This was our favorite beachside restaurant. The waitress spoke perfect english as did most of the people we encountered in Portugal. Was super friendly. We did a few petiscos or small plates. And went with the local favorites. The sardines and sheeps cheese were both amazing. (Or bread to go with them.) The salted cod salad and the soup (kind of like their version of gazpacho) were decent and refreshing on a hot day. The fish is fresh so they do run out of certain things. (In our case they were out of clams.) The prices were extremely reasonable for fresh seafood let alone being directly on the beach. We were there in Sept so the beaches were quiet and this was a perfect place for a relaxing lunch. read more
