The first time I came in the girls at the front desk were not only awesomely tan, they were very sweet and very helpful. They answered my questions in detail. I ended up coming the next day to get a membership for spray tan and tanning bed. Not only does the spray tan work extremely well (I'm so TAN in just a few minutes) , the beds are pretty awesome. I was at Palm Beach Tan today and had a very knowledgeable person named Skye explain the different packages and lotions. Seems you have to have an MBA to understand it all but the manager, Skye at the East Cobb location had a lot of patience for all my questions and her knowledge about the various tanning products was super helpful. read more

Staff is nice but It doesn't take much to notice how filthy this location is. It lacks maintenance. I've attached pictures that allow you to see the condition it is in. It is extremely inconsiderate to allow a equipment to get so dirty. The pictures show the standup bed in this location. read more

I've been a member at PBT for 10 years, and after moving to Roswell, this became my closest location. It is one of the most terribly run businesses I have ever been to- it is actually unbelievable. Aside from them circulating employees and managers, I have personally been here when they open an hour late and leave early. They are consistently out of stock on products. How?? You're not stocking a perishable item- how are you running out of cartridges and additives on a Thursday night? This rarely happens at other locations. It's so bad here I have to call and check. Rooms are never stocked- my last time here, I had to SHOW the employee where the hair nets were (center console drawer, for those who inevitably will enter an unstocked room). Yesterday? Versa is down, and they're out of the Iolite additive. HOW is Palm Beach Tan not sending managers from other successful locations - Buckhead Loop or Lenox Rd, Toco Hills, etc; to show this location how to run a store?!? How are they not shuttering this location?? It's so unbelievably terrible - corporate NEEDS a SERIOUS overhaul of this storye. Here are some pics from the last several months- I come in once a week for a spray. Eating pizza at the counter LOL, filthy rooms, out of stock tanning items.... Do yourself a favor, if you have to tan here consistently, start a membership with Majestic across the street. Just tan here for a month and you will see for yourself- there is never not an issue! This place is literally - not even just for a salon- but as a business, one of THE most poorly run businesses I've ever seen. I don't blame the employees even- this is a CORPORATE problem. I asked- this franchise is corporate owned and it's an abomination. Corporate - can you do a complete over haul in this store??? If not, can you shutter it please so another tanning salon can use the space? I want to open a case with Better Business Bureau for wasting money for over a year using this - or better yet, NOT being able to use this- terrible location. read more

They are polite on the phone but completely incompetent in their store. I was new and told them that. No decent information, no proper instruction but not worry...I found all the proper instructions on a card AFTER I was finished and without that info my tan is terrible. Avoid this place. Since palm beach absorbed solar dimensions and changed locations my experience has gone from a 5 Star to a 2 Star. It takes me twice as long, if not longer, to get in and out. Fridays are always busy and they only have one or two girls working. The staff are not nearly as friendly or helpfulI. If you open at 9am why are you not ready to take tanners at 9am? I also ready dislike the opaque doors sliding doors attached to the tanning rooms. read more

Like many of the others commenting here, I am horribly disappointed in this location. The beds that I usually use are rarely working correctly. Bed 5 , for instance, is rarely available. Staff tell me it is broken. I have been reporting problems with beds 5 and 6 for two years now. The responses are: parts are unavailable (understandable during Covid, but that excuse doesn't work today); or it has been reported and will be repaired soon; or the repairman will be here next week; and on and on. Finally they begin saying that Corporate doesn't care and they don't know when it will be fixed. Most recently, the Manager (Shelly was the name she gave), was very rude telling me that she had two years worth of negative comments from me and that no one would pay any attention to my remarks. She said they would not upgrade me because another bed was useable - not true because the fan in that bed is faulty - another problem I have been reporting for months. I cannot get anyone at corporate to return a call to me. The staff (with the exception of Ricki) won't even give me an upgrade when beds aren't available, but they are happy to let me use a bed that is less than what I pay for. Everything here is unacceptable. read more

Most of the staff here is very friendly, however a lot of their beds are broken and have been for a while. They need more than 1 staff member working Sunday mornings. It's very stressful on the poor girls working here. read more

This location is large and clean. The beds appear to be a bit dated when compared to Solar Dimensions up the road. I used the exact same bed at both locations for the same amount of time and was burned at SD vs PBT (it was like nothing even happened at PBT so it makes me wonder how often they change the bulbs). I give points to PBT for the goggles and fresh that towel they provide on each visit. The check in process for new clients feels a little sales heavy. come prepared knowing what package (or no package) you want and if you want a lotion or not. It's a solid 4 stars- I would return because it's an affordable approach to tanning. read more

After being top my membership was canceled. I was continuously charged the stay and save rate. I tried to get it canceled for months since I had moved away and no calls back. I have been charged $80 that I will never get back. The worst branch ever! read more

If i could give negative stars i would. Everything and everyone was great besides being pressured to buy more and expensive products every time i Came in. But i cancelled my membership at the end of June because i Found out im Pregnant. They tried to charge me in july but i didnt Have enough funds and it declined so i called to see why i waa being charged if i cancelled. They said. I Never cancelled and they have no record of it so i Still owed the money even though im sure i cancelled and havent been back in since that day. I was charged again today and it came out of my account, again they said there's nothing they can do. Even tho i did cancel and have not been back in theyre charging me 140 a month regardless. Its ridiculous. Im pregnant. Horrible customer service all they care about is getting more money out of you. read more

Back in May, I purchased 3 spray tans for $90. I was told that the package would last for 75 days. Just called them to find out it expired last month and was only good for 45 days. I would not have purchased the package if I knew this was the case because my college graduation is coming up in a week, and I had planned on using one for this very important day. I am very upset over this, as I basically paid $90 for one spray tan. read more

The billing here is a scam. First they signed up my wife for $100/month auto charge on our credit card. Then she tried to discontinue it for military duty out of state for three months, but they said she had to cancel in person or in a letter. Finally, I drove over there to cancel it (in person) on Jan 27th, but they told me that since it was after Jan 25, we would get charged for the full month of February anyway. These billing policies exploit people--car insurance is more reasonable than these guys. read more

This is my second time having a membership at PBT and I will never go anywhere else! I used to go to the location in Vinings, Georgia. I gave a four because I was really interested in the silver level tanning but it was hardly offered and I think this location only has the stand-up available. Wonderful service regardless! read more
