bars, and since was so thin it made the whole thing soggy. read more

I've ordered from them several times. I always get extra cocktail sauce for my jumbo shrimp. Today I order and pay pnline. I go without my wallet and of course this time they ask me for 50 cents for extra cocktails sauce. I'm beyond annoyed at the inconsistency and will not be return. read more

The wait was long but it seems like they'd are operating with a low number of staff (as any small business is at this moment). They give a lot of food for the price. This is you basic run of the mill Asian Carryout. Wings with Mumbo sauce, cheese steak egg rolls, beef & broccoli, shrimp fried rice all good. They are quick but not cheap. Had been going to this restaurant every couple of months for several years. However, I will NEVER step foot or spend a dime in this establishment again. The woman at the desk is rude, disrespectful and belligerent. I placed my order after having to repeat it several times. Her English is awful. When my food came out---it was wrong. She wanted to argue with me that was what I ordered. I'm over 50-yrs old.....I know what I ordered. She huffed and took the food out. After waiting another 10-min (total of 25 min) I asked where was my food since several people had come in ordered food and left. Finally my food came out......and it was wrong again! Right meat, wrong rice. I informed her because of her attitude I would never return to her establishment. Her nasty response was "whatever." We as a community need to stop patronizing establishments that don't respect us. I may not make that much of a difference, but this is $$ that they won't get from me ever again. I'm also letting everyone in the community know about their attitude and dis-respectfulness. They wouldn't tolerate it in their neighborhood and we shouldn't accept it from them in ours. For what this place is--an American-style Chinese carry out in Accokeek, MD--it hits all the marks! We get dinner from this place about once a week and we've never been disappointed. The fried rice, mei fun, and lo mein are top-tier and compete with any good Chinese place. Everything is reasonably priced and they give you free food or sodas depending on how much you spend. The kitchen looks very clean, and the service always comes with a smile. Love this place!!!! read more

So I gave this place another try and my review of a year or more back hasn't changed. I ordered triple delight and shrimp fried rice, simple dishes. Got home tasted the triple delight and the beef was very, very chewy and I ended up spitting most of it out, the few shrimp did not taste fresh at all and spit those out due to a weird taste. My granddaughter had shrimp fried rice and said it was OK but that the shrimp tasted a little weird so she didn't eat them. read more

I walked in and everything was neat and clean and I was surprised to see a large rice with my meal because a lot of places give you a small. I ordered the general tso's chicken which was tasty. I love Chinese food! My husband and I had not had any since early summer at P.F. Chang (so good). Anyway the restaurants in the area's fried rice is dry with just onions. Yuck! So we decided to try this carry out on a Friday evening. Well same rice. Yuck. House Mei Fun with chicken and shrimp. It had a very small amount of vegetables. My husband ordered vegetable egg foo Yun. It was pretty good but only because the vegetables are naturally good on their own. The food was not flavorful. It's ok for a carry out. In the future we'll opt for Thai in Waldorf. I still have a hunger for Chinese. We gotta find someplace closer then Virginia. read more

Worst Shrimp Fried Rice I ever had. Not good at all first and last time in that place. Another big down fall that really turned me off while waiting for my order, the woman behind the counter was very rude to a customer about his order.
