The salon is clean, neat, and the staff is happy to help in any way. My favorite is the manager, Laila! She is so warm, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Been going there for years (it was fairly close, price was good but the parking sucked ) and suddenly they up & close the location with no notice at all? And now you're expected to go to a different location that's twice as far away and all they want to offer is some upgraded beds for 30 days? (Like if I was interested in that, I would've already bought that.) Really bad judgment call from management! Besides having some credits on my account that just up and disappeared with no explanation after I was told they would never expire until they were used...whatever. Time for a new tanning salon!! Love this place!!! Been tanning here for almost a year!! I typically go around the same time during the week due to 24 hour rule, ha... and I see Kylie a lot she is always pleasant, sweet, and Knowledgeable. They are very by the book, so if you are looking for a small business this is not it!!! But I highly recommend it because everything is black and white there. You will not be confused on how things get run at this location... the girls are amazing at explaining things! If you don't know just ask!!! That's what I did to understand how to put your pass on hold and how memberships work! For upper management- The floors in the rooms are not always clean.. their are no mats in the rooms So when u are barefoot it's kind of weird or gross feeling. DONT TAN THERE. I WENT INTO THE SALON TO TAN AND TRY IT OUT. I had a coupon they advertise for new customers for five dollars no contracts when I get there they want me to sign up and use my credit card as an auto pay for a diamond membership and then I can go ahead and cancel it after I've been charged the first month they are liars and they're rude as hell. This review is strictly for Palm Beach Corporate, employees here are absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend you create a new way for current members to check in and get to their tanning beds faster. On days where no one is ahead of me it takes about 30 seconds to Check in however, on days I come in and an employee is signing up a new member which is often, it takes literally about 15-20 min of me waiting just to check in. Then another 10-15 for tanning time. I expect for this to be a quick process, in and out and on with my day full of other priorities. This place is a scam. They tell you have to cancel in person when you have a membership and as you can see from many other reviews, they pretend you didn't cancel and keep charging you. Then they tried to say they didn't agree to the cancellation which is laughable because you can't force someone to keep a membership if there is not a set time in the first place. I filed a claim with my bank and got refunded but this place keeps calling me and harassing me every month because they can't charge me anymore despite being notified that I canceled by me and my bank. Just FYI, you can file a complaint with the CFPB and the FDCPA as their collection process of continuing to call is illegal if you canceled with them and do not actually owe them money. Just keep record of any calls, mail, or emails you get from them. Also, don't fall for the price they quote as their spray tan is bad and does not work at all, the place is not clean, and they try to make you pay for additions which will supposedly make it work. read more

I love all Palm Beach Tanning salons I have never had a bad experience at one of them and I have been in a lot of them. I travel for my job and that are everywhere. I was there tonight and there spray was down so they told me that there was another PBT 10 minutes away and how to get there so nice and helpful. I went to the one on Magnolia where I was greeted by the amazing Bree who was so helpful and sweet and I love it because everyone seems to like there job when you go to any of them. I do not recommend this place whatsoever. Horrible management and the manager "Kylie" is a millennial that has let her position get way over her head. Horrible customer service just horrible. I've been member for over six years and enjoyed going there until "Kylie" started working there. For the past year, I can't stand going there anymore. I've been very patient but 3 STRIKES and I'm out. She is the reason I stopped going a few months ago and she is the reason I canceled my membership. Best prices around by far some of these tanning salons are high or something when they price their subscriptions, some are SO ridiculously outrageous that I honestly thought one particular place was just joking around with me, true story. Palm Beach Tan is realistic, they have great beds, they're really clean, all the employees are friendly/helpful/knowledgeable and they actually have specials once in a while for MEMBERS not just "NEW clients ONLY" (unlike ALL of the other tanning salons I've been to) which I really appreciate, I love this place. I'm not a fan of businesses that are all rainbows and sunshine before you sign up and then once you do... they act like they could care less that you're there so the fact that Palm Beach Tan sometimes has offers or specials for "members" is more than enough proof for me that they actually care about their clients. So if you are going to sign up anywhere Palm Beach Tan would be my recommendation (and I've been to quite a few) I've actually made a couple friends there too, lol...but I guess it's bound to happen when you've been going to the same tanning salon for almost 2 years (still though..it's not like me at all) but this place is just an all around "positive" place (for me personally) I love going there, I haven't had a single negative experience, I have ALWAYS walked out of the door happy read more

Super bummed about my recent experience. As a new customer to Palm Beach Tan, I was excited to try their spray tan, especially when I got a "one free spray tan" coupon (see photos). Upon arriving, the girl at the front desk (Skye) told me it would be a minimum, required add-on of $8. She said that the email coupons usually says there is an additional charge for bronzer. The coupon I have doesn't say anything about that. When I showed her the coupon confirming there was no mention of additional fees, her response was, "Well, if I put that in the system as free it would be like stealing." Okay, so the staff isn't the best. Some girl are nice, some are rude, some are annoying and pushy. I came in 3 days ago, and there were 2 girls in the front desk, one was talking on the phone about her 4th of July weekend plans and the other girl was helping a customer with some issue and a mystic tan I believe. I went up immediately to the girl on the phone who was free to help me and did not even care to hang up and get me in a booth. I waited 5 minutes for the other girl to finish helping her customer to help me out. Tanning beds are okay. I mean, I know I have the lowest plan, but bed #2 has amazing bulbs and I believe it's a much newer bed, so it does the job. Overall, place is clean, staff is okay, price okay too. read more

