We ordered the fried sardines and friend prawns as an appetizer, absolutely delicious! I am not a sardine eater, but so glad I tried. Would eat again! For dinner we shared the shellfish cataplana, monkfish rice, and a whole grilled sea bass. Everything was absolutely delicious! The sea bass was beautifully cooked on the grill and filleted at the table. Bruno was our host, he was very helpful and friendly with guiding us and explaining the meals. He was very funny as well! We enjoyed everything from start to finish. We ended the meal with a lovely port wine.

Everyone was friendly and accommodating to our group. Bacalhau na brasa was good - but if I had to pick one thing that I'll always remember this place by is the melon with port (which I got out of curiosity) and the friendly staff. Overall great spot if your in the area. They have a wide range of food choices and my group of 5 were all satisfied. Another perk of this spot is it's right next to the rental chairs so you can always have easy access to snacks if your at the beach for an extended amount of time.

The sauce it was served on top of was flavorless. The black rice risotto was the best part of the dish. The braised scallops were ok by themselves but the mango sauce again was very weak. For the price I would have also expected more than 5 small scallops over a flavorless mango sauce. The pork loin was also very bland and a bit undercooked. I think if it had been done right it probably would have been dry. So if you are looking for a place where the ambience and service are good but don't care much about flavor, this place is great for you.

Unfortunately there were only two people serving so it took sometimes very long for the drinks and the food to come to our table. The convert was a little disappointing coming the pate in a can, see picture. But the salad and the fish was good as well as the desert. We also got a tasty fruity white wine. For three people it took 83 eur at all. A little pricy as the plates could be fuller for that. The view is great and sitting outside in the garden is great. It is not noisy and they have 5 tables outside and some on the terrace with is roofed. All in all we had great good but some long wait time. The menu has a good variety, so come here to get some other dishes you cannot find elsewhere.
