This is a stall in the Columbus Circle subway "turnstile" market concourse. They make the drinks to order and are quick and customizable (% sugar, ice). The milk teas are non-dairy creamer so yay for the lactose intolerant. They have specials on Ritual and also have Clover (Perka) rewards in-store (1 free after 5) AND 15% with yelp check in ... Plus you get 3 extra clover stars with a Yelp review so there's a lot of incentives there! My reg bubble tea was good -- the boba was chewy and not too sweet. I'm into this place. read more

Sadly, I was pretty disappointed with Panda Bubble Tea. I really wanted to love this place, as there are no other boba spots near my new workplace. Even better, I pass by the underground market twice everyday during my commute, so it would have been extremely easy to fulfill my cravings. My review is for the Nutella milk tea only! I initially ordered a rose cream fizz, but was told by the cashier that they didn't have any fizz teas today. A little odd, given that that's the drink that is unique to this bubble tea store. Instead, I decided to go for a large Nutella milk tea with bubbles. Unfortunately, the drink barely tasted of Nutella and instead tasted like an extremely watered down chocolate milk. It was pretty good during the one or two sips some undissolved Nutella cake up the straw, but pretty sure this wasn't intentional. The aftertaste reminded me of water with a hint of plastic. Definitely needed a few more scoops of Nutella or even some sugar. The bubbles were decent, but I felt like they could be more generous with the amount given. Usually, I have to actively fish for bubbles before finishing my drink at other chains (it's so much harder getting them after there's no more tea), but with Panda Bubble Tea, I realized I was out of bubbles around the 1/3 mark. Maybe the other flavors are better, but for now, I'll probably just make a further trek to get bubble tea from other brands. read more

Visited New York this past weekend and wanted to try a new bubble tea place while there. Looked up places near me and Panda Bubble Tea came up and it had pretty good reviews and so I went for it. I ordered the oolong milk tea with boba, and I wasn't disappointed but I also wasn't happy with the quality. It was overly sweet -- I should have definitely asked for less sweetness -- and had a powdery aftertaste. I normally get oolong milk tea wherever I go, and I'm used to -- and expect -- a more floral/toasty tea flavor. The oolong milk tea I had from here was mostly just too sweet and sugary. However, the boba was pretty good. Can't complain about that. Overall, not bad. Not the best. read more

I'm an avid bubble tea drinker, I usually have it about once a day. I've personally been to this location 3 times since they opened since it's convenient when I'm hopping on/off the train and there isn't anything else nearby. They're inconsistent with their bubbles. Sometimes they are ok, but today I had it and they are hard as rock. To begin with, on average they are an OK bubble tea place, better than vivi, but not better than coco, Kung fu tea or boba guys. However at vivi, I have never had bubbles that are completely hard in the center. That's down to the quality of coffee shop boba or Chinese restaurant boba which I don't think is acceptable for a dedicated boba shop. Needs some quality control on standard boba. read more

I really enjoy bubble tea from here- many times I'm in a rush and need a good pick me up- and this was an awesome addition to the shops! I do not recommend the milk tea at Panda Bubble tea at all. I ordered the oolong milk tea and it tasted like water with a teaspoon of milk. It was just terrible. I couldn't taste the oolong at all. I asked the employees if they could add more tea, which they kindly did for me. They emptied half of the cup and refilled the rest of the cup with only oolong tea. It tasted exactly the same, super watered down milk.... I had my friends try it before and after, and they thought the same. A fun little bubble tea place in the Turnstyle Market. I kept seeing reviews and this place popping up on Yelp so I decided to try it. I regret none of it. They have a good selection of milk teas and a great Oreo Milkshake. My favorites are the Coconut Milk Tea and Vanilla Milk Tea. I have yet to try there food but will eventually. One of the things that this place gets right is not an overly sweet or overpowering taste of either tea and syrups and flavors so nothing takes over the other. It is also very refreshing which is great since some sweet drinks make you feel thirsty which is the opposite affect of what a drink is for. While it does get crowded, the workers are fast and nice so it goes by quickly. Can't wait for my next visit! read more

I requested for a roasted oolong milk tea with boba and got this. I am very upset as this tasted like pure milk and boba only. When I questioned the cashier she said this is how it is. If I wanted milk boba I should have just ordered milk boba. Not worth the price and I definitely won't be coming back. I'm a huge fan of the panda bubble tea franchise, but every time I go to this location at turnstyle market, the employees are rude, as if YOU are bothering them by trying to place an order. Recently, my mother placed her order (extra boba, no sugar) and the employee at the register (tall, male by her description) asked her quite rudely if there was anything more she'd like to change, three or four times with an attitude to the point of making her uncomfortable. Standard bubble tea. The tapioca bubbles are pretty small and chewy. When you order, sometimes they forget to ask you how much sugar you want in the tea. I found that asking for 50% sugar was the best option because otherwise it's pretty sugary. It's nice to grab this drink before getting on the train since the lid is sealed you don't have to worry about spilling it on anyone on the train! read more
