Other oral surgeons I had met with did not have a good bedside manner. Dr. Tadros was completely different: kind, gentle, listened and addressed my fears and confident (as he should be.) I chose to be awake during the procedure. The shots were not painful. It took seconds for him to pull the teeth. I highly recommend him for any oral surgery needs you have and might have been putting off. .

I found Hill Country Oral Surgery on Yelp and Google and decided to give it a try. The office is clean and modern, with comfortable seating, Wi-Fi, and even a mini fridge stocked with water. The entire staff was amazing--from day one they made sure I had all the information I needed, and they were super helpful in checking in after the procedure to make sure I was doing well. Dr. Cavaretta really listened to my concerns, and because I was anxious, we chose to go the anesthesia route. Lizette and George (the day-of care team) were fantastic and made me feel completely at ease throughout. I was in and out quickly and am already anticipating a smooth recovery. Hopefully there won't be a next time, but if there is--I'm definitely coming back here!

I would like to first and foremost give a shout out to Mona at the Buda office!! She is very…read morepatient and knowledgeable and answered all our preliminary questions before even booking an appointment and she continued to be so helpful during the whole 3 week process of the initial phone call to consult to surgery. She even called me back after office hours after I left my first message and helped us get the ball rolling. She definitely went above and beyond. Thank you Mona!! My 22 yr old daughter needed an extraction with graft/implant along with recommending all 4 wisdom teeth be removed. We opted to only have the one removed next to the graft and they honored our wishes without berating us. I had done a lot of research on pros and cons of wisdom teeth removal so I fully expected based on others experience with other surgeons to have them really insist all 4 be done now but we felt it was best to wait and see. My daughter ended up having to go to the Westlake office for the surgery bc of scheduling. She had the procedure on Friday and today is post op day 4 and she is doing wonderful! She has had very little pain. She followed all their post op instructions carefully and also did a lot of things to boost her immune system/healing such as supplements and good nutrition. I was super happy to find out Dr R does PRF (platelet rich fibrin placement) into the extracted area which I think also really helps the healing process. I also know having a skilled surgeon is why she is healing well with little pain. She has to of course wait for the implant in several months but so far so good. I'll try to remember to update down the road but so far so good. Thank you to Dr Rasmussen and team.

Yes, I am in my 30's and getting my wisdom tooth pulled. I'm a bit of a procrastinator…read more Dr. Steven Perkins was recommended to me by my dentist, Dr. Hoppe. According to her, he has pulled every wisdom tooth in Westlake for the last 20 years. I have no facts to back that up, just what I have heard. Anyway, I went in for my consultation. (I love docs that take the time to discuss a procedure with you before you actually have it done) He suggested that I have just a local anesthesia since we were only pulling one tooth. When he saw the look of fear in my face, he immediately said, "But how about we just put you under?" YES! Thank you. Dr. Perkins is very sweet and personally called me that evening to see how I was feeling. The next day, I had trouble getting my wound to stop bleeding and his staff called me every half hour offering suggestions and checking on me until it stopped. So if you are looking for an oral surgeon in the area, I would highly recommend him.

When I called for the consultation, the receptionist also booked my surgery for the following day. So, between seeing Dr. Tyree and Dr. Perkins, I only had to wait a week! I hate having to wait for an appointment. The consult was pretty straight forward. The dental assistant put on a video that described the process, Dr. Perkins came in and answered my questions, and wrote prescriptions for pain and antibiotics. He was even able to move my surgery up an hour and a half so I wouldn't be hungry all day. (I had a light IV sedation.) The day of surgery, I was seen quickly, changed into a Hill Country Oral Surgery T-shirt and taken back to the room where the procedure was done. Even though I had a light sedation, I was completely knocked out. I don't remember anything about the procedure. All I know is, I woke up, and my teeth were gone! The after care nurse was very kind and explained everything to me and my boyfriend for what I needed to do when I got home. Once I was ready, she wheeled me out to the car. Dr. Perkins called to check on me later that day, which was a nice touch. But, the best part is I had very little pain after the surgery. I think I took pain meds for about a day and after that I didn't need them. That really speaks to the skill of Dr. Perkins.
