The road is narrowed, there is only room for one vehicle and there is not much light at night.

The park is very simple, with limited services for the price it is a bit expensive. It is not quiet as many reviews say, dogs run loose in the park without owner's supervision. There isn't much to do but to stay inside your RV. I noticed some of the good reviews were made by the owners, people who work here, family and owner's friends. It was much less than what I was expecting. Also, keep in mind that you have to pay fees on top of rent payment. Fees like for using their bathrooms or the pool. The road is narrowed, there is only room for one vehicle and there is not much light at night. I recommend everyone to come and drive through the park at different times before renting here. No wifi, no cable, and phone service did not work here.

Last minute camping trip and we were not disappointed. Theresa, I'm guessing she manages the property is awesome and so accommodating, she let us stay a little after checkout so that my son could enjoy the pool a little longer. Someone Yelp that is difficult to get here due to the roads, not true. There is an Unpaved small road to get to the campground but is right when you turn to the road where it's situated. I loved how the camping sites were right next to the pool. Everything was very clean from pool to entire campground. They have a small store, just incase you forgot to bring the necessities. You gotta check out the super cute area they created up on the hill. It it's kinda like a meditating area with lots of areas to sit and enjoy the scenery, oh and the animals they got up there too i.e ducks, doves and tortoise. Ah and the goats you won't miss the goats, super cute too.

I went to the Palm View RV park and campgrounds a couple months ago with my 2 service dogs with the intentiions of renting a campsite for a week, setting up a tent and enjoy the outdoors for week. When Mr Douglas Campbell, manager/owner showed up after making us wait 2 hrs while ran errands he quickly informed me that me and my dogs were not welcome there. His reason was that my service dogs were to big to be service dogs and over the size limit he allows in the RV park. My dogs sat in the car this entire time waiting patiently. Mr Campbell refused to hear of the extensive training my dogs have underwent to become Service dogs. I am 66 yrs old, disabled and US Army Vet. but yet Mr Campbell saw fit to violate my civil rights in denying me and my service dogs access to the campsite at Palm View RV park and campgrounds. He seems to think he's above following the ADA accommodations for the disabled and those with service dogs. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I say stay far away. I hereby demand that Mr Douglas Campbell make payment to me in the amount of $5000 for violating my Civil Rights. If this demand is not satisfied I fully intend to take further legal actions.

The bathrooms were locked. They change the code weekly so to be safer. Our campsite had no picnic table but we didn't need one since it rained our whole trip. It kinda looked like a neighbor camper had two tables so maybe someone needed two before we arrived. There are campsites that flooded during the storm. Kinda typical. We were only staying for three nights so I can't vouch for anything longer. We did get lost looking for our campsite every time we needed to find it. It's hard to figure out how to get around in this place. Very dark at night and very quiet which I loved.

We were there two days and we had empty sites next to each other the entire time. Very poor navigation while inside Park. ( No exit signs at all so we were constantly going in circles. ) More full time OLD rigs with lots of garbage around thir rigs. Almost like hoarders collections. Probably the biggest problem was geese and duck population. Poop everywhere and the noice level starting at 5:30 am through dusk. Trash pickup finally did come.... someone finally weekwhacked weeds (no grass whatsoever) Trash, cigarettes butts, glass everywhere. Sorry Thousand Trails, I know you can do so much better!!

It was a bit crowded at our campsite, which is to be expected in the summer. The lake itself was fine, but the bathrooms and showers need some attention because most of them were not working. I don't remember the trash policy for campers, but we saw many people leaving all of their trash bags at their campsite when they went home. There were homeless people walking onto campsites to ask for money. Several campers had their cars broken into overnight as well. It seems like this campsite isn't well maintained and the experience left a lot to be desired.

This location is an absolute insult to all Thousand Trails locations and should not share the name…read more Had this been our very first thousand trails stay, and not our last, we would have never ventured to the dozens of locations we did over the years and for that I am thankful. We have loved and utilized our annual membership up until staying here. This place is a disgrace and I strongly urge anyone wanting to visit to stay elsewhere. Unfortunately the people who run this location are unprofessional, sloppy, disorderly and do not know how to properly run a camp site. We stayed here earlier this month and no one was at the front office and we never received an email that had a spot number. We called and text the ranger several times and never received a response. After a long drive with 3 kids we just parked in the first spot we saw available assuming it was first come first serve since we never were given an assigned spot. The second day a ranger comes up to us later in the day after we were all unpacked and settled and told us we had to move, to an entirely different park! They were so rude and we let them know absolutely not, we were not moving because of their mess up. The lady took it real personal and made it her vendetta to somehow make us pay for her mistake?? She started threatening us and telling us she would have us suspended from thousand trails which we didn't care because this was our last trip on our membership that expired the following week and after this experience we definitely didn't want to renew. But then we got a letter saying we owed a fee for a late check out when we left at 10am!!! What a scam. This lady is absolutely insane that it's laughable. I truly cannot believe thousand trails has someone like that being the face of that campground.

Only saw long term tenants, good spots are for "members only" but there is no way to become a member. They say they have free wifi but no one has the password and you have to park really, really close to the "club house". The only reason I give it two stars is because the people who work there are nice and it was super cheap ($32 per night) with no additional charges for kids, dogs, vehicles, boats, etc. They said "park where ever you want and take the spot next to you for the boat!" It was three minutes from lake and has 50 amp and full site hook ups. But don't expect any luxury!

I later received a response claiming I had spoken with the manager "several times," which is completely inaccurate. The explanation for delayed response was that they were handling a high volume of inquiries and prioritize current tenants and applicants. While that may be true internally, from a customer perspective, the only thing visible is the lack of response and the tone of communication which came across as dismissive and unprofessional. I was also told that I wasn't technically a "customer," implying that this level of service was acceptable. How businesses treat prospective customers says everything about their standards. Professionalism shouldn't depend on whether someone has already signed a lease.
