This is the first time I ever came to this salon and it will be the last. I got a mini mani and pedi and added gel to them both. That was an additional $20 to the service (which I guess is the standard now). After the pedi tech started I told her I changed my mind on the color and wanted to do my toes white. She said that will be an additional five dollars... on top of the 20. I said why is there a difference? It's the same polish just a different color and it was responded to five dollars more. So I said don't worry about it. I'm gonna keep my original color. I showed the nail tag my inspiration pic and said I would like to keep my nails square around, but I would like this design. She said OK and ended up filing my nails more into an almond shape. OK, no big deal I guess. But this is the final product in the pictures. The woman was very nice, but I felt like I was on an episode of nailed it. Before I even knew it, she was painting Pink over the white and at that point I was just over it. I'm now on my way to another salon to have this polish removed and redone. This cost me $120 today and that's not with the redo very frustrating

I've gone to almost every nail place in Lafayette, and Palace is my tried and true. My acrylics will consistently last for weeks. Also, I only do walk in, and I've always had service with little to no wait time. That's my biggest priority when finding a salon in Laffy, and it's hard to find. Of course, I favor different nail techs, but I found that each does a good job. I know it's pricier than I'd like, but if I want my money's worth, catch me here.

Mary did my nails and was the best nail tech I've had in years. She was fun but more importantly detail oriented and did amazing at making me feel comfortable. Nancy was the tech on the side of her who also seemed amazing and made the environment fun too. I loved my nails so much. The nail polish I chose was the TAP in Electric Nights. (A glowing blue color) Fun fact: I wanted to add pictures because she said a previous client said that this color line did not glow for her but it definitely glows if you expose it to enough light! (Possibly also has to do with color choice) I will definitley be back again !

Palace Nails is definitely my new nail salon! Convenient appointment system, large space, great techs. Do not be late to your appointment! Even by a few minutes. They are so busy even during the week you will lose your requested tech. I requested Bailey for my gel mani and Demi did my gel pedi. It's 5 extra to remove gel so keep that in mind. Gel mani was $35 and Palace Pedi was $37+$20 for gel +$8 for paraffin wax. It's around the same price i paid in Miami but Demi spent her time with my pedi and made sure all the callus and cuticle was removed. Bailey was also great, fast but made sure everything looked good. They will be my regular techs moving forward, keep it up ladies

Love my holiday nails. They came out so good. I love the almond shape and designs. Such a great experience.

I just moved here and, based on reviews and the website, decided to give Palace a try. It did not disappoint. When you look up the word efficient, there should be a pic of this establishment next to it. When you walk in, a staff member is there to take your temp, give you hand sanitizer and set you up for your service. There are SO MANY stations and technicians, there was not wait. They explain each step and move you to each part of the process. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. My only gripe was that my ombré style leaned more towards one color with a faint second color underneath, but it is still pretty and I am still happy. I have had them in a full week and so far they are holding up very well.

Price changes each time you go. Lack of price transparency. Zero apologies or call from manager once you mention price change. Do not recommend . Customer service does not exist. Charge you for service not performed also. Will not return. Don't waste your time with poorly ran/managed establishment .

Colors Nail Club stood out immediately with their excellent reviews, and now I see why! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly and hilarious staff member (I didn't catch his name, but he was incredibly accommodating to what I needed). The energy in the salon is warm, welcoming, and genuinely fun--everyone seems to be in on the laughter, which makes the whole experience so much more enjoyable. I was paired with Jessica, who was extremely patient while I decided on a design. We didn't finalize the look until my nails were already applied, and she still nailed it--pun intended. The shop gets busy quickly, and it's clear they have a loyal base of regulars who keep coming back. While I didn't get a pedicure this time, I heard glowing feedback from other clients while I was there. Apparently, their pedicure service is amazing--not only do they pay great attention to the heel, but also the sides of the foot, leaving your feet feeling completely renewed. I'll definitely be back and make Colors Nail Club my go-to nail salon whenever I'm in Lafayette. Highly recommend if you want beautiful nails and a good laugh!

