We grabbed take out but the dining room looked like a great place for a date night! Have to keep that in mind! I only ordered the cannoli but I would come back for it and order 2! The filling is exactly what you expect even if the shell tasted mass-produced. Definitely coming back for dessert yall!

    Good Food

Food is amazing, as well as the atmosphere definitely recommend! Service was amazing and they definitely deserved the tip!

We've order takeout, delivery and dined in here before. Each time did not disappoint, the food is always fresh and the service is quick and friendly. The large pizzas are huge, we eat them for at least 2-3 days lol. The baked Mac and cheese is a hit it was my fav until I had the lasagna, it was so so good! I didn't care for the mozzarella sticks though that's the only thing I would say to pass on. All the pizzas have been great you can't go wrong with any of them. If you dine in they allow you to bring your wine/alcohol it's byob which is nice! I want to try the other pizzas in the future, definitely recommend this spot!

this place is right down the road from where I work. I caught a break and looked at their menu and was drooling over the BBQ chicken pizza BUT their CLASSIC with garlic and fresh basil caught my eye; so I got half-and-half... BRO The CLASSIC was SOOO good that I ate the entire half in one sitting. I want MORE. The flavor made love to my mouth! I'm not even being paid to say it! it is AMAZING! Do yourselves a favor and try it - half-and-half if you mus, but trust me when I say: you will order it again

Really decent pizza! They specialize in thin crust, it seems? Which is fine by me. Family of 4 adults and 2 children shared 4 large pizzas and since they were so thin, we actually only left with a med size box full of leftovers, surprisingly. We had the scorcher (highly recommend), the Hawaiian (another favorite), the classic (subbed pepperoni for the chicken, definitely suggest that), and cheese for the kiddos. The scorcher was the favorite all around, it sounds...interesting; spicy red sauce, chicken, corn, jalapeños, red onion, and cilantro. But, man was it delicious! The Hawaiian is not typical either, in addition to ham and pineapple, it also had dried cranberries and cashews, unique and full of flavor! The classic was my husband's favorite, he's a simple pepperoni guy so we subbed the chicken with pepperoni, perfect amount of roasted garlic and basil. Really enjoyed the food, the ambience was very casual, order at the counter, get your own cutlery and drinks (do I need to tip if all you're doing is bringing my food out?) overall would recommend.

WHAT KIND OF MANAGEMENT IS THIS??? I have been ordering from this Palio's location for years. Recently it's seems they had a change in management or are short staffed not sure but now my order comes with confrontation from store manager every time; Based on where I am located in the colony I can not order delivery directly from the store, i have to use yelp. And was happy to use Yelp and pay the extra service $ because there are no other Palio's near me. Last time I ordered Palio's my normal routine was to go to Yelp, but for some reason Yelp was saying Palio's isn't delivering. I called the store to see if they changed providers, maybe Uber eats, maybe Grub Hub; store manager with a Spanish accent confirmed it was still yelp but their delivery service was down. I asked politely since their server was down if they could deliver to me directly this one time since I'm fairly close (within an 8 mile vicinity). store manager said no, sorry we can't. I asked if they'd be willing to make an exception & I'd pay the tip so I didnt have to get out; he said nope system wouldn't allow it. Which I find hard to believe for a franchised business they wouldn't be willing to do this. I let it go, maybe the guy is new, whatever; I'll order from somewhere else. Move on. Tonight was even worse. I ordered thru yelp per usual; pizza was delivered 30-45 minutes later. Unfortunately my pizza had cashews on it and I'm allergic. I specifically noted in my order on the yelp platform no cashews. When I called to request a refund I got random server, let me get a mgr on the phone. As i waited growing increasingly hangry i hear a Spanish accent get on the phone "I heard there was a problem with your pizza?" Cringing when I realize it's the same guy I had to deal with prior I reexplained what happened and he basically said we got the order right, you shouldn't order from Yelp. "Maybe you forgot to put no cashews on the order" I'm like no, I'm allergic why would I forget to put it in on a pizza that normally has in the ingredients. I ask politely Can you please refund my pizza since you got it wrong. Again, giving me confrontation says I'll void it THIS TIME but next time you should just call us directly and order. I was like look buddy; you are dealing with a customer and shouldn't be telling me I ordered wrong and to go about my business another way. I'm like I guess you forgot about the last time I called you don't deliver to the colony so I have to order thru Yelp. He started yelling at me and stating he was already processing the void and hung up on me! I called back trying to get his name but I couldn't understand what he was saying. He hung up on me again! I called back yet AGAIN, he answered saying "I'm going to call the police if you don't stop harassing me." Is that really what he said!?! Yup it sure was! I finally got his name, Gio, and told Gio I'd be reporting him to the regional leaders who run the franchise. Gio hung up on me again. Lol Wow! Can't believe their mistake turned into a threat to call the police! What the heck kind of management is this? What kind of customer service is this? I'm not sure how on earth this Gio joker didn't think for one second their lack of attention to detail could have cost someone's life?!?

