BEWARE: This business sells dangerously defective products and refuses to stand behind them…read more I purchased a bike from this establishment that literally BROKE IN HALF during a simple 10-mile ride. I was stranded and forced to walk home carrying the broken frame myself. When I contacted the owner and provided proof of the damage, he initially refused to issue a refund and only agreed to have the manufacturer send a replacement after repeated complaints. Unbelievably, the replacement bike ALSO broke in half just a few months later. At that point, instead of taking responsibility for selling two catastrophic failures, the owner told me he had already "given me a free bike" and refused to refund me. Selling one unsafe bike is unacceptable, selling two and then blaming the customer is outrageous. This business clearly does not care about customer safety, product quality, or basic accountability. A bike frame snapping in half is not a minor issue, it is a serious safety hazard that could have caused a major injury or worse. I would strongly advise anyone considering purchasing from this establishment to take their money elsewhere unless they enjoy wasting money on dangerous products and being ignored when something goes wrong.

Patient, knowledgeable, and entertaining (he has great anecdotes) he was able to cut through all the noise of buying a first bike and helped with understanding what to focus on and built up my confidence. If you are lucky enough to be able to seek Jim out, I highly recommend it. He is absolutely worth going to. Also if you're intimidated by thinking this is only for pro-cyclists, let my experience encourage you. He cares about your comfort and safety and confidence and fosters a love of cycling regardless of experience level. I'm a complete beginner and he only encouraged and supported my learning with no judgment or condescension which I greatly appreciate.

For a month and a half I tried to make an appointment with Jim, and he continually made excuses of why he could not meet with me. I tried to dispute this with my credit card because I had already paid in full first time I met with him. He contested the dispute. He would not refund me nor would he offer me a partial refund. I was looking forward to the bike fit for over a year. I am extremely dissatisfied with the way Jim treated me, and he lacks the integrity to run a business properly. I feel like a fool because I should've read the Google reviews before I spent the time and my money trusting Jim with my bike fit.

Art was patient with all of our questions, encouraging we pay attention to how the bike felt and giving us his expert feedback. The selection of affordable bikes and the fact that I didn't have to deal with bike racks while still having a full- size fat tire bike was a big deal for me . With so many different bike shops I visited, I wish I had visited Go Ebikes sooner. I am so happy with my purchase and knowing a 1-year warranty backs it up.

After waiting two weeks, I received a text saying the bike was ready and that the total would be $89.99, including parts and labor. When I arrived to pick up the bike, I was told the price would actually remain $120 because they had to order "special oil." I was confused since their text clearly stated $89.99 including parts and labor. I also mentioned that I appeared to have been double-charged and tried to show the owner the charge on his phone. He refused to look, checked his computer, and said it showed only one charge and told me to contact my credit card company. Later that day, my son rode his bike and came home after about an hour saying his rear brake wasn't working. He had to slam on his front brake to stop and ended up crashing. He came home with a bruised and scraped knee and a sprained wrist that now requires him to wear a brace for a month. I immediately called the shop and was told to bring the bike back in. The owner said the issue was a "glazed rotor" and that we needed a new rotor. I declined the additional service. What's concerning is that the bike was returned to us with a rear brake that did not function properly. Instead of taking responsibility, the owner accused my son of doing wheelies, which is simply not the case. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. The pricing was inconsistent, concerns about billing were dismissed, and most importantly, the bike was returned in an unsafe condition. I would strongly recommend others double-check their work before riding