Perfect pricing It wasnt the price that got me but the questioning before my pedicure started . Basically management said that all employees have to express the prices prior to the service . I understand it allows knowledge to the customer but because of the conversation it left me questioning a comfort level. Both services were an amazing minus the machine not working (detox) so for the 100 dollar pedicure. But it was the fact that I observed the other clients and listened in to hear if these same questions happened ... and I was the only client that experienced the discussion of pricing. I paid with no argument and loved everything about the salon but it seems weird that it was just me . They gave me wine and a pillow to extend comfort. But it was still the feeling of why just me . I love my nails and want to go back but I feel uneasy.

As soon as I walked in they wanted to turn me away because apparently the technician "who does natural hair is busy. You have to wait a long time". They then asked me to take my hair out of my clip and allow the free technician to examine my hair and decide if she would take me. The service itself was very thorough. Lillian was my technician, I will say my scalp and ears feel very clean even though I don't feel like the service was very relaxing at all. After my shampoo, they took me to the salon chair and she was completely lost on what to do. I showed her how to use the mousse and she attempted to style my hair but did very poorly. I will say this service was not worth $69, maybe $35. I wish I had not wasted my time.

If you're considering semi-permanent makeup, I do not recommend this establishment. The owner,…read moreChloe, who also performs the procedures, is unprofessional, rude, and temperamental -- as other reviews have mentioned. I paid $600 for a nanoblading and powder brow combo (an upsell from $550 nano blading), and within 3 weeks, 85% of the color had faded. Chloe then quoted $199 for a touch-up, despite having written $125 on my consent form (which, fortunately, I photographed 3 weeks ago). When I brought this to her attention, she became hostile over the phone, berated my eyebrows, mocked their appearance, frequently interrupted me, and dismissed my concerns. It's absolutely unacceptable to disrespect a paying client this way -- especially when trusting someone with a semi-permanent procedure on your face. Every client deserves to feel confident and cared for after a beauty service, not insulted. It was a deeply unprofessional and uncomfortable experience. Additional Context There were several red flags early on -- from a confusing deposit process to upselling services during my appointment. The website asked for $25 deposit to confirm the appointment (which I already paid), then Chloe texted me about paying $100 deposit to confirm my appointment, which was confusing. When I arrived for my nanoblading appointment on April 12, (quoted at $550+ on the website), Chloe convinced me that I should do powder brows for the gap in my right eyebrow (quoted at 599+, which is an upsell). We discussed how I have combination/oily skin. I was hesitant about adding powder brows for the gap as my research shows that nanoblading is more effective, but I went along with her recommendation as I naively trusted her. She told me on average the fading is 40 - 50%, mine as you see is 85% faded 3 weeks in. During the appointment, Chloe assured me that some clients don't require a touch up, when I mentioned upcoming travel plans (I do not live in Lafayette). She only wants me to come in for an eyebrow wax so she can check on how the eyebrows are healing and do a clean up. I said sure, I can come in earlier than the 4-6 weeks needed for follow up. I hoped I didn't need a touch up as I didn't want to extend my stay in Lafayette or spend the additional $125, bringing the total to $725. Fast forward to May 1st nearing the 3 weeks mark, I sent her pictures of how my eyebrows were healing and mentioned that the gap, which is the MAIN reason why I wanted to do nanoblading in the first place, is very visible and that the powder brow had completely faded. She mentioned that she would generously do a minor touch up for free, but the full touch up would cost $199. I was surprised at the quote as she told me $125 in person. Thankfully, I took a picture of the consent form with the $125 quote. I also asked if she was open to taking $75 for the left eyebrow as she graciously already offered to touch up the right eyebrow gap for free. Chloe called me promptly and started insulting me. She became hostile over the phone, berated my eyebrows, mocked their appearance, and frequently interrupted me. She mentioned that she always said a touch up was essential, which is a lie. She said she doesn't recall the $125, but she will honor it (I wonder if she would have honored it if I didn't have a picture with her handwriting for $125 on the consent form). She told me she has another client coming in and doesn't have time to continue the discussion. That was how the call ended. I texted her that I'm not moving forward with a touch up and she didn't respond. I would not recommend this business to anyone, which is a shame as my sister was interested in her services. Regardless of her day, no paying client deserves this disrespect. I would strongly advise others to seek a reputable, client-focused professional elsewhere.
