Although she didn't want to go on her day off, I told her she would be in and out as it was only an oil change. When she arrived the service advisor told her to sign the invoice for the work. Turns out they added in a tire rotation and a full point inspection $300. My Bronco is brand new and didn't need any of this. They pulled a fast one on her. I have never owned a Ford nor have I ever been to their garage. I had no idea how unethical and sleezy they are at Kanata Ford. I tried to call the GM 'Jeff' but he hides away from any conflict and won't return any calls. I reported this incident to Ford Canada. The service advisor "Antonio" called me the next day and offered me a free oil change on my next visit for the troubles but told me maybe I shouldn't send my wife in anymore if she can't understand the invoices. Near the end of the phone call he said "ok, I have added $100 credit on your account" I asked how much an oil change was and he said $140 + taxes. The math didn't add up but I didn't want to deal with this sleaze ball any longer. I left a negative Google review after the phone call. The next day the same service advisor "Antonio" called me and asked if I left a negative review on Google. I said "Of course, I did. You ripped us off and others should know. He said, "Well, kiss your $100 credit good bye and then hung up on me. I tried calling the GM of Kanata Ford and apparently he does this to everyone. He won't return calls and avoids all negative feedback on his staff. This place is a circus run by the clowns. I will never buy a Ford again and I will do my service at a local run shop.

We told him we weren't interested in any extended warranties because previously in the past we had gotten burned with the People's choice warranty and we just weren't interested in going down that road again. He said he totally understood and wouldn't pressure us into taking anything that we didn't want. When the paperwork arrived, we noticed that there was an additional $300 charge for ECP. When I called him to inquire what this was about, he said it was an extended coverage that was mandatory and we didn't have an option to remove it. It covered us for tires for 12 months So I googled this and it clearly said that it was illegal to force anybody to take this ad on and that it was a common practice for high pressure sales tactics to add it on without the option of removing it which is illegal in the province of Ontario. So I emailed Dymtro to clarify and he responded that it was mandatory. I did not have an option to remove it and I had to proceed as the contract was laid out. At this point I know that he's lying to me which is extremely disappointing. So I contacted the general manager of Toyota who said in fact this is illegal and that this shouldn't have happened and that he would take it off but continue to give us the extended coverage which was nice, but obviously intended as placation. At this point there was a violation of our trust and it's very difficult to make a recommendation for a company that employs somebody who would outright lie and double down on the fact that he was being untruthful with add-ons and charges. If you've been charged for this ECP and were lied to that this was mandatory I strongly encourage you to speak up and let other consumers know. This lie was so brazen that it is abundantly clear it's not the first time. I'm adding the written proof. The sheer audacity makes me absolutely livid.

Disappointed with Kanata Honda's After-Sales Support…read more My sister recently purchased a brand-new Honda CR-V from Kanata Honda--a vehicle she was proud to drive off the lot with only 10 km on it. At appx 5,000 km later, serious transmission-related error codes appeared, warning that the vehicle could no longer maintain high speeds. These are major driveline concerns on a brand-new car. She contacted Kanata Honda calmly and respectfully, fully understanding that even new vehicles can have issues. What she didn't expect was the dismissive response. The dealership offered a diagnostic appointment a month later, despite the car being undriveable. When she asked if a loaner or rental could be provided--given that this is her only vehicle--she was flatly told they "don't do that." No support. No urgency. No accountability. Thankfully, Cornwall Honda recognized the seriousness of the situation and booked her in the very next day. That's the level of customer care you expect when you spend $63,000 on a vehicle. Kanata Honda seriously dropped the ball. If you're considering buying from them, be prepared: the service seemingly ends the moment you drive off the lot.

Upon purchase of car I was promised the bumper would be replaced, the car would be fully detailed (inside, out, and under the hood), there would be an alignment done and the car would be fully checked over. Waited a week and a half to pick it up, and left when I got there because the interior wasn't cleaned at all and they only wiped off some of the dirt under the hood. Nor would they confirm if the alignment was done. Or that the wheel lock was even in the car. Their sales associate brought me the manager who offered me a free detailing, with little to no remorse just brushing it off. Only for my mom the overhear their sales manager SamI saying it's a used car, what does she expect? And the sales associate saying i'm picky. No, for $22,000 you sure as fuck should clean it and do what you say. The next day I went back to grab it with my dad he checked it over and further looked at the car. The battery was barely functioning (and the car wouldn't start, which wasn't a problem before) there was water in the gas tank (right after they changed the oil), and they confirmed the alignment didn't get done or even get requested even though it was promised. The sales manager Sami blamed Ping the sales associate for it not being done. Claiming she never made the work order or told him. Sami did look into these things but felt the need to say these things should have all been addressed at time of purchase... when I made the downpayment and proceeded to tell me how the cleaning was done when it wasn't. Claiming some people are pickier than others... uhm no? There was dirt everywhere. How am I suppose to address a battery issue when it started the when I first tested? And in regard to most issues they were all addressed and promised at the time of purchase. Overall, was it worth the headache? Not really. Was the service good? Definitely not. Do they take pride in their work? Definitely not. Do they follow through on their word? Definitely not. Is it like pulling teeth with them, yep! And was the process enjoyable what so ever, yeah no. The best line of the day, after expressing it's not clean and a series of issues the first day - so you gonna buy it? LIKE WHAT? Literally hoping I just settle and accept that their not going to follow through. Don't ever do that. If you go here ask for work orders, receipts, get everything that needs to be confirmed and in writing, and if they dance around it like they did with me on so many things, do not let them get away with it. Because it hasn't been done. Get proof.
