My wife and I often order delivery from here-- it's average delivery Italian food, fast, and it's cheap. Absolutely what we want. The reason why I give this place 1 star, will never order from again, and will tell everyone else I know to stop going to this place are the people who work there. Tonight my wife and I ordered delivery as we normally do. We ordered two chicken parmigiana and a house salad. The girl taking my order tells me they upped the delivery charge, a bummer but understandable so I order another house salad, give them my credit card info and I'm done with it. When my food comes I notice there's only one chicken parm and unfortunately I don't notice until the delivery driver drives away. No huge deal-- I call then up and tell then they forgot part of my order. What happens next is why me or my friends will never eat at a Palio's again. I call up and the same girl answers. I tell her one of my chicken parms were missing. I guess she remembered me because she was immediately convinced she was right and I was wrong, I could even hear her telling her manager frustrated "I repeated the order." I honestly don't know which of us were wrong and I don't care, that's not how you do customer service. Never said sorry or had any remorse whatsoever, she just complained to her manager that she was right. Whatever, I then ask her if I just order another chicken parm if I still have to meet the order minimum (because, you know, I wanted dinner). I hear her talking to her manager, again insisting she was right, and she comes right back and tells me very indignantly I'd have to meet the minimum again. No sorrow, just a big screw you tone. I would have been happy to pay a delivery charge or whatever, I have no problem assuming I made the mistake but you have to still treat your customers right. Their utter contempt for their repeat customers who order from there about once a week means I'll never order from them again. read more

When I want delicious pizza, this is were I go. Their oven-baked crust is thin and crispy like a cracker, baked in an oven and ready in about 5 minutes. They have over a dozen specialty pizza's and my favorite is the Hawaiian Pizza. My 4 star rating doesn't apply to my friend's Meatball sub he decided to try this time. The meatballs were the frozen, bland, store-bought kind and the sauce could do nothing to change that. The sandwich was on the small side for the price. Tonight I stood at the counter for what seemed like forever, long enough for the one young lady to take and complete a delivery order over the phone, and was never acknowledged!!! I was standing right in front of the cashier!!! FINALLY the girl who took the delivery order asked if I had been helped...um, no, no I haven't. When my pizza was ready, the girl handed me my pizza and immediately took a call. Then had the nerve to seem bothered when I asked for parmesan & peppers and literally tossed a handful on top of my pizza box!!! Not hand them to me, not ask me if I needed a bag, not even check to see if there was anything else I needed. I usually also get the garlic butter to dip, but I was so disgusted at this point! I'm disappointed at this experience and hope it is corrected. And as long as I've been coming here (8 years mind you), it has NEVER been this bad. If I could give no stars I would. I have ordered from here before but today will be my last time. The delivery driver gave my food to someone else without verifying who he gave the food to. Then when I called him he told me he gave me my food... I called the restaurant back to horrible management that was not accommodating at all. They have the worst phone etiquette, and horrible customer service!!!!!! I had to threaten to call the police to get them to agree to bring me my money. Their lunch special is a great deal, less than $10 for a personal pizza/sandwich or pasta with a side salad, bread and a drink. such a bargain. seating is limited, so you may have to wait a little bit to find seating , but they have patio seating in the front and back if that's your thing. we've started ordering delivery from them at work and they are super fast. they may say 45mins, but it's more likely to be 20mins unless you ordered something special. but we've ordered a variety of pizzas and pastas and they were there lickety split. read more

I love this little restaurant. We have been there few times. I usually order their Chicken il Palio, which is good but not life altering. My husband really liked their calzone, which has pretty much been the driving force between our returning visits. I am glad we kept coming and trying new things, though, because this last visit was the definitely the golden egg. We were there with a friend and decided to go for a pizza, The Mediterranean. It was amazing! The perfect balance between sauce and cheese. The perfect balance between thin and thick crust. And yeah, I don't even like pizza that much. This really is an OK place, and that isn't meant to be read into as a negative at all. If you want decent italian food, and a charming little environment, then check this place out. Their lunch special for 7.99 is a great value, and is one of the few places that beats my saying of "you get what you pay for". It's not life changing good by any means, but it's enjoyable, and you can take a group. I work close by and have been frequenting this restaurant repeatedly since a friend helped me discover it. I took my wife on a Tuesday, and we went back that same Friday because we liked it so much! The Sandwiches are good. The pizza is even better! It's fast and efficient. You can sit outside in the front or back, or there is interior front and back seating too. There is a lunch special that's hard to beat. I only don't like that the salad dressings are out of a bag. There is a Brazilian guy that is kind of offish and really really hard to understand, I think he might be the manager. But I can get along with anyone for a few minutes if they have a good product! Your order is always wrong. Expensive cardboard box only. We ordered The Classic, the first word in the Classic is chicken...but no chicken. We asked to add sundried tomatoes.. but alas no sundried tomatos. So we paid almost $20 for a cheeze pizza with some basil and big tomatoes. And if you call in your order, they do not ask your name so be sure you open the box in front of them before you leave. Not impressed.. dominos gets it right all the time. Fav gluten free pizza spot! I get double feta and pepperoni, light on the mozzarella. Melty cheesey awesomeness. This is my second time at this place and I'll review by category. Pizza: I don't wanna be unfair and say that it's the best Pizza place around because I haven't tried all the places in the area. But what I know is that the place has a nice selection of pizzas, which are "tasty" and authentic. Unlike the typical Pizza places in the U.S. where you only have two to three ingredients and you have to pay for extras, Palio's selection already have more flavors, sauces, veggies beside the meat, which creates a second distinctive taste. Salad: they have a delicious salad with feta cheese and their own dressing. Other: I still haven't tried their pasta and calzones but once I do, I'll review. The service is great here, and I get a kick out of these Texas "BYOB" places where you can bring your own alcohol. However, their pizza is not good. Specifically, it's the sauce. The sauce is very bland and not well-seasoned. I'm assuming it comes out of a can. I liked the cheesy bread, and the salad was fine, but the pizza, although it has a thin crust, was not good. The toppings are fine, but again, I think it's a combination of the sauce and the flavor of the crust that makes it just ... bleh. Plus -- they cut it in squares. THEY CUT THE PIZZA INTO SQUARES!!
