I wouldn't wish what I endured on my worst enemy and have never ordered from there again.

We had a lovely curry here two weeks ago. The food was freshly cooked and delicious with a lot of choice of the menu, and the service was excellent. There were only a couple other tables occupied when we arrived. They sat us next to a large temple/shrine type of area where it looked like you could eat while sitting on large floor cushions at a very low table. We started with the sweetcorn cakes and were blown away by how much we loved these!! Crispy, piping hot, with a slightly sweet chili sauce for a nice kick. We considered ordering another plate of these and now I wish we had. For my entree I got the vegan pad ka prao and it was delicious. My partner tasted mine and wished he had ordered the same thing. His noodle dish was good but mine, although vegan, was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The only negative thing I have to say is that rice wasn't included in the price of my entree, so I had to order it separately. Otherwise the service was great and the food was delicious, with a clearly labeled menu of vegan options. Love that!

Also, the rice was done to perfection. I am a little suspicious of any Thai place that doesn't have a lot of bamboo shoots in their dishes but I suspect its a mix of local custom and the fact that this is really sort Thai / Chinese mix of cuisines (lots of duck). My Mom used to make these for us when we were kids. They are still delicious. For dinner we ordered the coconut rice, green veggie curry, and Pad Thai. The Pad Thai was the best item we ate. I was actually pretty impressed with the food. The curry we ordered tasted great, I only wish the veggies were more authentic. The servers were pleasant and our food came out really fast even though the restaurant was full. My only suggestion is that the restaurant and especially the bar needs a bit of a clearing out /facelift.

As we both love Thai food we thought this would be ok. Once you stepped over the threshold you never felt like you were in a mall. It was a large space, not many people eating but it was late. It smelled so good I had to keep reminding myself to wait! And, sad to say, I don't remember what my boyfriend ordered because I was so focused on my own meal. I do know that he enjoyed it! If you walk right through Somebody Cares you will get to the building which the Thai cafe is in. So on entering they have the menu is displayed. In addition to the Thai food there are cakes, coffee and crisps. We ordered spring rolls (7 for £5 on this day, special offer) and I had Panyang Chicken (I think I've spelled that wrong) with rice. One friend had the combo (which was Panyang chicken and some pork with garlic - so 2 mains!) and the other had Tom yum with rice. You pay at the counter and they bring the food out. Which is great as you can leave when finished. For 3 mains, spring rolls, extra carrot salad and 3 drinks it cost £34. Good price. The food was amazing. I wanted more but restrained myself.
