Great experience getting a spray tan prior to a weekend of big events. Mia helped me get set up and select the right color intensity and bronzer add on. The booth and room were clean and contained everything I needed. Mia demonstrated the positions for the spray and I felt confident I knew what to do when she left me to it. The spray in the booth was a nice fine mist and I don't feel sticky at all. The color already looks great (I went with dark and a jade add on) and I will definitely be back next month for my next set of events. read more

I got a monthly spray tan package and go in monthly to get my spray tan. Today when I came in they told me that they didn't have the clear solution (ordering error) and so I could pay additional for a different solution or wait 15 mins for someone to deliver more. I waited 30 mins, they didn't install it correctly and I continued to wait. I would have happily done a different solution but didn't want to pay additional since I have already paid for the tan with the monthly subscription. Can this company have a policy that if what they have previously sold the customer is not available they provide an alternate at no additional charge to the customer? Thank you. read more

I have had multiple spray tans in my life and I upgraded with all the amenities and I think it was the worst town I've ever had. It was uneven the bottom of my feet because they didn't clean the machine first or completely bright, orange and brown stuck in any creases that I had. The way the girl told me to stand did not get underneath my arms at all so I actually had to wear a long sleeves out the next day. The girl was nice but clearly very junior at her job. Also paid $30 for a candle there, smelled pretty good in the box, got it home lit it up and it had absolutely zero smell. $30 down the drain in and I will not be going back. I go to this location and the Santa Rosa Marlow location both for me are my home away from home. So I pay over $100/mo and have spent a lot of money on tanning lotions with these people. I haven't tanned in 2 months but have still been paying for it to support this business during COVID. I came to the Cotati location with 6 minutes left to close and I asked if I could tan, even though I knew I was cutting it close,) and the girl who was working said I didn't have enough time. Now I usually go to the one in Bennett Valley and I've gone there right before closing and they let me tan anyway. Several times! I know she could've let me tan here...I guess working a whole 5 hours is too much for some people. I had to write this review because I know she could've let me tan if she wasn't in such a rush to get of there. Being loyal to a business and trying to help support them during Covid does not pay off when their employees suck. Just sayin read more

So disappointed in this location. Have been going here for almost 4 years. Show up on a Sunday am and no one is there. It's closed when they should of been open. Called a couple hours later still closed. Found out not enough employees because of College starting back up. Where are the owners!! Why wouldn't you make sure your business was open!!! Went here after I received a call that solar flair had closed and they diverted there clients to palm beach. So far I have been impressed and keep coming back. The quality of their beds are excellent! I have the most basic plan, but I was given an opportunity to try the gold bed and what a huge difference that made. So if you are on the fence of which plan to do I would go gold. The pricing is reasonable. I pay $38.50 a month unlimited. It's taken out automatically from your bank account but you can freeze at anytime. The staff is friendly and are always kind. They are also very tan ;) good for business. read more

Anyway, never had a bad experience here except that sometimes it can be CRAZY busy but that's what happens when you live near the college. Staff has always been friendly. Place is clean, beds are clean. Huge selection of tanning lotions and other goodies. Only thing I'd recommend is for them to get new chairs in the waiting room. Ever since the new ownership has taken over this place is horrible! I would not sign up with palm beach in Sonoma country especially right now. You'll be Throwing money down the drain. The staff keeps quitting so they don't have enough people to work. I've tried to tan multiple times recently and there is always a sign on the door saying they had to close early due to no staff or someone had school. How bad is It that people pay monthly for a service to be able to use every day and then it's closed without any warning. Contacting customer service has been a disaster as well. They don't do anything. People should be refunded for the days that the salon is closed or closes early! This is happening at all the Sonoma county salons. Tried to tan today in cotati, sign on the door. Called Petaluma because I cotati hasn't been open for 3 days for me to tan for an event this weekend and low and behold Petaluma is closed too! Windsor answered and said to call customer support. Palm beach- please start returning customers for the days you are closed. This is a rip off. And find a way to let your customers know when you are randomly not open. It's wasting all of our time to go out of our way to tan and show up to lights off and a hand written note on the door! read more

