They ripped me off by charging $5000 to repair AC in a 2016 Ford with 58,000 kilometres.

I STILL WOULD HAVE TO PAY $68354 for 84 months.if you do the math just to buy 1 truck the amount would cost 2 trucks.. the thing is i have the finance to just buy it all out right.but there is no respect and.it doesnt matter who you are and how much bussiness you gave them.they care about the $$$$. i may just be nieve but i figured they would want to help a family that bought 5 vehicles in 1 month. do not waste you time on enhanced warranty you wont get your money back and they wont transfer to another vehicle. Sorry they may pay $2000 from warranty the least the can tell you dont buy this truck cause in a year it wont be worth a dime./ so now im stuck going through gurus ottawa which can get me close to what i want for a real truck but still stuck with this overpriced.car ,truck that just eats my money for gas. oh and stay away 2.7 turbo.gas beast. jason

It was a no pressure purchase, with him allowing us to decide what we wanted and needed. It was a stress free experience. We highly recommend Ottawa Honda for a purchase, and Alex in particular as a salesman. We would definitely purchase through him in the future. We are very pleased with the Hybrid. The gas mileage has exceeded the industry average and it drives lives like a dream. T & E Janes

Avoid at all costs, their service department will scam you. Estimate: $140; Invoice: $423. Shady…read morebusiness practices and disrespectful staff. Have used them many times with mediocre service, but will never return after latest fiasco. Scam: Dropped my car off for an oil change. Asked that they look at the AC and see why it's intermittently shutting off. The staff member said "Sure" and didn't mention any price, so I assumed they'd call me once they looked at it and diagnosed. Even my written estimate read "A/C Price $- , Inspect and Report". Got a call to pick up my car and am shocked to learn they charged me $271 to put some dye in the AC system to help find a leak (it's not even fixed!). Disrespectful Staff: When I was shocked by the $271 extra charge I said "Jeez!" and was met with a very defensive staff member, "I would have warned you about that when you dropped it off. I'm normally very good at warning customers. It can be anywhere from $200-$500 for an AC repair." What!? I'm sorry, but you didn't warn me, because I'm not signing you a blank cheque for up to $500. Called the manager, he gave me the same shtick, "He would've warned you about the AC charge, he's normally really good at that". I have two staff members now essentially gaslightling me that I approved a $271 AC charge. I'm frugal, for $271 I'm driving with the windows down. "I'm sorry, I was not warned of any charge for the AC, I read 'inspect and report' on the estimate and assumed that that is what you would do". "I'll talk to the staff serving you, but I'm almost positive he would have warned you." Unresponsive manager: The manager, Marc Houle, said he'd check with his staff and call back. That was 1 month ago. I've sent two follow up emails, and called 8 times this week and I've received no response. I think he believes if he ignores me long enough I'll give up. I'm filing complaints with the BBB and Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery today.

I can tell you hands down Capital Dodge is my dealer of choice and should be yours too. It can be difficult to replicate a noise problem, but the team of Capital Dodge (Thank you Ryan Rodney & Isaiah) they really took the time to listen to my challenge and did everything they could to find and isolate what my problem was. With their savvy diagnostic equipment and great technicians, they were able to pin it down and provide the solution. I was greatful for them having the knowledge, know how and equipment to get it done... Don't lose time going else where to someone that may not know your vehicle and pay unnecessary repairs. Put your trust in Capital Dodge, like I have. I will be back!

Expensive and incompetent. Near complete brake job on my Dodge Journey - car almost did not stop…read morepulling out of the dealership. Slammed the pedal all the way to the floor and had to use the emergency brake to get it to stop. They clearly didn't test drive it after the repair, except to park it, but still handed it over to me. Ok - mistakes can happen, technicians can be rushed by their managers, and although this should have been my last visit, I really wanted the closest Dodge dealership to be "my garage". Parking brake job on our Dodge Magnum. $1600. Picked it up - with the parking brake all the way on, you can push the car and it moves. They replaced almost everything that is part of the parking brake system on this car except the front cable, can you guess what the problem was? They "couldn't get the part", another Dodge dealership IN TOWN had it in stock. Once again, nobody tested the work before handing the car over. Now, I'm going to take responsibility for this third one, because as I look back at the first part of what I have written here, I'm clearly a complete idiot for ever going back. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me three times, well... that's the Ontario public education system's fault. Needed the valve cover bolts replaced on the 06 Magnum, as two of them were seized. They replaced the gaskets as well as the bolts, and the car started billowing black smoke a few minutes into the drive home. Thought it was a little bit of oil spilled during the repair that would just burn off. Nope, kept getting worse - way worse. Oil was continually leaking onto the exhaust, and on the way back to the garage several people pulled up next to me in a panic to tell me my car was on fire. Surprise! Nobody test drove the car before handing it over. Service advisor is friendly enough, but that's really their entire job, they aren't the ones that do the actual repairs, and when things get screwed up the service advisor can't do anything except turn the mess over to the service manager, whose "solution" is usually for me to buy more parts to complete the 4-digit price car repair. I now drive the extra 20 minutes to get to another dealership.