My mom has tanned here for years and referred me. She recommended that I initially speak with Skye, so she took me into the salon. Skye explained everything about their tanning beds and different memberships and their benefits. She even honored a previous special that my mom is currently under. She knew about the products the salon offers and helped me choose which products would be right for my very light skin. Skye is extremely knowledgable. The machines are clean and modern. The salon even has speakers placed on the walls near your head by the tanning beds so you can enjoy music during your tanning session. The staff is nice and tend to make conversation. Well this was my second time trying this place.horrible experience as the first one,trying to cancel my account the lady that was on that day ( July 12 ) was overwhelmed she couldn't function with me, phone and people walking in,my time is gold I go to school and have 2 jobs can't be waiting and waiting !!!!!! I was told I could cancel over the phone I call and surprise,I can't I have to go in I finally go in and I was told if I went in if had till the 28 to cancel well surprise it was the till the 25th ... Well it's horrible if u catn have staff that could multitask and have them train properly and have all the employee in the same page one says one thing and there all in different ways !!!!! I am not one to write reviews. I will start by saying that. However, there is one thing that i cannot stand for, or sit idle to without saying something: that one thing is blatant and purposeful lies/deception. That is exactly what occurred to me at my experience with this Palm Beach location. I am not a regular self tanner. However, with a big week of events coming up, i thought what the heck, i will check out this local place, add a bit more color and be done with that experience. I got to Palm Beach, saw Skye who at first seemed very helpful, very kind, and represented what i read about below in the variety of reviews that mentioned her by name. She asked what I was here for, i told her exactly it was just for a one time use as i had an event coming up, and that i did not plan on coming back after my one time treatment. Skye said no problem, that she would just save my credit card so they had it on file, but if i was to sign up for a one time membership that day, i could pay a ONE TIME fee of $49.12 and AS A BONUS they would give me 3 extra spray tans being a new customer. I explained then that 3 more uses would not be necessary, but i appreciated that. Again-- everything was going smooth... $49.12 was a bit more than i thought i would be spending, but i was not going to grouch about the price, because hey.. if i wanted three more times, i could use them and that seemed like a pretty good value. To confirm, i made sure with Skye and the head manager who was there at the time... "Ok just to be sure, i will just be charged a one time fee here?".. "yes, as long as you cancel before June 2nd when the next billing cycle comes up, you will not be charged again". I have witnesses to this conversation as my friend was sitting right there when they explained multiple times this was a one time charge as long as i canceled before June 2nd. I even set a calendar reminder in my phone to cancel membership, (which they said could be done online or in person) before June 2nd. Not one time was i presented with any other option, so i left that day with a pretty good feeling. I was paying a one time cost, they were giving me 3 free spray tans if i used them before June 2nd and cancelled, and overall it was a pretty good value. The experience was fine, i left with a decent tan, and that was the end of that. Fast forward a week and a half later.. I am at a nearby store, and Im thinking, what the heck, ill go in, get another tan--- might as well since i have three more to use or lose, and maybe my white self will look a bit darker. Its a quick process and pretty painless. So i go in, and after asking me what type of tan i want, the girl at the front starts processing my order... i explain to her that i had 3 free tans as a bonus for my one time sign up, and she seems confused. She tells me that those three free tans are not on my account and that my card is to be AUTOMATICALLY BILLED AGAIN June 2nd... and I must go through at least one billing cycle, and therefore will be charged another month. I tell her about the conversation i had with Skye and the lead manager when i first came in and she tells me there is nothing she can do for me now without talking to her manager--- ok... i guess thats fine. She calls her manager, and the manager tells me that its her day off and she doesnt do work on her day off.... Great work ethic/attitude there! I wish we all had that excuse when urgent matters came up on days off! The fact of the matter is is that i was conned by Skye that day, along with the head manager who was standing right next to her. If you are a new customer, have little experience with tanning of any sort, and just are looking for a one time use, i would STRONGLY suggest you look for another spot. I am certain there are far more spots that will give you the honesty and courtesy you deserve, and not try to dupe you out of another $35 when you really just want a one time use. Sometimes people have bad days i get it--- a bad attitude you can live with one time-- maybe the tan wasnt as great as you wanted-- stinks, but you know not to come back. This here was a situation of two people, having no regard for their customer and purposely deceiving that customer and lying to them in order to get more money. As mentioned, i was not alone that day-- i have witnesses to the aforementioned conversation i had with skye and the deal we set up. She knew exactly what i wanted-- a one time fee... a one time spray tan. What i got was "Free Tans" that were not logged into the system, and an automatic charge, without having the option to opt out, for another month that i would not be using tans. Over $90 dollars for one needed tan. If you are about supporting businesses that give customers courtesy, honesty and kindness, i would please urge you..do not give business to this location as they have very little regard for the customer. You work hard for your money, and do not deserve someone taking advantage of that. Thank you. read more

I see a lot of reviews name dropping on the employees but it's not there fault this is why it's a bad review on the company I completely see all the girls who work for this company try and again there just doing a job so I can't blame them for them Enforcing polices given to them . The company policy is ridiculous. Everything as a grown women you can't tan for 24 hrs and can't waive that by a paper or something it's super inconvenient for my work schedule . So if I tan today at 5 I can't tan tomorrow at 10 am that's dumb. I couldn't believe all the rules and policy's and how everything is set up for a scam there isn't anything honest about this place. Wow, I have been going to this location for years, this year besides raising the prices ridiculously, I tried to stop the automatic, and they said oh no you have to have another month because, I did not do it before the last week of the month. Then I look at my credit card statement and they have been charging me $5.00 pmoth since I stopped going. I called the # on the credit card statement to no avail. The place has gotten dirty too. I did like the other locations better, they were better at explaining and cleaner. I guess I will have to call them to see how many more months they will charge me $5.00. read more