I just started going to PBT and it's been a great experience so far! I read the reviews about not the greatest customer service at other locations, so I was a little concerned. However, it's been great! Everyone's super friendly. I can't remember the girls name, (I think it's Kaylyn or something like that.) She was absolutely amazing, super knowledgeable and helpful. I think my only complaint would be that there aren't a lot of beds for each level, but I've rarely had to wait for a bed surprisingly. Since Palm Beach has been taken over by different owners. The place is not client oriented. I have been going to PBT for many years. When I first started, oh clients got so many perks and when any of the booths were down I'd just talk to the girls working and within 48 hours machines were ready to go. There's many other things that this company has demonstrated money hungry, just give us the money. Not client perks. Rhonert Park Salon - All there machines are crap, there broke, bulbs are out and it's been weeks since nothing has been done. Contacted corporate, staff in shop. The boy who works there is such a fake person and snobby, he thinks he's better. If he likes you good, but if he dosen't ohh so so fake smile. It's gross. The Petaluma is the best salon. Great staff, working equipment and the staff is bomb. Santa Rosa store staff bomb. Equipment so so. New owners took it from something that was one of the best salons ever. I've been tanning many salons for lots and lots of years from San Jose to Santa Rosa. Corporate is running into a cash cow. No long term client appreciation. I use to personally get perks for the longer I stayed. Now that I'm at a great low rate because I've been there. Zero, I get nothing for loyalty. Not sure what new clients get but they pay 30 more a month than I pay. Super disappointed. The owners of this place are complete thieves. I used a bonus a couple years back to purchased a massive package for tanning under the prior ownership (if I recall correctly it was $700). I travel frequently for work and set it up so I could come in as time allowed and I wouldn't have to worry about the money. I had been in a couple times with the new ownership, bought some lotions with my points and tanned with them but had practically a 5+ year supply of points left at the rate I was using them. Works been hell so I haven't been in since July 2015... Prepping for an upcoming vacation, I decided to head in for the next 8 weeks. Turns out my account has been COMPLETELY wiped. No email, no phone call, no contact whatsoever.l that this was happening... Basically robbed. Waiting to hear from someone since I have no one to reach out to. This is ridiculous. read more

I'm giving this place a three star review because it's convenient and I'm usually out pretty fast. I got the unlimited spray tan membership for like 35 a month. I was in a wedding and didn't want to look pasty in a black dress. Well, in the beginning it's great! I'm in and out no problem. But I think they are understaffed. The last two weeks I've been in, they only have one person closing and the. A line of like 5 people. The poor girl at the desk is alone, cleaning tanning rooms, and helping people sign up for memberships, as well as checking people in. I honestly feel like it's not safe for one person to be working alone. And people are waiting around for people who are signing up for memberships. It's frustrating seeing the same girl busting her butt to trying to help everyone out. read more

Never have enough beds, I don't get offered another bed instead of waiting as well. The beds need to be cleaned not only the glass where you lay down but inside the unit too. On day of signing up, July 25,2021, I spent 200 dollars, for one lotion, goggles, and a month of diamond membership. After going a few times and learning along the way I have asked some questions about the tanning process, helpful tips, have done my own looking into, etc. A few days ago upon leaving the bed, I stopped and asked about the changing of the lamps, mainly due to one of them being out, in the bed I had just used, and bc I am still new to this. I asked how "new" or when was the last time that the lamps were changed in this bed. I didn't get a straight answer, instead, I got " this one has more than that one"(as she pointed). I replied, " so they don't say or your system doesn't allow you to really know"? Then I got, " it doesn't really say it just shows like how far". Some BS she was hoping that I would buy. I asked another question about the lamp being out- and got a" that's a maintenance thing/issue" " I don't know " very f i r m and abrupt, I k n e w that should be the last one to ask, Answering my questions were obviously upsetting/irritating her& clearly N O T what she came to w o r k for today (tomorrow didn't look any better) She was clearly not happy. Everything was fine just days ago when I was dropping $200 what happened?!?! I thought. Then to make things even more nice as I'm putting on my lotion and goggles getting ready to enter the bed I can hear her talking to a woman who made a comment about what her and eyes conversation was and they continue to go on and on and on g o s s i p i n g about what questions I was asking about the lamps. W H O A! I am paying for electricity at a h u g e m a r k u p rate-- I'm not asking anything inappropriate. Or am I? Anyway it's certainly gained me a lot of elementary behavior. I didn't really and I still do not, understand that asking questions about lamps should be a reason to be completely rude and mean/abrupt short with, and unfriendly and warrant being openly gossiped about , hard looks given, previous nice employees no longer want to say hi and be friendly with me in front of her, (followers) and the whole nine yards. Those were the same things you were doing when you were getting $200 for me?! Did I miss something. I I was certainly didn't see any signs indicating do not ask us any questions about lamps or changing them. Yeah this is my experience here. WOW this was an awful experience and I will definitely be sticking to the Petaluma location. The girls working here on 6/22 are very rude. They're giggling at the front desk talking about their plans for the night and how they don't want to be there. One girl walked me back after my cousin got her spray, and went walking back up to the front talking badly about my cousin who was still sitting in the front. She hid in the office the rest of the time we were there. So disgusted that anyone could behave that way in a place of business. Very clean location, better beds than the Petaluma location in my opinion. The real reason I'm giving this location 5 stars is due to the staff. Always polite, attentive, and extremely pleasant. Two of the girls that I consistently see when I do decide to tan welcome me warmly and even acknowledge me by name. In choosing a tanning lotion, one of the ladies took the time to select a few based off of what I was looking for and even explained the differences. I went with Astonish and even recommended to a friend. We both love it and are extremely satisfied with how much it helps maximize our tans! We're glowing! Another plus is while I'm waiting for a bed, the staff makes sure to inform me how much longer it'll be. It's nice to know you aren't forgotten. It's a pleasure to come in!