I only had a few cashew nuts and some trail mix snacks from the office kitchen so I was starving when I arrived. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice. It was empty when I arrived at 5pm so I was able to really look around. Our waiter was Ernest. He provided outstanding customer service and made up for some of the issues we had with the food. We started with the complimentary bread. There were some with red sauce and seasoning that were absolutely delicious. I loved that bread with the oil, cheese, and balsamic vinegar dressing. I decided to get the crab cakes. The crab cakes were ok but not good. They needed more seasoning. I know adding Cajun seasoning would have been perfect. They were also overcooked. The sauce they came with was ok, but add some Cajun seasoning and a dash of hot sauce and it would have been much better. I started with the raspberry martini. It was ok but not strong enough. I got the lemon martini next and it was perfect. Overall I think the drinks were good and the food is ok. I think with some modifications to the food preparation and seasoning the food could definitely be on point.

The food was amazingly good--one of the best italian places I've had in a while. Our service was subpar. We were a group of 5 people all around the age of 23-24, and it seemed like our server just assumed that made all his shortcomings okay because he tried to act kind of bro-like with us. There were multiple periods of time where we were left alone for anywhere from 10 minutes to 40. It took us a LONG time to get our food even though we were one of maybe 4 parties in the restaurant. One friend got told they were out of something, ordered something else, and the waiter went, "that's a joke, right?" and told him they were out of that too. His entree came out almost a full 30-40 minutes after the rest of ours so he just packed it up to-go. Only a halfhearted apology that everything was taking so long and no type of compensation. The food was good enough that I would go back to try again since partner and I live in the area. But i really hope we don't get this guy as our server again.

Baonecci used to be in San Francisco and recently came to Frisco, TX in the last 3 years. Their entire menu is ordered in fresh from Europe, pastas and pizzas are handmade in house, and everything lacks processed ingredients. To begin, we ordered white wine and I believe the Judas Spritz, which contained red wine, orange, and more. Both were excellent and paired perfectly with our appetizers and meals. For our appetizers, we ordered the Bruschetta and the Tagliere Toscano, or charcuterie board. The bruschetta was some of the best we have ever had and was made with excellently toasted bread. The Tagliere Toscano contained a variety of tasty meats, cheese, olives, as well as focaccia bread. It was a perfect board and not too heavy before our main meal. We also split the Baonecci Salad, which contained romaine lettuce, arugula, goat cheese and pears. It was absolutely delicious and perfect for the two of us. For our entrees, we ordered the Ravioloni Riccotta e Spinaci and an item from the secret menu, veal ravioli with white sauce. We also spilt a Contadina pizza. We were absolutely blown away by each of these dishes, the Ravioloni Riccotta e Spinaci was my particular favorite. The ravioli ricotta and spinach was served with the best gorgonzola cream sauce and topped with walnuts, it was honestly one of my favorite dishes I have had this year. The secret menu item was classic Italian and another hit. We loved the Contadina pizza as well. It was made very thin and crispy, echoing true Italian style. It definitely could be an appetizer because it was very light. It was made with gorgonzola, mozzarella, parmesan and topped with curly pears, it was delicious! Lastly, for dessert, Rogelio recommended we try the Coppa Amarena over the Tiramisu, so we did. It was a great choice! The Coppa Amarena is vanilla gelato topped with Amarena cherries. It is a perfect, fruity and light dessert to end the night with. However, I would love to come back for the Tiramisu! Overall, it was an absolutely amazing experience. The food is authentic, Italian and clearly made fresh and in-house. Our waiter, Rogelio, also made it such a fun night and gave us amazing recommendations that made the entire experience great. I cannot wait to come back and try more from the menu and have some of these dishes again. Don't let it deter you that it is located in a strip mall, it is truly a hidden, Italian gem. I look forward to returning soon! Thank you so much for a great experience and night!!

But if you want Italian food, you're better off visiting Dallas. My Overall Rating - 2 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food) Atmosphere - Quartino Ristorante is a large, stand-alone red brick restaurant. It's big inside and has touches that remind me the Italian restaurants in Chicago, including stairs that go down to the basement. On my Sunday evening visit for dinner, the restaurant was packed with patrons, many of them families visiting Grandscape. It was also very loud. On our table were our plates & place settings, glasses, and pizza stand. These items are communal and self-serve. Beware if you're a germaphobe. 1/2 Star. Service - Our server was excellent. Our party of 4 had two guests arriving later, but he made sure we had bread on our table and brought out water. Once everyone arrived, we put in our order, and the dishes began to arrive as they were made. And as dirty plates piled up, other staff members jumped in to help out. Thanks, team! 1 Star. Food - Unfortunately, Quartino Ristorante didn't hit the spot for me. Starting with the table bread, the Italian bread was very tough. It was like eating bread that had been sitting out. I was hoping for hot, freshly sliced bread. Good thing there was plenty of Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar on the table, because I needed it to chew the bread. I found out the pizza oven was gas, not wood fired, so I opted for a trio of small plates: bruschetta, caprese salad, and eggplant parmesan. If you like tart tomatoes, you'll like Quartino Ristorante. I like my tomatoes milder (San Marza). While the bruschetta tomatoes were great, the bread they sat on had the same trait as the table bread. Finally, my eggplant was more mozzarella and tomato sauce then eggplant. 1/2 Star. Will I Return? - No. Quartino Ristorante is not my kind of Italian restaurant. It's large, loud, and families that visit Grandscape will be perfectly comfortable here. As for me, I'll stay local to Dallas for my Italian eats. No Stars.
