I recently moved to Tyler and Palm Beach Tan was a recommendation from another wellness provider. I am pretty fair skinned and the mosquitos are killing me here so I tried a spray tan about a week ago to help cover all the bite marks in addition to this white flesh and couldn't be happier to find this location and franchise. I worked with Kelslee (I hope I spelled her name correctly) who is the Store Manager and she is a fountain of great information and "how to's" on the best steps to use the spray tan booth once in the private room. I loved the color she customized for me based on my cool undertones and veins and it looked very natural. My Mom didn't even know I got a tan and commented that my legs are finally looking tan a few days later so I finally told her! I was deathly afraid of getting the "orange Oom-pa-loom-pa glow" I've experienced before. I'd like to try their tanning booths too before I make a decision on which plan to choose from but I would highly recommend this location and the personal customer service here but especially working with Kelslee who was a delight. read more

I used to love this tanning salon. Palm beach was my happy place. Now, the front desk staff are rude, unfriendly, and unaccommodating. The customer service is so bad, I will not return to this salon. Such a shame, as Tyler has limited options. But the ladies that work here made me uncomfortable and definitely didn't make me want to come back. Sara - the "manager" is a young unprofessional and disrespectful girl. Every time I come up to this place she's trying to argue about something or just has this demeanor that she is having a bad day. Not sure what happened to this place , idk if it's new management or what but it's definitely went down hill. The girls are sweet at first but when you don't buy into their sales pitch they cram down your throat then they get attitudes and that smile disappears. I've been going here for a long time and stopped but bring my daughters to spray tan occasionally and they mixed up their spray tan colors and they look a total mess Don't go here read more

I've been going here off and on for a few years. I've always done a spray tan because I didn't want to do the direct payment thing. It always looked horrible. Anyways the last time I came in the girl at the front desk literally pushed products for at least 15 minutes. Even after me saying "I tan VERY easily" and I definitely won't need an accelerant!!! I never write reviews but I want people to make sure they know what they are getting. Pros: the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the environment but that is it. I am not pleased with my spray tan at all. I asked around to multiple people and they recommended this place for an affordable and high quality spray tan. I have never had one done by a machine, only an individual and always received a great even tan. The lack of time and planning on scheduling an appointment with someone lead me to try this route. In conjunction with asking for recommendations, I called around and was quoted the same general price $30-$40 at multiple places, including this one. However that was not my experience upon checkout....over $60!!!!! I told the staff when I came in that I had never done this before and I needed a lot of direction, which I guess they took advantage of that. I was lead through several steps of picking colors and bronzers and such but never once was I told this was not part of my spray tan but must have been an extra charge for every little thing he walked me though (minus the tanning lotion package...I know that much and have always paid no more than $5 for one of those packets). I felt very deceived. I did all the things I was supposed to do to prep for my spray tan including shaving, exfoliating and not using any kind of product on my skin before coming. I went through all the steps I was instructed by the staff before getting in the machine and even waited 12 hours before showering after. I ended up with a nice color, where it is, but it is very splotchy. I am so disappointed in my tan and even more so that it was over $20 more than I have ever paid for a person to do a much higher quality tan. read more

After moving to East Texas from the Dallas area and being used to tanning at Palm Beach locations, I have tried a couple of different tanning places in Tyler and Palm Beach is the best one yet. The manager Ashley and her really friendly and fun staff always make sure you are happy when tanning there. They will have you leaving either laughing or with a smile on your face. read more
