I'm a fan of Chinese food, but tough to satisfy. Panda Buffet does just that with its fresh sushi, hot buffet bars filled with numerous chicken, beef & pork dishes, fresh steamed Salmon, dim sum, a variety of cooked noodles, mushrooms galore and fresh crisp cooked broccoli & green beans. Beer & wine are available. Ice cream & Apple pie finish off a full meal. The price is just under $10 for lunch and about $13 for dinner. Dinner starts at 3:00pm. Jeniffer, the owner, is at the front with a big smile, and keeps an eagle eye on the buffet and tables. A wonderful wait staff will take drink orders and whisk away empty plates. Abby is great! Their Hot & Sour soup is restorative. It's my go-to meal when I'm not feeling well. They make it fresh. You can tell a lot about a Chinese kitchen by the look and taste of hot & sour soup. Have fun. Fairly flavorless and what wasn't was full of salt/sodium in an effort to compensate. None of the usual hints of chili, garlic, savory or other spices and herbs. Options were lacking from other buffets. Sushi was plain, again with no sauces or originality. The one tempura roll was cold and tough. Price was raised up for Father's Day, but the options didn't support it. Decor is tired and old. I would say pass on this one. read more

A comment about the staff: terrific! I wanted to make the young woman who greeted me the employee if the year. She was helpful and delightful! I have eaten here on a few occasions n to be frank its been a waste of money. The food was a bit dry, like it had been left out too long.. there really is no variety just your standard fried Chinese food. The rice had bits of cut up clam shell in it. They do have this beef soup/stew it's a bit spicy but it's full of flavor and delicious, unfortunately it's very rare when they have it out (its one of the reasons I went back again). I was pretty hungry when I ate here--so, did I eat the food? Well, yes, but it wasn't all that great. Like a few have previously stated, I too noticed several food bins amongst the buffet that hadn't been replenished or even stirred for quite some time. With that in mind, I carefully selected my lunch from some of the more attended-to dishes on the line. $6.99 lunch buffet - affordable and you get lots of chicken dishes like peanut chicken, orange chicken, buffalo chicken, etc. lots of American Chinese food. There's also American sushi _ rainbow roll, bbq chicken roll, crab with cream cheese, ocean salad, etc. The dining area and restroom are clean. I give it 3 stars because the food was pretty good. I tried panda buffet for the first time tonight. I was very happy to hear that the buffet was only $10 and very affordable and I was excited to see the large variety of food. Some things could've been a little hotter but overall the food was good quality and delicious. The sushi was great! The dessert bar is also commendable. Overall, really solid! read more

We ate at Panda Buffet last Sunday and had a great experience. The sushi was fresh, there were tons of options (even some I don't see on other buffets all the time, like rice noodles), and it was all hot and tasty. I could tell there was no MSG, and it wasn't overly salty. Someone else recommended the coconut shrimp, and it was really good. The frab (fake crab) was actually my favorite. The ambiance was nice with what sounded like Chinese music playing softly. Yes, the TV was on, but there was only one, and it was on mute. I find it amusing that people complained about them playing FoxNews -- no one ever complains when the TV is on a liberal channel. Either way, I didn't find it obtrusive at all. The service was minimal, but we didn't need anything so it was fine. We didn't go to the restrooms so I can't comment about that. The only negative things I can say is that there were very few name cards out, so it was hard to tell what some of the more unusual items were. The cost was also higher than I expected because they charge $11.99 on the weekends. I look forward to going back, maybe during the week next time. read more

To echo the other reviewers, I would avoid this place. We went for dinner on a Sunday night (5:30) and the place was pretty empty. The service was nice, with the waitress being very attentive. However, the food seemed like it was left out for awhile. The chickens dishes were stringy, dry, and rubbery. The fried items were your typical way to much fried breading and greasy insides. Even if you like buffets, I'd skip this place. read more

Gross! We decided to eat there today on a whim and left sorely disappointed. When we pulled in there were a lot of cars and so we figured it must be at least decent. Upon entering we were pleased to see a large buffet with very good looking food. Sadly nearly everything we tried looked great and tasted terrible! I am still confused as to how you make food that looks that good and tastes so bad. The only things we found that were good were the mushroom from the chicken and mushroom (the chicken itself was gross), and the doughnuts. Pretty lousy Chinese buffet. Selection is fine, but food quality was very poor. Much of the chicken was like rubber, dessert items tasted freezer burnt, etc. Server also smelled overwhelmingly like smoke, which only made an already bad dining experience even worse.
