Did a spray tan here and the employee was very friendly. The spray machine is a bit dated and does not give the same all around coverage as a Versa or more updated machine. (you only face forward and backward in one position). They offer two options, clear and Dark. I used their Clear solution and so far, have developed good color. I used the barrier cream as instructed but my hands still look a bit crazy. read more

I honestly felt bad when I found out the lady from my last review was actually let go...and then I thought, I really shouldn't feel bad! They obviously care about the well being of their customers and I'm glad they took the time to read my review and while I'm sure my review wasn't the sole reason for letting her go, even if it had a little something to do with it that really shows me this business is about making sure their customers are taken care of! And that they really care whether or not their employees are representing them in the best way possible and she was doing just the opposite!! So since I got extremely burned the last time I went, I waited around 2 weeks to let my skin heal and I decided to go back even though I was definitely nervous and I breathed a sigh of relief to see that it wasn't the same receptionist working. This receptionist (Dee) was a blessing! So professional, but still super laid back and made my friend and I feel very comfortable, and she was extremely knowledgeable!! Which was so refreshing. She explained everything in such detail and knew every little thing, literally any question I asked she responded with an A+ answer!!! I was confident using the tanning bed and confident once I got out that I wasn't burned, I actually felt great! She actually took the time to look at my skin and she actually said she usually puts newer customers trying to build their base tan in for 10 mins, but since I was burned last time she would only put me in for around 5 or 6 just to be careful!!! I thought that was super nice of her to actually legit think of what was best for me instead of throwing me in there to get burnt like the last lady! I've been in this place a few times. I never tried their beds but their Mystic machine. Mystic is good at this location. Same as it would be at other locations. This time I decided to do an airbrush tan. Although airbrush is more expensive than mystic I always prefer it because the results are way better. Mystic will leave marks and spots on your wrists and feet but by having a person spraying you they will usually be cautious and the end result is usually very natural and different from the Mystic. The staff is nice but what they did to my skin is unbelievable. I had an important event and air brush was my best choice for that natural and even look. Everything went well or so I thought until the day after I was getting ready for my event. She forgot to do the top of my head so on each side by receding hairline I had two white spots that I had to cover with make up so I wouldn't become the laugh of the day. My feet were as bad or worse than the Mystic, color was uneven.... The day after, when I was shaving for my event, the color came off leaving white spots in my neck. My wrists are nasty! So just beware! Pay $25 for a mystic, it makes no sense to pay $45 for an air brush because they obviously don't know how to do it! read more

Had my first ever airbrush tan by Lisa last week. She's clearly an expert at what she does. She made me feel very comfortable and explained every step to me. I've since moved to the part of Highland/SB that is closer to Redlands so found myself switching to this tanning spot, because of location convenience at first, now just because of the ~Saturn~ stand up tanning bEd if you can still call it one..0_o since you're standing up? In just two sessions so far I'm as dark as if I had tanned in a regular bed 4 times. Lovin the result. The prices are reasonable too, even the people are accomodating and nice here. Go figure, in a time where you go to most any business now and the workers forgot what customer service is, these employees still remember ;) Worth checking out! read more

I recently rolled my ankle at work so it takes a bit longer to move around in general. It's healing but it still hurts a bit. I got off work an hour before they were closing at 4 but still decided to try and get a quick tan in for my day. I get there and the lady is nice. I ask for 10 minutes instead of usual 15 because I know they're closing soon. I do my thing, and it takes a bit longer to get out of the bed, put on my shoes, pants, etc. JUST as I was about to be leaving my room the lady rudely yells, "Um, I have to GO!" I have been coming to this tanning spot for 2 years and have always been polite and clean up after myself. It was 4:02 (2 minutes after closing!) and she yells at me and rushed me out. It's not like I was 10-15 minutes over staying my welcome there! After that rude customer service and impatient behavior I'm never coming back. I'll take my business else where. read more

Cheryl is amazing and can help you pick out a lotion or option that would be best suitable even if you think you don't need one. She is knowledgeable in all the beds and will point you to the right one for you. I am not one who is big on going to new/ different places but after moving to Redlands I needed to find a new tanning salon. I googled all of the salons in Redlands and ended up deciding on Island Tanning (mainly because it was so close to home). I just finished my first month of tanning at the salon and have not one negative thing I could possibly say. From past experiences, girls that work in tanning salons seem to be fairly snooty but I adore each and every employee I met at this salon. Very outgoing, friendly and helpful girls who were also sweethearts to my daughter when she came with me. I never had to sit and wait for long periods of time due to the amounts of beds and how on top of the cleaning they were. The beds were always very clean and the salon itself was always kept up. If tanning didn't suck the ink out of my tattoos I would go there all summer long. I am not one for writing reviews but Its good to let people know when they are doing a great job.. keep it up girls :) read more

The place is amazing, I've only tried out the massage chairs so far and they feel so relaxing. I never heard about this place til Darian told me about it. Don't be afraid to talk to her, she is really friendly. I want to thank her for telling me about the place. One day I came in with my arms feeling so cramped after a post workout for not stretching well and I tried out the massage chairs again and this time, it even massages your arms. Afterwards my arms felt better and didn't expect my arms to heal that quick. I definitely recommend the massage chairs they're so relaxing, especially when you kind of need to get some shut eye for a few minutes. Amazing airbrushed spray tans! Regarding the reviews that say otherwise, I don't think those people knew how to prep and maintain their tans. I went in for an airbrushed spray tan, a week ago, and I still have great even color. I had no streaking at all. I was not orange and received compliments all week. Lisa listened to what I wanted and was very knowledgeable and professional. I have been to about a half dozen different places for spray tanning.
