Pizza "All the Way" with added black olives and extra cheese.
Troy P.

The best "all the way" everything pizza you can eat. All the fresh toppings are chopped so small that every bite gets that specialty pizza feel. We typically add black olives, jalapeños and extra cheese. They use provolone cheese and it really sets it off on that thin crust. Great atmosphere and service from a Dallas original since 1946

The BEST lasagna I've ever had in my 56 times around the sun!!! The portion is HUGE!!! Outstanding all around!!!

Wow! Campisi's was the most pleasant surprise this weekend. Daughter wanted something Italian for her birthday and we ran across Campisis and just decided to give it a try. From the outside we didn't really know what to expect but the second we walked in we were blown away. Amazing service from Hostess to waiter, Joe was INCREDIBLE. The food was absolutely amazing. The calamari was delicious, the house salad that is served with most of the dishes is the best salad I've had in a very long time. Every dish was so good. Our waiter treated my daughters soo good for their birthday. Just loved our entire experience.

Food was okay. It was warm but not quite what I expected. I ordered a pasta combo and the menus said it would be ravioli, lasagna, and spaghetti with meatball. It was all mixed together on one plate so that was a bit odd. The service was excellent and friendly. The restaurant is dark and cold so bring a jacket.

The sauce is the boss. Reasonable prices, good service, excellent food! Make sure and get the baked artichokes, they are heaven.

Good pizza and good salads - good pasta. Have eaten there for years at every location in the Dallas area.

I came here during December and tried their festive lunch menu. We ordered the Bruschetta Duo and…read morethe Spicy Rigatoni Vodka, and both were really delicious and tasted fresh. I particularly liked the bruschetta because it was quite different from a traditional bruschetta. It came with roasted cherry tomato and house-made ricotta on one, and roasted butternut squash, Brussels sprout leaves and crushed hazelnut on the other. I really enjoyed trying something a little different! The Spicy Rigatoni Vodka was also really good, with Italian sausage, crispy pancetta, shaved garlic, basil and Grana Padano. Service overall was great. Our waitress was super friendly and checked on us throughout the meal to make sure we were happy with everything. The restaurant was buzzing when we visited for lunch on a Saturday, but there was still plenty of seating. It's nice and bright inside and located in a great area with plenty of parking. I'd definitely come back!

Not sure if this is just this location or nationwide. The food was not very flavorful. We ordered the arancini for appetizers, the pomodoro agnolotti, chicken parm and kids pasta with red sauce. The arancini was tasty and best item out of our orders, green sauce was fabulous for dipping. Both tomato sauces tasted store bought, pastas were undercooked more than al dente and chicken parm was over salted. The texture of the agnolotti was thick and chewy and not at all delicate and tender as it's intended to be; would not recommend ordering. Service was terrible. Waiter was rude and inattentive. The ambiance is nice to sit outside by the fountains on a nice day but otherwise not worth the visit, especially for the prices they are charging. Other things to note- happy hour has a good selection but is only available at the bar. Their prix fixed menu deals like the $40 3 course dinners do have smaller portion sizes for all the courses; this is not clearly specified on the specials they advertise. Vegetarian options available but limited.

We started out with the bruschetta and the stuffed mushrooms. The bruschetta had such a depth of flavor I was scooping the fallen tomatoes on to my last piece. The stuffed mushrooms had a nice snap with a scream four cheese filling accompanied with a delicious lemon sauce alongside a rim of balsamic vinegar. I finished every last drop with the delicious house bread. For the entrée, I ordered the chicken carbonara. The sauce was so creamy with a generous amount of panchetta mixed throughout. The portions were also huge, so we ended up taking a lot home. Just when we thought the meal over, the server brought out four canolis on the house. Two pistachio and two strawberry creme. So light and flavorful. I will definitely be back to try more!

We visited for our anniversary and loved our dinner and experience. If you like garlic and…read morerosemary, order the bread and meatballs! It was the best focaccia bread I've ever had, even better than Italy I think... Very happy with the center cut steak, charred with good flavor yet still medium rare in the middle. Flavorful broccolini and polenta to compliment. The Cacio e Pepe was certainly the most peppery we have ever had compared to other spots. We still enjoyed it very much. Great attention and friendly service from the staff! they greet you about your birthday or anniversary, but no complimentary items (which is understandable considering majority of customers likely come here to celebrate) Additional Note: there is no happy hour from 6-9 at this location!

I had a pasta dish when I came a year ago and it was as good as just about any I've had, including in Italy. This latest visit, I had the New York strip and it was excellent. I am usually unimpressed with the steaks served at restaurants, but this was of a sufficiently high quality that I throughly enjoyed it. And while it was steak, the kitchen's skill was shown through the excellent sauce that accompanied it. The service was attentive, including the host staff who graciously moved us outside. I was quite pleased on that front. Ambiance/decor is fine. But the inside of the restaurant is loud. Like, really loud. If you're hard of hearing like my mother, it will be impossible to talk inside. And if you don't like practically yelling to communicate, it will be uncomfortable. There were also issues with their AC this visit so it was stuffy inside. These (hopefully one-off) issues notwithstanding, I would definitely go back to Il Bracco and probably will in the future.

Kenny's Italian Kitchen -- Exceptional in Every Aspect!…read more Perfect! Let Chef Kenny Bowers and his fabulous team take you on an epicurean journey through the wonderful flavors of Italy! From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for something special. Our hostess, Valerie, warmly welcomed us and introduced us to a dining experience reminiscent of the Rat Pack era of the 1960s. The walls are covered from floor to ceiling with framed photographs of historic figures and local patrons. The classic red-and-white checkered tablecloths complete the nostalgic atmosphere. Our server, Jocelyn, was outstanding! Her descriptions of the menu were thoughtful, informative, and delivered with genuine care. We began with fresh bread accompanied by a tableside preparation of balsamic vinegar, extra virgin olive oil, and a light touch of pepper. So good! Our appetizers included calamari and a trio of bruschetta. Both were delicious! The house salad with Italian dressing was another excellent choice. For our main courses, we selected two combination plates. The first featured lasagna and shrimp scampi -- the best shrimp scampi in Dallas! The second featured lasagna and four-cheese ravioli with red sauce. Every bite was delicious! Adding to the experience was the wonderful background music, featuring Frank Sinatra and other legendary performers of the era. It was the perfect complement to the restaurant's old-school Italian charm. Throughout our meal, Jocelyn anticipated our every want and need. She is truly a professional who understands the art of providing stellar service. During our dinner, we were personally greeted by the manager, Cody Hancock. Here is a gentleman who knows his craft, understands how to build an exceptional team, and genuinely cares about making every guest's visit memorable. His personal attention, combined with Jocelyn's outstanding service, made us feel truly special. That kind of genuine hospitality is becoming increasingly rare, and it deserves recognition. I could go on, but suffice it to say that Kenny's Italian Kitchen is exceptional in every aspect -- food, atmosphere, service, and management!
