My search quickly led me to Radiance Therapy Tanning. I walked in and was immediately impressed with cleanliness and friendliness of Radiance. I met Kim, the owner, who helped me select the color and depth of my spray tan. It sounds complicated, but she made it so easy! We went through a quick demo before I began, which was highly helpful. The booth was neatly stocked with towels, wipes and lotion - all the things you need to prepare for your spray tan and clean up afterwards. Even though the spray tan takes a few hours to develop, I noticed immediate color. Hallelujah and Spring, here I come! Before I left, Kim reviewed my after-care. I have had a number of spray tans over the years and Radiance is by far the nicest salon I've ever visited. I highly recommend! By the way, this spot is in Kroger shopping center, so parking is ample and convenient.

I low rating is because once I got home I looked at my receipt and I noticed a add charge for shape. When I came there my nails were oval shape and medium length nothing changed. So I called them questioning the charge the lady said that when you get a polish and trim they charge but if you get a S&S they don't I was confused because I got a S &S and the receipt says add shape. I told her I got a S & S she said Oh! She asked that I hold on to ask someone else, she comes back saying that because I got my nails trim there's a up charge. I called several nails salons and the only time they charge is if you change the style. Beware check your receipt before leaving.

It's chic inside and certainly passes the vibe check. One thing I LOVE - though I haven't been doing manis much lately - they will do it at the pedicure chair while you're getting your feet done so it takes half the time! It's definitely the way to go. I hate spending more time than I need to at the nail salon so I was really happy to see it. Sometimes I get much better service than other times, but I like it enough I still return. About 50% of the time I've been offered a beverage. I wish it were closer to 100% of the time - even when I'm spending $90+ on a pedicure. I know I probably could have just asked but it was odd to see the people around me being offered and not me. The pedicures are normally phenomenal. I've had some outliers, but again - everyone is human. It really is a lovely space!

The ambiance was nice and they offered a wide variety of polishes. We both needed manicures. While we waited, we were offered complimentary beverages by the owner, I believe. This was a nice touch! Anita serviced my husband. She arrived first. She gave him an armrest, along with warm water to soak his nails. My nail technician was Mia. Her quality of service was not the same. I did not receive an armrest nor a greeting, and my water was cold. She wasn't the friendliest either. I could tell the level of attention and detail that Anita provided for my husband was totally different from what I was receiving. However, my husband wished the buff on his nails was a bit brighter. It was dull and didn't really show a major difference. We also did not get a chance to select our manicure preference, as we were told the nail technicians would provide this information to us. Since it was a Friday and we were walk-ins, we plan to try them again on a different day and make reservations to see if the service will be better.
