Definitely one of the best Palm Beach Tan locations in terms of the super friendly and super stunning employees that work here, especially the brand new one who is such an easy going and totally cool sweetheart. We both loved her (Barbie and I), wish I knew her name. I'm a huge fan. The actual booth is in a room which is so cold that I felt like I was dying. Literally I've never had a cold room to this degree and the whole experience was torture. Ice bucket challenge x 15 mins anyone? The tan I got was okay but the employees and customer service are definitely the highlights. Palm Beach Tan in Katy does have a few issues. The air conditioning was turned so incredibly high in my room that I goosebumping my a** off and chattering my teeth (and not in a talkative way) until about halfway through. It was a 12-minute older tanning bed and actually bronzed me out pretty well and I appreciated it. And again, the girl working here. She's new but she's one of the most friendly and perfect people I've ever seen working at a salon. She should seriously be very famous.

I enjoyed going to Palm Beach quite a few times and bought lots of merchandise from them as well. Went in tonight to be told my sessions expired in September. I had about 6 sessions left of the high level bed and 20 spray tans left. Malibu Tan never expired so I didn't think Palm Beach would. They should have told me and communicated that when they took over my account. Now I'm out all the money I spent on my tanning sessions and lotions that I bought there. Can I buy more, sure I can. But should I have to, No! Of course after telling me my sessions expired, she tried to selling me a package. I'm out $$ and now you want me to give you more money. No thanks. She was clueless about everything except how to peddle overpriced tanning lotions. When I asked about Melanotan Peptides or the impact of tanning while on them, she stared at me like I'd just asked her to solve a Rubik's cube blindfolded. Shouldn't someone who works in a tanning salon have basic knowledge on the latest topics related to the business? How do you keep patrons safe? And the pièce de résistance? She attempted to sell me a five-minute tan for nearly $80! That's right, folks, eighty bucks for five minutes. I'd pay that much to skip a line at Disneyland, not to get a hot flash under some mediocre bulbs with a ketchup packet-sized sample of tanning lotion. All in all, I felt like I was being pickpocketed one dollar at a time at this tanning salon. If you're into timeshare-level sells pitches, then this is definitely your spot. But if you want quality tanning without a student loan price tag, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. I walked out of this place without tanning and I'm never coming back.
