We worked to refine the look throughout the trial and she took detailed notes to be sure and recreate the look on the actual day months later. She arrived early, was willing to step and in help with day-of tasks outside of her norm, and was encouraging and fun to have around on the important day. Hanna came recommended by a friend who trusts Hanna with all her hair needs and has for many years - if I lived locally I too would go to Hanna. Was happy to have her for this special event though!

The main reason I went in this time was to fix a botched V-shape so I just needed to even it out, get in some layers, and most importantly, take off weight (my hair is extremely thick and I have a lot of it). Hanna listened and gave her own expert input, and I walked out with the best hair cut I've had in literal years. So, so happy to have found her. Oh, and her prices are ridiculously good, like I would've expected to pay at least $15-30 more than what I did.

Some backstory (if you care), I'm originally from Houston and moved to DFW in May 2022 after getting married. I had been going to my Curly Hair specialist in Houston since 2016 and tried to continue going after moving, but it was just not practical and sustainable with my hectic schedule. I knew I needed to find a new expert, but I'm sure everyone reading this understands how stressful this process is. I did extensive research to find a DFW Curly experts and came across 2 options and Lorens was one. She actually even recommended the 2nd person I was already eyeing in case her own availability didn't work for me - shows you how sweet of a human and supportive of her fellow curl experts she is! After looking at reviews, pictures, her socials etc I booked an appointment and I am thoroughly satisfied! My curls have been on a journey since 2016 and she took the time to understand that journey and me! She is truly more than just a hair stylist. Although I had experience with curly cuts and other curly hair related appointments in the past, she still treated me with the same amount of care and educated me and made me feel amazing about my hair and self when I walked out! She has such a radiating aura and it didn't seem like she was just asking me about my hair and my life because she HAD to, but she wanted to get to know me on a deeper level. I'm so excited to go see her again, this time at the new studio and I've posted about her all over my socials and have had 2 friends go and visit her and loved their experience as well. I definitely recommend you to see her whether you're a rookie or a vet to the curl hair game!

Were my curls "still there" or had I ruined them with heat and irons? Would I be able to manage the styling, control the frizz, and look pretty, professional and young(ish)? Could I find a coach (not just a YouTube tutorial) to take time with me to learn this new curly way of life? Yes, yes and yes -- thanks to Lorens. She was perfect. So kind, so fun, so understanding -- as much a beauty therapist as a curl style expert, she introduced me to the "curl journey" and I am so glad I did it! I don't have a picture to post...maybe down the road...but she did a beautiful job with a minimal cut (I didn't want to go too short, as curls already pull up a hairstyle), walking me through the products and steps to get the defined style I wanted, and making me feel beautiful! I love my Blo drybar girls and am grateful to them for years of making me feel my best. But I am happier now to work with (and not fight against) my natural curls and have confidence to try different products and techniques to style the way I want at home. Less time, less money! Go see Lorens. You will be so happy you did!

We've gone ash blonde, to strawberry, to beautiful rich reds, back to buttery blonde and back to red again and the end product is perfect every time. She also does a wonderful job of maintaining the integrity of my hair and making sure we keep it healthy in the process. She always takes the time to listen to me (very poorly) attempt to tell her what I want. Not being in the hair business myself, it's hard for me to explain my vision sometimes and somehow she still nails it. She's patient and thoughtful and really cares about her clients and it shows. I'm also a big fan of the salon in general - the owners are super nice and very humble which is rare to find in Dallas. The environment is relaxed and everyone is friendly and welcoming and the clients seem to be very loyal/long term and it's no wonder why. Come see Katie - you won't regret it I promise!!

I had finally grown my hair out and wanted soft layers again, but I just couldn't find a stylist in Dallas who understood what I was looking for -- until I found Christina at Pin Salon. A friend recommended the salon, and from the moment I met Christina, I felt at ease. She took the time to look at photos, talk through my concerns, and explain exactly how she could bring movement and shape back into my hair without risking another disaster. Her patience and attention to detail were incredibly reassuring. I walked in for a consultation... and walked out with the best haircut I've had in over three years! My hair finally looks like me again -- soft, fresh, and perfectly layered. I've already received so many compliments on how great my hair looks. If you've been traumatized by bad cuts or are simply looking for someone truly skilled with layers, Christina is the one. I couldn't be happier!

Let me start by saying Pascale is a hair magician!…read more On Monday night I got THE worst hair color I have ever had. I debated coloring it myself to try and correct. Then I looked online and people said it could turn green. So I shared on fb and a friend told me to check out Pascale. I looked at her Yelp reviews and saw the great one from Taylor C. about color correction. So first thing Tuesday I called. After hearing about the tragedy of my hair Pascale said she could get me in today (Wed). I figured if she couldn't fix it I would just cut it off and start over. Thankfully that didn't have to happen. First off, her salon suite is clean, decorated adorably, and she is so welcoming and personable. She expressed that she likes the challenge of color correction but that mine was some of the worst she's seen (story of my life). Needless to say, she gave me suggestions of what she could do. She did an AMAZING job. She restored me back to a great base color then added the highlights and lowlights I wanted. I LOVE my hair now. Love it! Pascale is my hair person from now on. So thankful I found her and will look forward to seeing what she does next time.
