horrible customer service. the blonde girl at the front had an attitude from the start about basic tanning questions. she then charged me for the wrong service and rolled her eyes as if was my mistake when I asked her to fix it. made me wait another 20 mins and helped people who came in after me, ended up having to leave without it getting it fixed. been to a bunch of tanning salons around charlotte and never been treated so poorly, really wouldn't recommend coming here & will be telling all my friends to go to other salons, i read the other bad reviews for this location hoping they wouldn't be true but should of listened read more

They don't contact you if they notice that a payment is t going through. I have had the same number for over 30 years nothing has changed except the year on my credit card that they draft each month so they terminated my account and don't even refund the amount that had been previously taken out. the customer service lady was no help and had an attitude like I'm a robot and can speak but certain words. Alright spray tan but the service is subpar at best. Expect to get pressured into upgrading for packages when you have no idea what they even entail. They'll make you pay more and add on scents and not even let you choose them and you can't smell the scent. On top of that you're paying more for things that other tanning salons give you for free like sticky feet. No one shows you what room to go to and people expect you to know what's going on. read more

The woman working there was very knowledgeable and helpful as I was getting a spray tan. They match the spray tan with your skin using a color palette which was amazing! Everything was very clean too. I could really tell the women there were happy to work there. I will definitely return! read more

Don't get a membership here if you don't want to get robbed. They try to sneak in charges. They billed me for two months within a 2 week time period, claiming it was store policy. I wasn't even 2 full weeks into my first month of membership before they billed me for a second month of membership. They claim this is "store policy" and it's written in the fine print. What kind of store policy charges someone for 2 months of membership within only 2 weeks of starting the first month? If this is how they run their business god knows what other kind of shady practices they have. I was never informed that they would charge me for 2 months before the first month was even halfway up. Lord knows what kind of crazy up charges I would have received if I stayed a member. Thank god I cancelled my membership when I did. When I tried to speak to them on the phone about it, the associate was nice but would still not offer me a refund. Only a credit for a spray tan, which I would have to purchase the color for. So if I want to redeem my "free credit" I have to go spend more money there.... read more

Ok so there has been a few times I'm disgusted by this place, not just this one in general but most . There are no rugs so when you step on the floor and look at your feet it's dead skin everywhere. The rim of my bed always had a bunch of ,flakes. I wonder how long they let the sanatizer soak on the bed? Probably less then a second since the girls work load for one person always working seems to be extremely heavy and unrealistic. Customer service and cleanliness comes first then comes all your damn closing chores... if yall can't handle it then get another person to just do closing duties. read more

Well I was a member since 2004 and I went into tan today the the manger said I could only lay in the bed 5 minutes, I've never not one time been told I could not lay the allowed time of 10 minutes in a bed. She said it's because i haven't tanned in 20 days! Even though I have dark skin and have been in the sun she would not allow me to stay longer. They don't mind taking $79 from my bank account even though I haven't been there in 20 days! So I canceled my membership today after been a member since 2004! Businesses don't know how to treat there loyal valued customers, beware! Don't waste your money. read more

Okay, so I was waiting for a female friend of mine in this cramped waiting room and while thumbing through the magazines I found a yearbook from the Middle School I went to over ten years ago. It was my seventh grade year book, what in the world is that about?! After looking at my goofy picture, I sat back and waited. My friend said that the tanning rooms were very comfortable and cozy, and you didn't have to fear any disturbance. I would have given them a try, but I do enough things already to put myself at risk of cancer. The receptionist here was a younger fellow and he was nice (I have an idea why this high school cat chose this job). My friend says that she will come back, but I would rather stay at home and catch some ZZZZ's. read more

Place continues to struggle with customer service. 4 of the top beds do not lock. Anyone can walk in. Stand up door does close fully so you get half body tan. Maintenance is poor. Expect a delay to get to your bed. May start going to the location in Ballantyne. read more

Recently management has changed and I have to commend Lisa Smith in the Pineville-Matthews~Charlotte, NC location, a 4 STAR rating. She is an asset to Palm Beach as she always greets people with a smile and is willing to help them with their choice of tanning lotions. She has sold me on several and being my skin type, she hits it right on the money every time!! There is nothing better than seeing her after a long day, because she is always so cheerful. I tanned here before my wedding and honeymoon and am currently getting some color for a vacation to Maui. All the ladies that work here have been helpful and very friendly. When I'm done tanning I will put my monthly membership on hold and lock in my monthly rate for my next cruise. read more

I went here for the first time yesterday, looking to do some sunless tanning before a trip to Florida this weekend. The girl who assisted me was so helpful - she answered all my questions, made recommendations when I needed them, and told me about a special that I hadn't heard about. I was very impressed with the whole visit and am looking forward to going back. I'll probably be purchasing a monthly membership based on my experience. read more

If I could put negative stars I would!! Horrible!! Beware!! Went in for a spray tan for my sister. It only sprayed half her body, the manager said she'd let us come back after she'd had a shower, and spray again for free (she made it seem like she was standing wrong in the machine. she was not.) came back a few hours later for the respray, we were put in the same booth that messed up, and it did it again, only spraying half her body. The girl seemed confused and offered to put her in another booth but by this time it was late and we needed to go home to catch a plane in the AM so we asked for a refund and wiped the crap off. She had to call the manager from earlier to request a refund, then said it wouldn't go through for 2-3 weeks. Our friend was coming in behind us for the same tan, saw the hassle we were having and I looked the sales girl in the face and said "We know them, do NOT put her in the same booth", she said "I wont" and looked at me like she was sincere. Our friend called an hour later and said she put her in the SAME BROKEN BOOTH and it only tanned half of HER body!! She lied to me, lied to them and wasted their time as well! She offered to put them in another booth, they did and it barely tanned her. We will all be awaiting our refund for a horrible, HORRIBLE experience and heading to our trip FIFTY DOLLARS poorer. Save yourself money, time and stress go up the street to walmart and get something to do at home! read more
