The service and friendliness of the staff was superb. The place is very nice with a pleasant atmosphere and a nice view of the main strip near the bottom of the hill. The food was very nicely plated and presented. The wine list was nice and the waiter recommended a nice white wine for us to pair with our chosen meals. However that was the extent of it really. Although that's where the stars ended. The food was pretty, but the flavor was just ok, pretty bland at that. The monkfish was a bit over cooked and tough and the almond crust was dry. The sauce it was served on top of was flavorless. The black rice risotto was the best part of the dish. The braised scallops were ok by themselves but the mango sauce again was very weak. For the price I would have also expected more than 5 small scallops over a flavorless mango sauce. The pork loin was also very bland and a bit undercooked. I think if it had been done right it probably would have been dry. So if you are looking for a place where the ambience and service are good but don't care much about flavor, this place is great for you. read more
