Spanglish Fly at the 25th Annual JazzFeast 9/18/2016

At first, I thought Palmer Square was just The Green, but then I realized it's The Green and surrounding shops and restaurants. I went to Palmer Square for the first time today to check out Jazz Fest, a free musical event with performances on The Green. There were also local food and brewery vendors that had set up stands - Nomad Pizza, Mediterra, Triumph Brewery, etc. It almost felt like a block party. It was tons of fun. This is just one of the events that take place at Palmer Square. If you are visiting Princeton, I recommend walking around this part of the town. You can window shop (or real shop if you are into that and into the higher end stores here), have a nice meal at any of the many restaurants and cafes, and sit and relax on a bench in The Green.

Very nice little square with some shops. Excellent architecture. At Christmas there's a giant tree. The only shop I visited was Thomas Sweet Shop. The chocolate was good but a little pricey. The window display is small but worth checking out. If the ice rink is open caution it's not real ice.

I love this cute little square. Christmas tree in the winter is beautiful but the square becomes even more beautiful in the summer.

I sent an email to ask why my order was cancelled, since payment still showed as pending on my bank account overview. No response whatsoever. Ordered the book once more on their website, this time using a different credit card. Got an order confirmation and the book arrived in the mail within days. Yet my payment for the previously cancelled order went through and was taken out of my account. Called 'Customer Service', explained the whole thing to a lady in Alabama. She told me my order number did not exist in the system and requested I should send a letter with the order confirmation + cancellation as attachments to her email address. Everything was returned as 'this email address cannot receive your message'.Sent her a letter in the mail with all paper copies of everything. Got another copy of the book in the mail. Now I have 2 copies of the same book, and I needed only one. Never got ANY reply on the letter I sent. Lost quite some time dealing with this mess.Ended up sending the second copy (John Adams, 'The Fear of American Oligarchy' to my friend who lives retired on Crete, Greece. Good for him. Just a nasty experience for me with what I believed to be a dignified publishing house. No ladies and gents: They mess up big time and can't even find the courtesy to reply.Be ware ordering directly from their site!!!

Stopped by Labyrinth Books while exploring Princeton and absolutely loved the vibe of the store…read more The moment you walk in, it gives that classic old-town bookstore feeling that perfectly matches Princeton's historic charm. The collection of books is impressive, ranging from fiction and philosophy to academic and rare-interest topics. What I really liked was how thoughtfully the books were arranged. You can easily spend a long time just walking through different sections and discovering titles you normally wouldn't notice online. The store has a calm, cozy atmosphere that makes you want to slow down and enjoy browsing. The wooden interiors, quiet corners, and intellectual vibe make it feel very connected to the Princeton University culture. It almost feels like stepping into a bookstore from an old movie or a small European town. The staff members were friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to give recommendations. Even if you are not planning to buy anything, it's still a wonderful place to spend some peaceful time while exploring Princeton. For book lovers, this place is definitely more than just a bookstore -- it's part of the whole Princeton experience.

Better than any commercial book store. The prices were standard along the lines of a B&N, and the store did offer many sale items and books. Everyone working in the store was very friendly and attentive. Will go back if I'm in Princeton again.
