Everything from bedding to checkered socks, not only was it complete in one day but the organization and neat folding was astounding. I dropped my large washable rug off at Palm Laundry at 10AM on a Friday and was charged $10 over the fee I paid the previous time, and I could only pay in cash... SKETCH, but whatever. I'm already committed and just want to get this f***ing rug cleaned. I received a text at 1PM that stated my rug was ready for pick up, I attempted to get it at 1:15PM, 1:45PM, 2:25PM, and 3:30PM, each time the staff room was locked with a sign saying, "back in 30 minutes" which apparently meant "I went home for the weekend." I was unable to pick up my rug until the following Monday. Upon returning home and removing it from the plastic bag it was in, I learned that the staff at Palm Laundry is so lazy that they failed to even completely dry the rug before bagging it and letting it ferment for three days. The entire rug reeked of mildew and needed to be rewashed. Thankfully, A.B. Brite was able to do the job at nearly half the price. If Palm Laundry was the only place on the planet I could get my children's clothes cleaned, I would force them to wear dirty clothes until Child Protection Services took them away before I'd give Palm Laundry another cent or moment of my time. I would rather have three more bums living at the adjacent 7/11 than have this trash business in my neighborhood. In a nutshell: Palm Laundry has sketchy business practices and terrible service. I do my laundry here at least once a week. sometimes I use the drop off service. the machines are clean and most of them work all the time (unlike most laundromats). the prices are the same as AB up the street but what brings me back is the people. dawn, Laura, rojelia and rob are awesome. cool people that take their jobs but not themselves seriously. On our way to the outlets this morning we stopped for breakfast and do some laundry on the way. While at breakfast I looked up a good place for laundry. Just around the corner was this place and had great reviews. Took a minute to find it since it's so hidden in the corner but great location. It shares a parking lot with 7-11 which makes for easy snacking or slurpee'ing while doing laundry. While there we met the owner, very nice guy! I'm glad we met him cause I couldn't tell if this laundromat was on its way in or on its way out! The machines were looking a little worse for wear, and some cosmetic issues. After talking with him I found that he recently purchased this location and is in the middle of rehabbing. That explained it! I noticed that some things were shiny and new and some thing seemed in the middle of repair. I'm happy to know that he's slowly updating everything. I was also happy to tell him I had a hard time finding the little gem and he said he's working on a new sign too! Looking forward to the future of this place! This is our laundry mat of choice in IB. It's close to home, always clean, and for the most part the machines always working and accessible. The washers and dryers are coin operated, but there's a change machine inside so it's very convenient . Last week a dryer ate my quarters and wouldn't work, so I filled out a refund card and within two days they refunded my money for the dryer. Occasionally we have to wait for open washers when it gets busy, but we just go next door and get great Mexican food, so no biggie! read more

Wow! Clean, Safe, Comfortable. Came in with a gigantic comforter that needed immediate cleaning. Michelle was so helpful, came and helped me. She weighed this and said she could have it back to me in just a few hours for a low, low price. I look around and notice that this place has new counters, new paint, just a new look all around. The machines are quieter than most, the atmosphere is filled with good vibes. Great place to tune out and read a book while waiting for my laundry to get done! Next door is a liquor/tobacco shop, a Mexican cafe and a 7-11. I'm certain to get all my vices satiated while my clothes get cleaned! read more

The prices are decent, the facility is clean, the television works and they have someone here to assist you with issues or process wash and fold service. All in all, it's everything you need in a laundromat that offers wash and fold service. They also have a good WiFi signal here, so bring your laptop and get some work done while you get your laundry done. The temperature is amazingly cool given the heat, which is counterintuitive given the dryer usage. Aww dang found another spot. To wash my big ass comforter and Work uniforms. Nice and clean here since my washer and dryer is too small for my comforter. And they got a taco shop next door and a 7/11 next to the taco shop. Haha hell yeah oh wait, a VFW post, and the ole plank down the road. That's cool I like this spot. Overall it is a laundry mat you seen one you pretty much seen them all. I get a cold one while my stuff is drying or after either or. Ok adding this to my list of places to wash. I started using their service a few weeks ago where they come to your house, pick up your laundry, wash and fold it, and then deliver it your your front door once its done. It is such a great service! We live on the third floor of a building with no elevator or washing machines, so it was has been amazing to have them do all the leg work. They also offer military discounts. I would highly recommend! Their folding is perfect too, so much better than I can do. read more

My washer broke so I've been having to come here for the last couple weeks and I would have to say it's a pretty clean place but a lot of the smaller washers need repair and aren't usable.. I usually use the big washer which is a little pricey 4.50 but with the drop off service they sometimes they are all being used which sucks... but a nice place read more

Very tired and done with this business! It has the most perfect spot in Imperial Beach. Every time I come here which is very often because I am a neighbor of the community half the machines in the building do not work. Half of the dryers and half of the washing machine's are often out of order leaving very little available for being the closest laundromat in Imperial Beach beach community. I wish I had the money to purchase this business and buy new equipment because it's common sense that a business would make twice as much if all the equipment worked properly and with maintained. I might have to go to the competitor down the street from now on. The good thing is it's just some more a few more blocks well worth it to a business that maintains its business front. read more

If you're looking for a clean laundry mat with great machines this is the place to go. I come here to wash my large comforters and have never had an issue. I've been to other laundry mats closer to where I live but I'd rather drive a little out of the way to go to a place I know is going to be clean and all the machines are most likely going to be in service.
