We happen to come to this restaurant during our way home from the beach, since we came with family members that are vegans. I hand the trash burger and a side salad which was amazing, my fries were not hot like asked them just warm. We had the cauliflower wings which were very good. We also got the Nashville hot fried cauliflower burger, which was very tasty . We tried a little of everything, they also have the chili cheese fries which were better than I imagine, very tasty. The dressing I ask for the ranch dressing but I did not like it, we asked for the orange vinaigrette which was awesome. The reason for the rating is that the waitress (Ab) was not friendly we had to keep asking her for things because she did not check on us unless she was bring food and that's how we got our stuff. There was this other waitress that was training a young man and she was great a d very attentive to her customers. Not sure when we will be back as we are traveling but my family loves this place and they will come back as sometimes people have bad days. Thanks read more

Absolutely delicious! Vegan or not you must try this place. Portion size, taste, price, and selection were perfect. So happy we stopped here for dinner after a day at the beach. Their image is just that, an image. The owners are not vegan and order in non vegan food to eat and feed their employees. They do not compost, they do not recycle, they are not scratch, they order in frozen product. I didn't know that I like kombucha until I came here! The bar bartender took the time to give us a sample of all kombuchas on tap, including a shandy. I loved that they were not very sour, unlike the bottled ones that you can usually find at the grocery stores. My favorites were the wild oats and the lavender hops. We ended up going home with a growler of the wild hops to make some kombucha mimosa, which was excellent. The place was dog-friendly, it even had dog treats for your furry friends. read more

I'm not a fan of kombucha, but if i were, they have a nice selection. The lavender lemonade is so tasty and refreshing, not overly sweet. The food however is on point. My husband is not a vegan and loves the food. They're always consistent. Never disappointed. The brunch menu is outstanding. Must try! I recently had (to go) the pimento cheeseburger with onion jam on a pretzel bun with a side of cavatappi pasta salad. The restaurant's decor is fun, and clean. My only gripe would be the service. They're not fast. I know, I know, it's not fast food but on a couple of occasions they take a while to take your order. Could be short staffed. Worth the wait though or order take out. read more

Ok, I started my plant based journey back in October and when I was visiting my family in Wilmington, we discovered Panacea Brewing. Full disclosure, my sister had seen the kambucha van around town but had never eaten there. Y'all, to eat food that your body actually finds fully nourishing is a gift! And that's what you get at Panacea Brewing. The burgers are just outstanding. So for an exceptional healthy meal, check this place out. Food was really, really good. Pimento cheese was so dang good, and the carolina burger was solid. Im not vegan, so id rather have a real burger, but it was still really good. Riblet sandwich was good if you want something with bbq sauce. Only thing off putting was service was nice but slow. Monday, while checking out the farmers market at Waterline I found this awesome local gem. Panacea is husband and wife couple that makes delicious craft Kombucha. I have had Kombucha before but I have never been a fan of any of the bottled brands. When I approached the table, owners Art and Robin were ready with multiple samples of their locally brewed fermented tea. I have heard from others that Kombucha is good for acid reflux so I asked about all the health benefits. Both owners were a wealth of knowledge and really know a lot about Kombucha. Apparently it's also a probiotic and high in vitamin b. Art, shared that he also had a history of acid reflux but had found that a pint of Kombucha twice a day eliminated his symptoms better than traditional over the counter medicine. After hearing all the amazing qualities and tasting multiple samples I decided to purchase a liter to take home. Unfortunately, I finished the liter in two days but for those two days I had no acid reflux symptoms which is a miracle. I'll be sure to find them around town soon for a refill. Prices are very affordable and I love how they do a discount for refills using their glass bottles. My only complaint is that the bottle is very difficult to open...guess I need to work on my upper body strength. read more

You haven't had Kombucha until you have Panacea Kombucha. It's an art and they have mastered it. Seven or eight flavors per day, always changing, at their small tasting room. Local breweries and restaurants are starting to carry it as well. It's not sweet, healthy and lightly carbonated. I have given it to people who say they don't care for Kombucha and they love this version. read more

My vegan daughter took me here and boy was I nervous about getting a good meal. Well I tell you what, I needed not have worried. It was delicious. We started with the chili nachos. (Everything is plant based). They were just as yummy and delicious and yes messy hahaha as "regular" nachos. I had the trash burger. An odd name for something so delectable. Tastes almost -not quite- like real meat but that didn't matter. It was fantastic. My daughter had the Nashville hot cauliflower sandwich with a side of pasta salad. I tried it and it was mid blowing. Tasted like a buffalo chicken wing. For dessert, we shared a chocolate Brownie and a piece of peanut butter cheesecake. All I'll say is wow! The cheesecake was even better that the regular cheesecake as it didn't have the sour taste some cheesecake has. It was more like a light mousse. A delicious dinner overall. read more

My favorite restaurant, maybe ever. I lived in Raleigh for 8 months and drove to Wilmington JUST to go to Panacea at least 10 times. Everything on the menu is a hit and I love how they change it up so often. The outside patio is so fun too, especially when there's live music or vendors, which is very often. Went off our travel course a few miles to get our vegan son some food. It did not disappoint! House salad with Caesar dressing was incredible. Spring rolls and dips were terrific Tacos, hummus, soup and wraps were also very good. Fresh, tasty, highly recommend. Go out of your way for this food, even if you aren't vegan. read more
