Last year, I bought a package of gold visits, as well as platinum because I like to alternate beds during times when I'm tanning more often. Upon purchase of these visits, I was never told there was an expiration date, nor is there anything about an expiration date mentioned on their website where packages are listed. I end up using more gold visits than platinum and end up buying another block of visits for the gold bed. Again at this point, the employee that helped me didn't mention anything about visits on my account that would be expiring. So imagine my surprise when I receive an email stating all my visits had expired. Uhhh what? I called the location I'm used to visiting (Kennesaw), and they don't staff managers at this location, so nobody was able to help me. I submitted an inquiry on their website well over 6 months ago that I still haven't received a response from. I called the other location where I spoke with an employee named Kayla that told me the only way I could get those lost tabs back is if I purchased an new package (she would be able to add them back then). The last thing I felt was fair was to give more money to the people I feel stole from me. I brought it to her attention that the website doesn't mention any expiration date, and I guess they don't care because the website still doesn't inform people about this. When I told her I was never informed there was an expiration on packages when I purchased it, she told me that the two times I tanned at the salon during unstaffed hours, the computer I logged into would have that information available somewhere. So wait, it's the clients responsibility to find out there's an expiration date, but not an employees responsibility to communicate that to a client? Very frustrating. So fast forward to last week, I decided to go back, now knowing those tans would expire in 6 months. Upon arrival, my husband and I both wanted to purchase packs of 12, and the girl working this day said I would also have to pay $15 to have my fob reactivated. Sorry, this feels a little like stealing again, so we left without purchasing tans, and I retuned my fob, as I won't be giving them another chance. And as of today, the website hasn't been updated to reflect the expiration period on packages purchased.

Since I never had one before I wanted to try it out before my vacation. All I can say is that I am never going back to damaging my skin in the sun. My tan looked so good . I was worried about how it would fade but it faded very naturally. I know I will be getting a spray tan by Careese on a regular basis. It made my skin look so much better. I'm pretty picky about cleanliness, and in all these years I have never experienced anything less than a clean environment. The staff is and has always been entirely professional, helpful and cheerful. I know you don't have to have merry, but it is really nice to feel like family every time you check in. The equipment is top notch, and I've never experienced a burn. I enjoy tanning any time of year now because this tanning salon manages to keep their space cool even though it feels like Phoenix in July out in the parking lot. It is far more enjoyable and tolerable to tan when the business keeps it space air-conditioned fully. I have had unfortunate experiences with other salons in the area. Management constantly replaces bulbs to keep customers satisfied with their tanning expectations. Frequent bulb changes ensure you are getting your money's worth every time you visit. Something to consider if you go elsewhere. Lastly, for being in the KSU area, there are plenty of tanning options and tanning equipment at Tropic Tan. I do go during the day and I've not experienced a wait yet. Tropic Tan is the best place to go for a quick and burn free tan.

She's quick with her work and beyond that really kind. I always look forward to my session. I trust this place and I have never been disappointed. Walk-ins are always welcome and I have never had to wait long to get my service. Do yourself a favor and get your brows, lips, legs, whatever, done here. I cannot speak for their Brazilian wax as I have never had it done. I saw that there was a review concerning cleanliness, I'm not sure who this person had for service but my lady has always used alcohol wipes, gloves, and switched tools/wiped them down, even if it was threading. If that doesn't happen, definitely say something; that's not okay. But I've never had that experience.
