I travel alot and go to a lot of palm beach locations and the one in my home town of conway arkansas spoils us for sure. This location is nice but the mgr needs to work on her manager and people skills. Ive been a manager for over 20 years snd this mgr does not smile, has a RBF and was rude to the sweet trainee. Any service oriented business that doesn't have a helpful website or accessible leadership and locks you into contracts that can only be handled in person and with lots of restrictions, doesn't deserve any stars. I will be reasonable if you will be reasonable. read more

The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, they have great customer service skills! The beds are clean a get you in and out quickly!

I debated about whether to give them a try or not based on previous Yelp reviews regarding customer service. I gave them a try anyway and I'm glad I did. They are super helpful and friendly. I was shocked to see bad reviews but I will go ahead and say that is no longer accurate because I absolutely love this place and all of the sweet ladies working there! The prices at Palm Beach are very affordable and I always achieve the tan I'm wanting in optimal timing. They are renovating but still open to tan (which is great) and I cannot wait to see how amazing it looks when it's complete. I can't think of any reason why someone wouldn't want to be a member here. I've been getting spray tan here for years! Finally broke down and starting the tanning beds (that I know nothing about ) The girl helping me (Baylee) was so sweet and explained everything to me including all the levels very well and even helped pick out a lotion! Will say it was a little pricey but well worth it for their neatness and kindness! read more

I've tanned at Palm Beach for quite awhile, never really thought about tanning anywhere else until my recent experience. This particular location gave me some of the worst customer service I've ever encountered. Coming from the Dallas Region I had no idea it would be such an issue to switch my membership to the store in Longview. My first encounter at the Longview store the associate asked if she could get my information and she would pass it on to the manager to get my membership changed. After a couple weeks, and multiple phone conversations being passed around from associate to associate, I was finally told "ma'am we can't just give you what you want in the snap of a finger, sweetheart!" I was billed more than I should have been this past month, because Longview is cheaper than the Dallas region, but it absolutely was never about the money for me. It was simply how arrogant and rude this woman was. It wasn't the fact that I was given the run around for weeks in a row, because I know how busy businesses are and my request wasn't terribly urgent, it was how unprofessional, rude and sarcastic the manger at the Longview location behaved. I finally threw my hands up and decided to cancel my membership. Palm Beach is clean, convenient and competitively priced but those things aren't nearly as important to me as acceptable customer service. I'm a paying client, treat me like you want my business, not like I'm inconveniencing you because I simply needed your help. I have canceled my membership and will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Where to start? Worst customer service I have experienced in a VERY long time. We sat in the lobby for about 5 minutes before Monica came around the corner. When she asked what I needed I requested the three spray tans for $60. I should have walked out when they asked for my DL number and fingerprint... Was I at a tanning salon or Gregg county jail? I told her I wanted to use one and my daughter wanted to use one as well. 'Oh... Well we can't split them that way'. I'm pretty sure she saw four eyes on the other side of the counter... But whatever. I asked how much just one spray tan was. She said $15... Ok cool. We'll each do one. I paid with $100 bill and she gave me $70 change. Then she continues typing at the computer. What is going on? She then tells me mine will be $30. Since she told me one was $15 I assumed the change she gave me was for two spray tans. 'No. I said they were $30'. Ok, Monica. We're done here I'll just take my money back. Thanks. 'Oh well we can't do that. You can either tan, take store credit or wait two weeks to get a check mailed to you from corporate'. Are you kidding me?!? I was told 4 times there was 'no way' to just take my cash out of the register... 'It'll mess our stuff up' 'I can't disobey my manager and lose my job for your $30'. Not really my problem since you misquoted prices and refused to give me a refund. Monica then turned her back (literally) on me and began helping the person behind me. Evidently management is able but unwilling to do their job and more concerned about the books being 'messed up'. And I certainly wouldn't want to put anyone's $7.50/hr lotion slanging/bed cleaning gig in jeopardy.... Those are pretty hard to come by I hear. I will update post if/when I get my cash back... I'm not sure how any register these days is 'unable' to cancel a transaction so buyer beware. I'll definitely tell anyone wanting suggestions for tanning options to avoid this place like the Bubonic plague. read more

This place is literally the WORST service experience I have ever, ever, ever had. The girls here are straight up bitches. No I'm not exaggerating. I walked in July 3rd bc I happen to be in town and heard about their $1 tan day in honor of the Independence Day. I stood there for almost five minutes - I was the only customer in the salon - and I finally said "Hi" and the girl behind the counter looks up, then calls for another girl who comes behind the counter, SHE says nothing and finally I said hello again and the girl was like, "hey. what can I do for you?" So I told her I was in from out of town and wanted to tan before the lake the next day and had heard their special on the radio. So she begins to set everything up in the computer, and apparently you have to scan your finger print in order to tan and instead of having manners and simple professional etiquette by asking me to please place my finger on the scanner all she said was "finger." I have worked in tanning salons before, I have a tanning salon that I belong to, I also worked in the food industry for six years and have not once ever been spoken to with such dismissal; nor have I or my coworkers spoken to a client that way. She was clearly not wanting to be at work and was irritated that she had to be there and be bothered by other humans. My advice would be to get over yourself and fake being happy to be at work, or don't come in. Leave your problems at the door bc ppl coming in expect to be greeted with a PROMPT hello and smile. Do not subject others to your disgusting attitude. My advice to those living in Longview, go to a different tanning salon simply to be treated with kindness and respect. read more

The place is great. Every time I tan here I am greeted as soon as I walk in and they also speak to me when I leave. Their beds are great too. I only tan about 3 months out of the year, so the only thing I don't like is after I end my tanning I'm still billed every month. I know the $8.50 they keep taking out of my account is used toward the next time I come in which is like 9 months later. But I still think that's ridiculous. I prefer getting great bed packages and paying month to month. Before moving to Longview, that's the way the tanning salon I went to in San Antonio did business and they were the BEST! I really don't like their business plan here. Doesn't really have the customers best interest in mind. Maybe that's why everyone I talk too refers me to tan else where, but this location is closest and more convenient for me. But at least they have great beds and A/C. read more

I love this location! There is never a wait for a bed, it is clean, and the staff is courteous. I understand sales is a part of their job, but they are much less pushy than other locations I have visited. They remind me when I have freebies or upgrades and if I say no to a sale they honor my answer. The bulbs are also great and the fans are nice and cool. Keep up the great work! read more

Kathryn is the best employee ever. I showed up pale as a ghost and she has guided me through every process to get the greatest tan. I have tanning lotion and a tan extender she helped me pick out at the right times. I also did the spray tanning and received good results with her guidance. I am now tan and feeling super good about myself. read more
